McCain = Goebbels and Hitler rolled into one.

Look, ma! He's a one-man fascist propaganda machine!

McCain has the morals of a Borneo cannibal in a Texas kindergarten. Do you Republisheep really want a future in which the government owns every aspect of your lives, the media you consume, the hospitals you go to when sick or pregnant? McCain/Palin promises a future of corporatocracy, the best example of fascism the world has seen since Mussolini coined the idea.

Polls dont mean anything. The undecided vote as well as independent vote counts alot and polls never account them properly. If anything, one the debates are over, maybe there might be a better focus but now its just for attention.

Republicn president George Bush made USA much stronger -- economically, socially, internationally, ..

Yeah all America should hail the chief. He has done so much for us po folks, lets see starting wars we don't need, making people decide between gas and food, losing and shipping out million of American jobs. Making so many countries that once were our friends now our enemies. Not to mention his friends big oil are making record profits as people struggle to save their homes and send their children to college

    • Posted By: suzyku @ 09/14/2008 11:46:24 AM

On what planet do you live?!!!! He did absolutely nothing for this country except to start unnecessary wars, get thousands of people killed and maimed, ruin our economy, lie to the people of this country and practically destroy the American dream along with the middle class! He has helped the oil companies to see some of the largest profits ever in our history though! Are you completely nuts?

My own Palin bubble has burst and I suspect that a lot of other independents will follow soon. She is becoming creepier by the day, as McCain fawning over a female cowboy carbon copy of his rival George Bush, creepy, like her husband's role in her work and the fact that Alaskans are afraid to talk about her because she might come back and punish them one by one is creepy. And things like McCain suddenly becoming an unabashed liar. I always felt bad for McCain for the way he was treated by the Bushies in 2000, but I think I also held it against him for coming back to Bush and the GOP afterwards. His use of their Rove style politics in 2008 is really the final straw for me and that man.

This really surprises me. With the way the Media (NY Times, Washington Post, Associated Press among others) are attacking Palin you would think she was running for President. I do believe this will help McCain because the only people who agree with these tatics are the Democrats, The Republicans and Independents really detest this and it only drives them toward McCain and Palin so being a McCain leaning independent I say keep up the good work and cost B.O. and Biden the election

    • Posted By: sedonakaren @ 09/14/2008 12:18:27 PM

She IS running for President. Wake up. McCain is very very old and in very precarious health (4 times melanoma. Melanoma is one of the most deadly forms of cancer, and THE most deadly form of skin cancer. Check out his cheek!) It would be extremely likely that Palin would hav e to take over for him.
And since she doesn't know anything about foreign affairs, WHO is going to play Lieberman's role of leaning over and whispering in his ear when he makes a mistake? SHE certainly can't do it!

I find it so interesting that the media attack dogs only attack Palin. What about Joe Biden? Is he in this race ? Let's be fair, we expect the media to attack Joe as well. What's up with that?

Have you a brain? The killing of wolves is not for sport -- it is to protect livestock and other animals preyed upon by wolves. Does the bible really say that the predators of the world should be allowed to go unchecked? The ignorance of so many bloggers is appalling. If they represent our sociiety we are truly doomed.

This race is now about Obama and Palin. It has never been about issues. If it had been, neither would be in this race.

That's funny, we said the same thing about Obama and his experience except she's not running for the highest office in the world. Also, get your facts straight, like many you've read too many blogs.

Obama is unqualified. That is the bottom line. You can't put enough lipstick on that pig to make it anything but a pig. Then again, Obama with lipstick might get a few laughs on SNL. He would need at least three tubes.

  • Posted By: TruthandConsequence @ 09/14/2008 11:53:36 AM

I am sorry - but racial intimidation is not going to work with voters. This is a well practiced bugaboo with the Dems - basically, it says the only way you can prove to yourself you are not racist is to vote for Barak. The Dems made this race about race the minute they proposed Obama. It is as much meant to be a winning strategy as a simple accomplishment for African-Americans. The Clintons were hung any time something they said could be construed into a racist view. Now that the Repubs have a woman on the ticket, it is no longer about gender bias, to the Dems it is about foisting an inadequate symbol upon the uneducated brainwashed masses. Give me a break!

    • Posted By: idcountry @ 09/14/2008 12:13:18 PM

Give us a break---why do you think skin color is the only thing that matters to people??? I think the American people are smart enough to look past all this hoop-laa of race and age and decide which candidate will actually bring about good changes for our country, and that certainly isn't McCain. How can you suggest that people who want to see changes in our economy are just looking at skin color? I think you need to have your eyes and hearing checked.

  • Posted By: littlemeow @ 09/14/2008 9:47:52 AM

We live in a sad state when we allow someone who looks like us determine who should be president. The GOP campaign has been caught in so many lies and all people can concentrate on is how his VP choice looks lie them not the issues. Whatever happens all I can say is God help us all if this is what American politics have come to. People were looking for all types of excuses to not vote for Barack Obama, by now if you do not know who you are voting for you were looking for an excuse to cover up your ownracist attitude thhas put this country in a horrible state. So I say vote but please do not complain if this country falls further into a crisis and all of us are at risk bbecause we could not give a person who did not look like us a chance. Black people have voted for the white guy all of their lives now that there is a viable black candidate where is all the support. If we pick a president based on lies so be it I feel like never voting again because I can not believe the stupidity of people.

