So how about CNN and Time I sincerely hope that they are considered reliable sources by neocon because it is sooooooooooooooooooooooo very important to me what this particular anonymous individual thinks LOL!

The Pain in Spain Falls Mainly on McCain
By Lisa Abend Thursday, Sep. 18, 2008

You gotta feel for José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero. Here the Spanish prime minister is only four months from an end to his government's strained relations with that of President George W. Bush and blam! ??? along comes John McCain to suggest the next four years might not be any better. During an interview in Miami earlier this week with Spanish-language station Union Radio, a reporter asked McCain whether, if elected, he would receive Zapatero in the White House. McCain answered, "Honestly, I have to analyze our relationships, situations, and priorities, but I can assure you that I will establish closer relationships with our friends, and I will stand up to those who want to harm the United States

Ouch. The question about Zapatero came after a series of questions on how McCain sees relations with Venezuela, Bolivia, and Cuba. He said he would not speak to Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez "without any sort of preconditions, as Sen. Obama has said he would," and said Chavez was "depriving his people of their democratic rights." He judged Bolivia's Evo Morales as "very similar" and similarly condemned Cuba's Raul Castro. When the questioner said, "Now let's talk of Spain" and asked whether he'd invite Zapatero, McCain responded with a vague statement that he would meet "with those leaders who are our friends" and then cited Mexican president Felipe Calderon as an example. The questioner tried several more times to steer the Senator back to a clear answer on Spain, but he never directly addressed it, saying: "What I would say is that my record is that of someone who has worked in a friendly atmosphere with those who are our friends and faced up to those who aren't."

    Republican congressman endorses Obama

Rep. Wayne Gilchrest, a maverick Republican from Maryland, endorsed Illinois Democratic Sen. Barack Obama for president in an interview Wednesday with WYPR, Baltimore's National Public Radio station.

Gilchrest, who lost a primary campaign and is retiring from Congress, has already endorsed the Democrat running for his seat, Frank Kratovil. Justifying his endorsement of Obama, Gilchrest said that "we can't use four more years of the same kind of policy that's somewhat haphazard, which leads to recklessness."

Obama and his running mate, Sen. Joe Biden (D-Del.), "have the breadth of experience. I think they're prudent. They're knowledgable."

Gilchrest's reference to prudence may be an allusion to a widely-circulated op-ed written by conservative David Brooks, who questioned whether Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin had the necessary wisdom and prudence.

    Chuck Hagel
    (R) suggested that Palin
doesn't have the foreign-policy experience to be president. "'She doesn't have any
foreign policy credentials,' Hagel said in an interview. 'You get a passport for
the first time in your life last year? I mean, I don't know what you can say. You
    can't say anything.'"
Check out this other Hagel line: "'I think they ought to be just honest about it
and stop the nonsense about, "I look out my window and I see Russia and so therefore
I know something about Russia,"' he said. 'That kind of thing is insulting to the
    American people.'"
And this one: "'I think it's a stretch to, in any way, to say that she's got the
experience to be president of the United States,' Hagel said."
    --------
    HAT TIP TO FIRST READ
    -------------
Palin is expected to meet with foreign leaders at the UN during the General Assembly, and she'll say, "Oh, I have got foreign experience credentials now that I have met and shook hands with heads of state!)

Iron Horse. If you are going to quote something, please quote in context. Right after the lines you quote is the following, " Hagel accompanied Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama to Afghanistan and Iraq in July and said he would have considered serving as Obama's running mate." So, that make anything he say's questionable. If you're going to cut and paste atleast be creditible.

Hey, WAKE UP! Look at what is going on here. Both of these guys keep telling us why the other guy shouldn't be president and pointing the finger at the other guy saying he's not good enough - he's lying', he has no experience, Neither one of these morons has stepped up and told us in detail why he should be POTUS. That to me says neither one is qualified. to be president of the US let alone a grocery store.

Democrats, Florida elections officials criticize GOP mailing

TALLAHASSEE ??? A new pitch for John McCain's presidential campaign aimed at older Democratic voters is causing complaints by Democrats and concern by elections officials.

The piece, paid for by the Republican National Committee and authorized by McCain, tells voters it is seeking to double-check their "unconfirmed" party affiliations while asking for money. A letter signed by McCain tells the Democrats: "We have you registered as a Republican."

"I was a little bit shocked and a little bit surprised," said recipient Bill Smith, 81, of Tampa, who calls himself a lifelong Democrat and has been registered at his current address since 2000. The retired plant engineer is one of about a dozen senior citizens that Democratic Party leaders identified as recipients, all of them longtime Democrats.

The RNC declined to discuss the mailer, which Democrats said has landed in five counties: Duval, Hillsborough, Collier, Miami-Dade and Escambia.

"This is simply a fundraising piece," said spokeswoman Amber Wilkerson, adding in an e-mail it was not "worth writing about."

    JUST SHADY !

In an article yesterday???s San Francisco Chronicle http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/n/a/2008/09/17/politics/p185733D40.DTL&type=politics the anointed one is quoted "Obama has tried to assure donors and voters that he's been schooled by Chicago politics." Yes he has, and let's look at the school he attended...We all know what Obama did as a community organizer in Chicago. He worked for ACORN. You know what ACORN is. It's an ultra-radical left-wing fraudulent voter registration operation that is caught routinely, frequently cheating, registering illegals, registering people multiple times. They've been a victim of lawsuits. That's who Obama worked for. That's Chicago thug politics, as described by Bill Clinton. And that's what he was doing in the community. He was learning from the bottom up, gutter Democrat Party politics.

With the news of the last couple day I believe it is important to note that BOTH candidates have taken large amounts of money from Wall St. In the top 40 donators list for both candidates which can be found at http://www.opensecrets.org I found that 6 major player on Wall St including several of the names in the news this week donated to the Obama campaign to the tune of $3,024,255. In the McCain campaign???s top 40 he had 10 from Wall St. for a total of $1,831,072.
It???s important to note the organizations themselves did not donate, rather the money came from the organization's PAC, its individual members or employees or owners, and those individuals' immediate families. Organization totals include subsidiaries and affiliates. Also that most of the companies hedged their bets and donated to both campaigns.
So, neither candidate can claim that their hands are clean with the bloodletting on the street, but Obama certainly has benefit more that his rhetoric would lead people to believe.

Panic in the Obama camp. Obama up only 6 points in his OWN state of Illinois. A hard working tax payer from Chicago said today: "We know you Barry. You have not done ........ for us. You became Senator and the next day started running for Presient."

      Concerned Ctzn -

Why do many of the obamabots regularly post their rants more than once on the same discussion board?

Are they so insecure in their opinion that they think (no, change that word to feel) that if they post the same rant more than once, it will somehow magically gain more validity and importance?

Do you have any rational reason for posting your 2 identical blogs within a 12 minute interval?

Are you demonstrating that the attention span of an obamabot is severely limited?

Obama is the biggest joke known to man and the sad thing is he has manage to fool millions of Americans, some of which is very smart and educated. I can't personally stand this guy for what he represents and that false promises and a fake character alone with personality. The American people both Democrats and Republicans (those who choose to back Obama) is flat out stupid and immature. I hate to use that word because it is not the way I think about my fellow countrymen and women but to follow this poor excuse of a candidate who is running for office on race and greed is just plain dumb. The main thing that make me very upset with Obama is how the media has linked this person with my culture, my history, and my roots when he knows nothing on what its like to be a Black American. Obama can never never go back 100 yrs and identify himself with a slave traveling to the new world on a slave ship, or he can never identify himself in the Re-Construction area whenBlacks begin to transform themselves into what we have today. It is time for the media, democrats and the American people to stop drooling over this lost soul and vote on experience, time served, and what is needed in our country, instead of a fad like Obama is. It just make me very ill and angry that this person has gotten so far this late in the election process.........America don't make this mistake, there is still time before damage is done.

I was going to say typical "black" guy cassenova, but that would have been stereotyping and we wouldn't want to do that to Senor Obama now would we?

I'm surprised that you would tell an Obama supporter to go to hell - Chicago's bad enough!

  • Posted By: bdhotwheel @ 09/18/2008 3:00:04 AM

Obama is a typical cassenova. He tickles the ear and tells people what they want to hear. He gets them to commit (getting them to bed) and then leaves in the morning (no good by's or I'll call you later) Just a one night stand one pump chump! That is what he will do to the American people. Just look at his track record.

OOOOOPPPPS! I WAS REFERRING TO MCCAIN SUPPORTERS, NOT OBAMA....

      Iron Horse -

There's HOPE for you yet, but first you must CHANGE!

Maybe that's what Obama really means when he promises HOPE and CHANGE - join the Republicans!

  • Posted By: bdhotwheel @ 09/18/2008 2:53:30 AM

Even the Hillary supporters are migrating to Palin and McCain. Talk about check mate! Fabulous move by the Reps. As an Independent, that was a move no one saw coming and it is sending the liberal median and Obama's camp in a furious frenzy to try and kick up dirt on her. They even hired hackers to try and see if they can find something in her personal emails. Now that's dirty! That is some TMZ stuff right there! Makes Obama's change look nasty that's for sure! Keep on showing your liberal colors and turning off the guys in the middle Obama! Dissing the Clinton's doesn't look so smart right now, huh?
