Sarah Palin is NOT a representative of what women want. She is the antiwoman movement because her personal beliefs would be a complete reversal of women's rights. She is a scary combination of bringing home the bacon that she shot, giving birth, governing a state, but using her power in deceptive practice. She is NOT a role model for women that I would be proud of. I was not pro-Obama, but I am now ANTI-Palin. VOTE DEMOCRAT and save the FEMALE GENDER!

The roots of liberalism ??? and its associated madness ??? can be clearly identified by understanding how children develop from infancy to adulthood and how distorted development produces the irrational beliefs of the liberal mind. When the modern liberal mind whines about imaginary victims, rages against imaginary villains and seeks above all else to run the lives of persons competent to run their own lives, the neurosis of the liberal mind becomes painfully obvious.

I don't think you mentioned that NEWSWEEK Poll showed 67%, or 69%, of women polled didn't realize Palin is against abortions after rape or incest. Just imagine, in a McCain-Palin administration, since she told Charlie Gibson /ABC that she would support McCain in reversing Roe v Wade If you or, god forbid, your daughter was raped by a serial rapist/even murderer there would be no available legal abortion. Your daughter would have to live with the trauma and horror of the rape every day for nine months, then give birth to the criminal's baby. That's monstrous.

Under Palin we'd go back to dangerous backstreet illegal abortions and young women dying. Wait until the 30% of Hillary supporters and other thinking female Democrats find that out. In fact, stunningly, Palin supports Government control over a women's reproductive rights BUT, because the National Rifle Association supported her election (today's New York Times), she is against Government control of a gun owners' rights! They have absolutely BOTH said, on record, they'd reverse Roe v Wade. Does everyone realize the implication of this - reversing what our feminist sisters, including Hillary Clinton, have fought for.

She's also a hypocrit. She's with Bush-McCain against spending on sex education for teens and ardently promotes "abstinence". However, neither she or her daughter respected abstinence. As you heard on CNN last night, she eloped with Tod Palin and less than eight months later delivered her full-term baby boy. Bristol just followed Mom's example - - both living examples that in the 21st century abstinence does not work In the 8 years of Bush, with no sex ed budgets only preaching about abstinence, US teen pregnancies have grown so much we're now #1 in the world. Here again, she'd enforce abstinence only education on other women's kids, depriving them of proper preventive education, but she the rules didn't apply either to her or her daughter and her daughter and baby father were paraded around the convention like celebrities. Whereas there was a big brouhaha when Jamie Lyn Spears got pregnant vs the pure and virginal she played on TV and how she had disapointed her young viewers.

Palin lives by double standards. Once EVERY THINKING AMERICAN women gets news of Palin's disregard for women's rights, vs her support of gun owners' rights, and her hypocrisy over her anti-sex education/pro abstinence platform.....only the true right wing evangelicals or neocons should be left in her camp.
She ain't no Hillary Clinton, no way. Hillary was genuinely, actively and devotedly PRO WOMEN and protective of our reproductive rights. But she is a terrific George Bush. Today the NYT, after many interviews conducted in Alaska, suggests there's a whole other persona in play that is not the carefully crafted public one we've been served up so far by camp McCain. Why is it that the media - Carlie Gibson - absolutely refused to ask Palin about her wonderful understanding of energy issues/ There have been some amazing things she has done on the energy front that will help us with a very important issue. She is the one of the 4 who is an absolute expert. She has done the work and done a great job. Why can't the stupid bloggers get us a real news story on energy? This is something that will help with the economy, etc. Why - because Obama - Biden has no understanding of real change while Sarah Pallin does. Shame on the meida.

How does Palin represent Feminism. She only speaks when she's told. She's not allowed to voice her true political stances. I'm one FEMALE Republican that WON'T be voting for McCain, now that he picked SarahPalin. Sarah Palin is an opportunist who knows how to pose for the cameras at the right place at the right time. We've all worked with someone like this. All style, no substance.

Seriously, is Palin the best female candidate the Republican Party could offer? I think most progressive and educated women hopefully will dismiss Palin and see her for what she really is: Eye candy with good communication skills! I'm a woman. Call ME sexist. I don't care.

But a heartbeat away from being President of the United States? There are so many more qualified men and women. As a woman, I'm insulted for anyone who would fall for this nonsense. The press needs to do their job and analyze her and her record without fear of being labeled sexist.

Word is going to get out about what an extremist Palin is. She makes Cheney look like a moderate. She opposed abortion EVEN IN THE CASE OF RAPE OR INCEST. That's downright scary. Oh, you're gay?