    • Posted By: SEA Observer @ 09/14/2008 9:58:27 AM

Too bad! 50% of us don't think that your candidate is "viable" enough. He lacks judgement! You can use the race excuse forever but it won't work. I just wish that there are more Bill Cosby out there....

      • Posted By: sedonakaren @ 09/14/2008 12:12:59 PM

So you want to talk about "judgment?" Obama is the only one running who realized the war was a mistake BEFORE we went in. It's taken most people 8 years of debt, death and destruction to come around to that. Some (like McCain and Palin)still haven't.

As far as the surge argument goes, McCain doesn't understand the complexities of this war. He tries to oversimplify it, and just talks about "winning" and "losing." Even Gen. Petraeus says it's not something you will ever be able to call a "win." Even Petraeus agrees that the Sunni awakening and other factors preceeded the lowering of the violence. I believe there are also many Americans who don't even know that we are PAYING the Sunnis $300/month each NOT to fight. Al-Maliki and the Bush Adm. both agree now that we MUST have a pullout date, while McCain continues to find excuses to stay indefinitely.

I don't think McCain isnecessarily a bad person. My problem with him is that he seems to only be comfortable in "war mode." WE MUST LEARN HOW TO LIVE AND PROSPER IN PEACE. Obama is here to teach us.

You have it entirely BACKWARDS! We have been looking for a reason to vote FOR Obama - anti-Bush sentiment virtually guaranteed a Deocratic presidency... UNTIL they nominated an EMPTY SUIT... Please tell us all what qualification whatsoever Obama has? 143 days in the Senate - with nothing but ''present'' votes on anything close to a controversial topic... and the most ULTRA-LIBERAL voting record in the entire country, out of 100 Senators??? Give me a break - any middle-of-the-roader would have won this hands down... instead we have to try to justify voting for a guy who has NEVER even had a job, besides community organizer??? and then they the biased media have the nerve to question Sarah Palin's qualifications??? This country is heading down the toilet fast!!!'

  • Posted By: Bishnujee @ 09/14/2008 10:27:15 AM

People who still about Sarah Palin as being there role model Vice President must not forget her past which consists of drunken driving arrest, being mom to unwed daughter, firing the commissioner and lots of her mischievious past. She is just so big shame in being considered as VP Candidate for USA.People in public should be clean at least with some decent record.

This is one way the Dems spread the lies ti misinform people.
Just like in 2004 when Dems scared the Sr. citizens not to vote for Bush because he would cut Social Security benefits! I rest my case.

You need to get your facts straight. The DUI was her husband 22 years ago, you know back when Barack was doing cocaine and smoking pot and staying drunk all time on campus. Give me a break.

  • Posted By: MrsSimpson @ 09/14/2008 9:50:46 AM

I see the comments below which drives me to say something. We may have had a Republican President for the past eight years, but Congress is mainly Democrat. Congress is what decides on the policies. The President cannot change a thing if Congress doesn't vote it so. We need a Republican Congress. I feel that Obama is a great speaker, but his greatness ends there. If we get a Democrat Congress, and a Democrat President, America will be in great trouble. So yes, think long and hard when you go to the ballot box.

    • Posted By: littlemeow @ 09/14/2008 9:56:25 AM

Maybe I am wrong but I thought we were in IRAQ because of the president not the congress, this war has cost us greatly in the lives of our great men and women and trillions of dollars. I pray we bring our brave and honest soldiers home soon.

      • Posted By: Gaiusmarius @ 09/14/2008 12:12:14 PM

And to clarify. I am one of the soldiers that might be called upon to be in harm's way, and I would rather stay there until the job is done than run with my tail between my legs and have to GO BACK and do it again when the radicals wrest control of the nation and their oil fields.

      • Posted By: dumpthedems @ 09/14/2008 10:02:56 AM

We went to war with the full support of the majority of congress dems and repubs.

  • Posted By: sleonhardt @ 09/14/2008 9:20:00 AM

McCain /Palin ticket represents morality which is something this country has come to lack. Besides, it's not all about what these two people can do once in office, but how we can all come together with support and think about what is best for the coming generation.

    • Posted By: SEA Observer @ 09/14/2008 9:28:01 AM

Too bad there is only 50% American think like you. If we can get the other 50% off their "pot", off their "welfare", off "heir "save-the-tree---kill-the-baby", off their "look what the european's done" mentality then we would be all set for coming together, right???

      • Posted By: ritasee @ 09/14/2008 11:16:59 AM

Yeah, just like Bush was going to bring morality back to the White House, right? LOOK AT THE RECORD! Look over the past 8 years and all the filthy Republican scandals, senators going after house pages, Larry Craig and his feet under the bathroom stall escapade, and on and on and on!! MORALITY?? Your party has shown they know NOTHING about it except to hypocritically spout their so-called false "religious" beliefs! Liars and hypocrites!

