The woman cannot be all that bright a politician to have all of these scandals in the past. Interesting that they all seem to revolve around abuse of power or giving her big contributors favor over the citizens. She sounds like George W. Bush in a dress. It seems like a real dicotomy that she considers herself a religious person but allies herself with keeping bars open late and opposes discouraging drunken snowmobiling.

You should change the color of Newsweek to yellow and retitle it to: The Weekly World News according to Newsweek. Such would better reflect how low Newsweek has sunk!

There apprears to be "No controllling interest" in this. Leaders lead, winers wine. If you don't like who the leaders are or you think they have done something against their office impeach them, don't vote for them or recall them. Pilan's belief in abstinance as the ONLY way to prevent pregnancies didn't reach Bristol's brain. Some peope beleive Trig is Bristol's baby because she supposedly looked very pregnant when her mom was "supposed" to be pregnant! What leads me to believe this might hold truth is the fact that Sarah Pilan NEVER looked pregnant and did not announce "her" pregnance until the 7th month. Then, her water "breaks" in Texas, and she flies back to Alaska "in labor" yet, NOBODY SAW any signs of labor distress in Pilan, NOR did they see any sign of Sarah Pilan's pregnancy!! IF Bristol is Trig's mommy (Trig was born in April), then Bristol went out and got herself knocked up in late April - early May to be FIVE months pregnant in near mid September!! The Pilans pulled Bristol out of school for a long period of time before Trig was born---they claim she had meningitis?? You see, with Sarah Pilan telling so many whoppers, it is very easy to believe she is telling a whopper about who really is Trig's mommy!! Sarah Palin expects women to abstain from having sex; evidently she did not expect the same from her own daughter!! Let's remember the girl got pregnant at age 16 although she s now 17 and five months into her pregnancy. Perhaps Sarah was far too busy to have that mother-daughter talk with her.

The ex brother in law state trooper is accused of drinking and driving, poaching, and making death threats against Palin's family. Also, the Director of Public Safety Walt Moneghan who was fired foor poor job performance has now recanted and withdrawn his complaint. In other words, he was lying when he accused Palin of firing him for not firing her ex brother in law trooper. Nice of Newsweek to once again fairly report both sides of a story. Newsweek seems to be as biased as usual. Either the director was lying before or was not. If he has recounted, then he was lying. I personally think that tthe ticket of Obama and Biden will fail in its attempt to gain the Presidency and V.P. At lease they will win without my vote and as many others as I can influence. History is going to be made either way. A black presidece or a lady Vice President. If I had been to the border of Iraq and Kuait and someone said that I had not been to Iraq, then That is too nitpicking. You all keep talking about Ms. Palin and she will bring retroubution to you when she gets to be the Vice President of the USA.
