Obama has been riding the coat tails of his fellow Senator's. He has NEVER created nor introduced his own bill in the Senarte. He one of those individuals that has sat back and let everyone else do the work and when to work of others was a success he immediately jumped to the front of the class and says "look at what I have accomplished". He has done nothing.

Good grief, Sheryll; how in the round world did you get this story so screwed up? Former Wasilla Police Chief Stambaugh had nothing to do with Palin's ex-brother-in-law, who was, and still is, an Alaska State Trooper. AST is a state agency; whereas, WPD is a municipal one.

This "Trooper-gate" story has become so twisted and distorted by media and bloggers that it little resembles the original charges - and, in particular, with regards to the 'tasering' incident. "Taser" - the word itself elicits a horrified "ooh" res[onse. Fear and ignorance will getcha, every time. I'm going to step out on a limb and say that the incident was less harmful than alot of activities that parents engage in with their children on a daily basis. For example, did you know that the unit was a training tool, used to teach officers on its use? Did you know that the trooper's step-son asked for a demo to see what it felt like, and did you know that the training tool was set to its lowest test setting when administered, and did you know that the boy and the family thought it was fun, and the boy asked to do it again? Did you know that the family didn't think it was at all dangerous until after the marriage disintegrated and the bitter custody battle got underway?

You should probably also know about the illegal moose hunt, too; that, it was a legal hunt until Palin's sister decided that she didn't want to shoot the moose and had her trooper husband shoot it for her. You won't get an argument from me, that Wooten should have known better than to shoot without his own permit; in retrospect, he might have realized that the wife was setting him up for the later acrimonious divorce. The ridiculous thing about the matter is how the family took the moose home to Wooten's in-law's garage, dressed and butchered the meat, and the entire family, Palin included, proceeded to eat the evidence.

The question begs to be asked: If Palin had such righteious indignation over her brother-in-law's infractions, WHY didn't she turn him in then, insteaf of waiting a couple of years when her sister's marriage went to hell in a hen basket? Also, for all the ugly press that the trooper has received, can anyone explain how the only complaints against Trooper Wooten have come from the Palin/Heath families?

There is a lot more to the Palin character than has been revealed to the nation. There are plenty of us in Alaska who are still blown away that Palin was even considered for the VP candidacy. After a couple of weeks with the Washington drill seargents, she has emerged as a tool of "the Establishment" - an irony,, considering her frequent claims of reform and getting rid of "the good ole boy" system. You people who have been sucked in by her expertly delivered scripted speeches have no idea what you're blindly adoring.

The more That comes out about Palin a pattern is developing, Deceit, lies about the bridge and earmarks, and it would seem a somewhat vengeful bebehavior. Have you read while she was home sending her son off to war, she gave a campaign speech. Turns out there were more folks picketing against her in front of the library in her home town than were at her campaign speech. Why isn't the press picking up on that?

Let's focus on the fact that she's never left the country and doesn't even own a passport (even though she has both Russia and Canada right at her "doorstep" as the Republican's like to say).

Or the fact that she couldn't even answer simple foreign policy questions in her interview despite having weeks to study.

Or the fact that runs a state smaller than most cities (population....not size), and she's been running it for about as long as Obama has been running for president.

Or the...well you get the idea.

Don't take the bait....stick to the issues and the case is closed.

Speaking of EDUCATION.......John McCain graduated from the Naval Academy, with little more than a degree in hand saying he "met the requirements", In HIS own words, he jacked off and did not study, Sarah Palin had to go to "5 COLLEGES" to get a degree!!!!! A "4" year degree in WHAT, Journalism? Obama has a LAW DEGREE from COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY!!!! Hell, even his WIFE has a LAW DEGREE..... And Joe Biden? He TOO has a LAW DEGREE!!!!
