Nice try, Idoit leftist journalists. All you demonstrate here is your fear of a thoughtful and hard-working conservative female. She's really got you guys in a panic. It's so obvious, and you don't think it shows. We read you now for light humor and nothing more. PLEASE, do keep it coming. We're saving it for later..

Who is tthe person that wrote this article. I would not put Sarah Palin on the Supreme Court or even a municipal court. If Senator McCain had been serious about picking a woman as his VP nominee, he should have picked Senator Huchtison of Texas, Senator Collins of Maine, even Secretary of State Rice.

I would imagine this article was written by someone who did not attend high school in the United States. The author suggests you have to be from Washington, D.C. to be an effective V.P. I assume Bill Clinton was not an effective president since he was not from D.C. Also, the author finds it odd that Sarah Plain upon election as governor tried to fire her opponents. Gee, wasn't it Harry Truiman who according to David McCullough proudly practiced partisan politics and believed - to the winners goes the spoils.

But hey, I am not from D.C. I am from St. Louis - how could I know.

Sarah Palin more or less earned a journalism degree after six years in a string of mediocre colleges. In what way does this qualify her to a seat on the Supreme Court? As far as we know, she has not even read the Constitution. You, lady, are out of your freakin' mind.

I think you have a valid point. Palin, a woman that is all american, god fearing, and righteous in her determination to do whats best for this great country, should be on the supreme court and be president. She is the only honest politician I have ever seen. God has sent her out of the northern lands to clean up the evil in washington, to stop all murder of the on born, to teach our children pray and the bible, stop for once and for all those Russians and Arabs, and send all the Jews back to Isreal. Tremble in her quake you liberal scum, you Ivy league silver spooners, its time for some reckoning. Go Palin Go. I love u.

This Poster, is a prime example of what is wrong with this country. While good Americans of mixed heritage suffer because of poor education, lack of affordable healthcare, and climbing household expenses, this poster is full of hate and ill feelings towards his brothers and sisters. Where in the Bible, does it say to "hate"?? Perhaps you should look over your shoulder, look around and see who your neighbors are.

"Wipe the [A]rabs off the face of this [E]arth,""[I]vy [L]eague scum,""I will follow you. Your servant"? I'm glad to see how the "enlightened and educated" folk like mattbad33 and ELITISTbama are still following the neoconservative Republicans as they wave the flag and God in your face, then steal your rights and money, while you jump up and down believing your prayers have been answered.

Calling mainstream media liberal is just another Karl "Marx?" Rove trick used to blind simpletons into believing their own righteousness. The liberal media is seldom heard. Enough smoke and mirors from these people. My interpretation of the article is that Sarah Palin is a sham.

Heaven help us if palin were to be appointed and confirmed as a Supreme Court Judge. What is Lithwick thinking?. Palin has a B.A in Jouranlism, she has no experience in law, let alone national politics, nor has her experience shown that she is capable of working with people. Lithwick should focus on writing stories about School Carnivals and Middle School sporting events and leave true journalasism and editorial comments to those with an understanding of todays pertinent issues and experience.

Keep the venom comming guys. The obama faithful are soaking it up, and you are definitely offending the republican faithful.

The really good news is tthat this kind of one sided spin/hatchet job is not being bought by the remaing few voters that have not made up their minds yet. I am not one of them. For years I have been regularly angered by the liberal media's one sided representation of what they would like the truth to be.

Its fun to think that you have been vanquished by a woman of non-ivy leag education, with five kids from a small town in a sparsely populated state.

But the reality is that you have done it to yourselves, and you keep doign to yourselves, and you can't help yourselves. You have lost your power.

Your buddy Obama is going to have to do it without you.

    Boy that feels good!

It happens that I'm not familiar with Ms. Lithwick's writing or her political views, so I found it fascinating that I could not tell from reading this article whether it was written by a Koolade drinking conservative or was meant as brilliant piece of satire highlighting what an irresponsible decision McCain made in his VP pick. Too bad. I used to respect the Senator. But after what he's done in this campaign, it's clear that he'll do and say anything he can to win. This is no longer a man with any claim of honor.

God has sent Palin to clear washington of all its evil, to stop the murder of the unborn, to teach the children the holy bible and pray, and wipe the arabs off the face of this earth. In time you liberal press will quake in fear , all you ivy league scum. Palin is an American hero. We love you Palin...god bless you, you are truly righteous. I will follow you. Your servant.

I hope that she gets a chance to clean house in Washington D.C. one of these days. 80% approval ratings are astounding. It sounds to me as though the Wasilla and Alaska houses needed to be cleaned and that she had the courage to do it.

    Is this a parody article??

"She knows that if a court gets it wrong, you just build a better court"... by firing people who don't agree with you and putting puppets and parrots in?

Might as well just abolish the court system and save the tax payers the salaries they get to repeat what ever Palin tells them to say. I can't believe this rejected Orwellian opinion was published.. in Newsweek no less!

  • Posted By: ELITISTbama @ 09/13/2008 9:29:22 PM

Actually wouldnt hurt for an army of Palin's to be appointed editors of radical leftists magazines, newspapers and tv networks. How literally biased the MSM media is has become so transparent these days. Too much *** for my taste, but I am sure there are those that relish the stuff. Enjoy.

Actually, if elected Maverick McCain would no longer be beholden to his "agents of intolerance" and would probably nominate his great friend, Joe Lieberman, to the Supreme Court. The vice president has no power in the process. Rather than pouring money into the McCain campaign, the process leading up to the Palin pick should have caused religious conservatives to run from the McCain/Palin ticket in fear.
