    I am a Pro Choice republican but even I draw the line at babies who are BORN! Obama wants to kill them, where doctors strangle the babies that are born alive during abortions. Pretty disgusting stuff, even for a Democrat to believe in!

    Folks, Palin is clearly a Female version of George Bush.

    She's been hand picked as someone who will play on your fears and appeal to your sense of everyday values. That is understandable, but the sad truth is McCain/Palin represent the republican party thats been taken over by short sighted crooks that really do not have the best interests of the country at heart.

    McCain/Palin will push to keep sending trillions to the middle east in oil money while continuing to fight the war causing thousands of soldiers and others to die while spending $150+ billion a year. They'll also continue to enable the dollar to lose value. You have to understand the price of oil, value of the dollar, loss of US jobs, spending in Iraq and not investing in domestic energy are all connected and leading to the economic meltdown of today.

    Palin believes 9/11 was caused by Iraq. Palin believes endangered species don't matter. Palin believes war with Russia is a reasonable option.

    You know better. You deserve better. Make sure you listen to the truth and go beyond your fear.

    Palin is very attractive with a great personality and great for Alaska. However, she had no idea what Charlie Gibson was talking about when he asked her some more intelligent questions about the economy, foreign policy and global warming and that was SCARY. She does not understand foreign policy/cultures/politics, complex economical issues, healthcare or science in general (what's global warming, it don't exist ya'll). Both republican and democratic strategists/reporters stated she is being "tutored" in these areas and quickly educated to "understand" these things. You're all comfortable with someone in a very powerful position who does not have the intellect to grasp these concepts? Good luck to us.

    i remember when hilary tried everything to knock obama down even the kitchen sink and it did not work! now the obama camp is trying everything including the kitchen sink on palin and its not working ! she gets bigger crowds at her rallies and he gets small ones his ego is crushed and he is worried that he will lose the white house ! and he should be !     as history suggests issues of policy will ultimately trump the politics of identity. obama is all about who he is and nothing about what he has done ! McCain is all about what he has done not who he is ! the choice is clear !

    Truman was an abysmal president. When he left office his approval ratings were even lower than Bush. Only years later did people begin to romanticize his presidency. Even his much lauded decision to use the bomb was terrible one. Anyone else who killed hundreds of thousands of civilians would be called a terrorist. He had several other options including dropping the bomb in a less densly populated area. It is a myth that the Japanese would have never surrendered without the bomb. Many higher ups in Japan were already making contacts with the US to broker a peace deal but Truman wanted to slaughter thousands to show Stalin how powerful he was. He was an ignorant haberdasher closely rivaled in his provinciality and ignorance only by George W Bush and Sarah Palin. (McCain is not much better). Ignorance breeds war. Don't buy into Republicans war is peace and ignorance is strength Orwellianisms that they are trying to sell.

    It is difficult to understand Obama???s claim to ???good judgment.??? When has any modern major party presidential nominee so frequently changed his positions on so many important issues or blamed his staff for so many problems? If Obama can???t consistently hold positions on important issues, how can he claim that he has such good judgment? Possibly Obama can come up with some other way of showing "good judgment," but so far he hasn't succeeded using the standards that he wants to be judged by.

    This woman is no Harry Truman. He had the wisdom to feel daunted by the assumption of the Presidency.

    The NY Times has just confirmed what has been buzzing around the progressive media for some time. She's hires friends and fires those who disagree with her. Under her bright, folksy facade she has a penchant for secrecy. I don't want another person in the White House who not only doesn't believe in transparency, but inquires about the means to undermine it.

    Palin like Truman? Let's certainly hope that she's not like Truman in the respect that he became president when FDR died in office. Actually, she strikes me as a lot more like George W. Bush in this article:
