I do not like Republi-czars. I don't like Demon-crats. The ex-pat Noblinders blogged earlier that with all that is going on in the world today we have the stupidity to sit here and talk about lipstick on a pig. Lets review. Our roads and bridges are falling apart across the country. Millions are in danger of losing their homes due to the credit crunch. Starting in 2017 social security will pay out more than we put in and within 20 years after that will be broke. Our health care sytem is overwhelmed. Our judicial sytem is broken and for years has favored the criminal. Our soldiers are dying in a country that no longer wants us there while terrorists continue to plot against us in the country that we should be in. We complain about illegal aliens yet in our hypocrisy have no problem eating the food on our table every night of which 80% of it is picked by those illegals. We worship and idolize movie stars and sports athletes while abandoning our elderly in nursing homes to die alone and in fear. We literally pour money in to other countries that hate our guts while American cities sit in ruins after being devastated by natural disasters. Our politicians on both sides are bought and paid for by special interests. Your vote no longer matters. Demon-crats and Republi-czars. Mirror images staring at each other through the looking glass. Our civilian population either follows one side or the other like lemmings off a cliff or have become apothetic to the point of being morally bankrupt. We are Nero playing his fiddle while Rome burns. We are the decadent who are dying and decaying. The moth that flies furiously around the flame until it is extinguished in one bright, pyrrhic moment of insanity. Within 30 years we will no longer exist as a nation. We are done. We had a good run while it lasted. It almost worked. That simple idea of "We the People".. Except that we the people couldn't get it right. Eventually everybody wanted a slice of the pie yet no one wanted to share. It is now all about me, me, me. Give me something for nothing. Black against white against brown. Liberal against conservative. Rich against poor. Everyone out for themselves. We had our chance. We blew it. It's now time to face the music.

just what the United States needs another politician coming to washington with anything but a stellar background. We do not need any more controversy in our White House. Where are the really great leaders in this country. Palen stay in Alaska where you can't screw up our great nation

One other thing. I do not mind at all Newsweek printing this story as the bias the other
way has been so obvious for months.
Mccain, and now palin have gotten a free ride for too long.
Did you happen to see the so called religious debate between Obama and
Mccain? Even before finding out there was a possibility that it could have
happened I felt that Mccain had access to the questions prior to his
appearance, answering questions before the were asked etc.. This was
completely ignored, covered up by the media as with many of his distortions,
lies. If that question had concerned Obama it would have been the
headlines for days.
So, no, I do not feel bad at all about Palin being brought to task. It is past
time for the media to do the job they are expected to do.

I have begun to wonder if McCain chose her so he would lose the election. After all look at the mess that needs to be cleaned up. He might be hoping the democrats can muddle through but still fail miserably. Then in 4 years the republicans can swoop in and save the day for America.

At least I hope that's his plan.

Thanks to the media, maybe the voters of America will have a chance to see what this woman is all about and that is corruption. She's not qualified to be VP, GOV or even MAYOR of a small town.
She had a special needs baby 4 months ago, but it looks like attending to baby Trig has taken a back seat to her own ambition.
For most working mothers, given her circumstances, taking on a huge and life consuming challenge like running for VP, would be the last thing she would want to add to her plate.
McSame made a bad decision choosing her, and McFailin' made a bad decision in accepting the offer.

Another factoid for the spin masters to hopefully help them understand we are not all fools on the democractic side. Sarah Palin received all of her earmarks as mayor and as the govenor of Alaska from none other than the most crooked Senator in the Senate. Ted Stevens! Yeah I think republicans are familiar with him because he is more than likely on his way to prison. He accepted big bucks from a company called VESCO located in Alaska. Sarah Palin has also accepted contributions from VESCO. So here we haved precious Sarah connected with one of the most sneaky senators every to occupy the Senate.

She actually touts herself as a reformist please give me a break. The one thing she is good at is abadoning ship before the sh** hits the fan. Like she did with her extreme church that she left earlier this year. I guess that is a Palin family trait because her husband made a time exit from the Alaska Independence Party you remember the one that wants to make Alaska an independent state separate from the U.S.

Yep thats all we need is anti-government and anti-american extremists in the White House.

As usual the republican spin masters try to mislead the public. The poaching incident you referred to actually went a little something like this. The trooper while still married to Palin's sister was headed down river in a boat with Palin's sister. They saw a moose and the sister who had the rifle initially along with a tag allowing her to shoot the moose would not take the shoot. She passed the rifle to her trooper husband who did take the shoot and killed the moose. They then took the moose to Sarah Palin's fathers house who promptly slaughtered the moose. Sarah Palin received a leg quarter from the slaughtered moose and her father also received some of the poached moose. Then after the divorce between the trooper and Palin's sister they reported the moose as being poached. How underhanded is that you take part of the moose and you know full well how and why the trooper was the one who killed the moose. Yet you still fill this bogus report against the trooper after the divorce. Yep that sounds like something a republican would do.