        • Posted By: sleonhardt @ 09/14/2008 12:12:01 PM

Just like I said... to achieve morality, we must first embrace it, key word...embrace. We should not give in to perverted viewpoints and call them normal. Secondly, like I said...it's not about two people making the difference but BOTH parties supporting these moral issues.

General Petraeus: Iraq Doesn't Lend Itself to "Victory Slogan"

McCain and the Republican Press are the Ultimate [POW and Surge Pimps] Because they are the Greatest Whores they have in his Whore House and the Customer's are getting Tired and Weary of these Harlets and the Pimps who are Pimping them 24 hours a day !!

Its Desperate, because its the Very Best Whores, they have to Offer in the... Whore House !!
    ----------------------------------
    Source: The BBC NEWS

    Thu, 09/11/2008 -

McCain and the Republican Party are always touting the "Surge" & "Victory" and I for one am very Glad Patraeus made this statement...

Because it Dispells this Republican "Victory" Bull-Spit !!!

General David Petraeus will leave his post as commander of US troops in Iraq, taking over US Central Command. As the chief of Central Command, the four-star general will oversee the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

This week, General Petraeus discussed progress in Iraq and the possibility of victory. Check out these highlights from his interview with BBC, which airs tonight.

On whether US troops could withdraw from Iraq by the middle of next year: It's "doable."

On whether he will ever declare victory in Iraq:

"This is not the sort of struggle where you take a hill, plant the flag, and go home to a victory parade . . . it's not war with a simple slogan."

On his new role of overseeing Afghanistan at US Central Command: "The trends in Afghanistan have not gone in the right direction . . . and that had to be addressed." Afghanistan remains a "hugely important endeavor."

On progress made by the surge: Petraeus said that recent security gains were "not irreversible" and that the US still faced a "long struggle."

Provincial elections supposed to take place this year, but still waiting on parliamentary approval, will test stability in Iraq. If the Iraq war doesn't lend itself to the traditional notion of victory, how will the US know when it's time to leave?

What about voter fraud? Axelrod is close to Mayor Daly, who is a master of this Democrat maneuver.

Just as the DNC hoped, nobody is paying attention. No one is except those people that have united under Justsaynodeal.com. The Dem. primary just made me sick & their convention made me even sicker. So I watched the Republican convention & it was like a breath of fresh air. They even held a legitimate roll call.

It must pain the American press to see the election is deadlocked. Therefore, it's necessary for the corrupt lackey press to step up the attacks on McCain/Palin. Recent history has shown the press gave Obama the red carpet while carpet bombing Hillary....I'm sure the formula will still work....God Bless America

  • Posted By: josemarti @ 09/13/2008 8:26:12 PM

Hey you Upper West Side liberals. Put down that New York Times. Get in you car. Cross the GW. Find highway 80. Go west until you get to Chicago. Then get on 90 going north until you hit 94. Go through Minneapolis. Keep going to Fargo. Talk to Americans along the way and you will understand why McCain is going to win this election.

    • Posted By: danic @ 09/13/2008 8:46:05 PM

You need to drive back to 75 and drive into michigan and head to Detroit and you will see why Obama will win!

      • Posted By: deweyson @ 09/14/2008 12:09:47 PM

Yeah - Detroit where the city population is in major decline, the mayor is toast for corruption, jobs are scarce, and everybody is sitting around on their *** waiting for a GOVERNMENT SOLUTION - instead of doing something for themselves.... yep - make sure you stop in Detroit so you can witness the Democrat constituency, and decide if you want to JOIN THEM with more of the same...

  • Posted By: shell-ii @ 09/14/2008 11:17:49 AM

I for one have had enough of the crap. It is time for America to acknowledge who the majority really is. We are womem!! Politicians must stand in the middle of all issues to win an election. This means that they may have to reverse their orginal views. Their is nothing wrong with changing your mind, infact, I believe that a person who can admit making a mistake and correcting themselves is more real than than a person who presents themselves as infallible.
Washington must stop pretending that women only exist when election time comes around! One of the ways to force them to notice that we are the victims of their decisions is to elect a woman to the second most powerful office in the world.

    • Posted By: spinks @ 09/14/2008 11:42:29 AM

THE COMMENT ABOUT WOMEN FEELING EMPOWERED BECAUSE OF PALIN--I AM A WOMAN AND I HAVE NEVER BEEN MARRIED AND I AM NOT GAY-I HAVE MY OWN POWER , AND IT DID NOT COME FROM AN ELECTED OFFICIAL-GET A LIFE-PALIN IS A PHONY--TYPICAL REPUB......

      • Posted By: shell-ii @ 09/14/2008 12:08:49 PM

I am not a republican and like you I support myself very well. My point is that as the majority in a country that supports majority rule, we do not. I see nothing wrong with forcing politicians to realize who is paying their salaries. By doing so, we force them to deal with the issues that concern us.
