Following your logic then the tax saving under Bush would have been seen by the consumer in the cost of goods, right? The tax saving would mean the bosses would have given raises, right? If the rich are happy the poor would be willing to spend more, right? Wrong, three strikes the Republicans are out.

Tax savings just mean the rich get richer and everyone's live stays the same. I've seen how some of the poor live and I could not imagine that it would be by choice. I give but I know only 10% actually makes it to the people that need it.. How is the government suppose to pay to get the potholes filled, with their good looks? The people need a place to go to when you don't have enough to get food? If my taxes help at least I know it reachs more people than my donations do.

I replay the republican national convention once in a while just to look at the body language of the people celebrating at republican party. I laughed when I saw McCain passed Palin's daughter, he looked at her as if she made him lose the election. I saw how different ethnic groups were having a great time and the look they receive from fellow republicans and I could almost imagine what they were thinking... VOTE and GET OUT...

Actually Fran- Palin and company alleged that Trooper Wooten abused his wife after the fact. His former wife did not call the police and say I was just beat up, nor did her family members call the police. The best time to press a case of abuse is when it happens, not months or years later. There was an investigation into allegations and Wooten was suspended while the investigation took place. If they would have found any evidence of Wooten doing what he was accused of they would have taken action. Secondly, in all my years of living in Alaska I always found the State Troopers to be a professional law enforcement agency that held its members to high standards. Third, the police chief that Palin fired was a well respected law and order kind of guy. He worked for the Anchorage Police Department for 22 years, working his way up to Captain before retiring and taking the police chief position in Wasilla. He had the task of starting a police department where none existed and from all reports, did an admirable job. The man Palin handpicked to succeed Chief Stambaugh did indeed institute a policy to charge women who alleged sexual assault being perpetrated against them for the evidence that was collected, i.e. the rape kit charged to them.. As a nurse, you have surely seen women who have been raped. Do you really think they should have to pay for the evidence to be collected from their bodies? Do you know that Alaska specifically passed a law to stop Palin and her chief from collecting from victims? How would you like to have a burglary in your home and have to pay for the police to come and collect evidence such as fingerprints or crime scene pictures? Same difference, just with a woman the crime scene is her body. There are so many other issues about Palin, including her lying about what she has done. I am way too familiar with the politics in Alaska and way too familiar with Palin herself. No way should this woman be a heartbeat away from the presidency.

Being Governor of the state of Alaska (population of over 673,000) for two years is experience. What is the population of Deleware where Joe Biden is from? If you don't know, it's just under 2,000.
