    Do you know that every man, woman, and child that lived ina Alaska for 1 year received $3,200 this month fror last year's oli revenues? This money came from the Alaskan state tax on oil produced up there. The Palin's received over $19,000 based on a family of 6 (at the time).

    Do you think that a state tax of "up to 75% profits based on a $25 per barrel" might add to our gas prices in the lower 48?

          Firstly I have automated systems that trade for me and secondly as I've said MANY times I trade foreign currencies! Traders didn't cause this mess Congress did (both republicans and democrats) and mainly all the dead beat Americans who walked away from their responsibilities and didn't pay their mortgages!

        Let me get this straight.....if you fire someone for not carrying out your policies there is something nefarious involved that requires millions of taxpayer dollars to investigate, and should automatically disqualify you from sitting in the Senate to cast a tie-breaking vote - should one ever be needed. But if you hang out with someone that says "God damn America" or if you hang out with someone that advocates the bombing of American institutions and the killing of police officers, or if you hang out with someone considered to be a slumlord (and even go as far as entering into a questionable land deal with that person) and a convicted felon, none of this should speak to your character and judgement.

        Yeah Mayor and Governor is sure a lot more experience than COMMUNITY ORGANIZER, what a joke of a job. You can't give Obama credit for his Senator position since he voted PRESENT to every important vote and in the US Senate was always running for President. He has no real experience at all!

    It's not enough that Palin lied right out of the gate about her "killing the bridge to nowhere" - and she continues with the lie unblushingly - she knows nothing of national or international policy matters. She's secretive (using unsecure, private e-mail accounts to transact state business); contemptuous of cooperating with the bipartisan Troopergate scandal NOW that she's McCain's Veep (and what business, by the way, is it of McCain's campaign to stick their noses into this affair?); and woefully ignorant of the most basic matters (the "Bush doctrine"). In addition, she's petty and mean-spirited when it comes to those she favors or disfavors politically. We've been seeing this since the GOP convention.
    This was McCain's pick? This was his first "presidential" decision? I suspect it arose more from caving into the hard right who still control the GOP, as well as to hopes that he could pick off disaffected Hillary supporters. Whatever, it was an egregious decision and indicative of the knee-jerk, overarching impulsiveness of this man.
    This past week has not only confirmed that Palin was a weak pick (note the favorables/unfavorables), but also has revealed more examples of the McCain impulsiveness that led to it. Crankily trying to find his footing in the financial crisis, he proposed everything from firing Christopher Cox to blaming the crisis on Obama. He's almost as embarassing and dangerous as Bush, his new-found GOP sweetheart.

    Do you know that every man, woman, and child that lived in Alaska for 1 year received $3,200 this past year for Alaska's oil production revenues? This money came from the Alaskan state tax on oil. The Palin's received over $19,000 based on a family of 6 (at the time).

    Do you think that a state tax of "up to 75% profits based on a $25 per barrel" might add to our gas prices in the lower 48?

We are now as taxpayers being asked to not only bail Lehman Brothers, Fannie and Freddie out, Obama did not take public money????? Wish he had and not have left us with this Pelosi-Reid driven mess! Even with the goods against her - the videotapes recording her pushing for the bridge - she still lies. The, of course, there is the recent refusal to comply with the investigation into Troopergate, an investigation she initally embraced and pledged to cooperate fully with. Forget that she knows nothing about foreign affairs ("Gee, you can see Russia from an Alaska island...") and doesn't even know the percentage of energy Alaska provides for our country (She said 20%; actually, it's 3.), she is not only incompetent, but she's also very dangerous and surely unqualified for the vice-presidency, not to mention the presidency.
