Wow, the Bush Administration is doing just what Obama has been saying. Tap into the oil strategic reserve. Now they did it. Once again, Obama was right.

Obama raised 66 million for the month of Aug. Do you really think that McCain can win? McCain better win Ohio or else he is toast. After hearing Sarah Palin on ABC News, I think people will know that Palin cannot lead this country. Also,on the news, they said after the Sarah Palin's interview, Obama has taken the lead with Independence voters. It is still a close race.

McCain raised 5 million in 5 hours in Chicago, Obama's stomping grounds. What does that translate over a month? Not to mention that he raised over 40 million the couple of weeks after Palin.

I see. Have you ever hear of FOB, or "FFriends of Bill"?

McCain said when he becomes President, he will hire only the rich so that he can pay them 1 dollar. Have you seen who these people are? One work for a big oil company and the rest are lobbyist. I really don't understand that.

Also, you really need to see how many schools Sarah Palin went to before she received her B.A. 7 schools. This is probably why she left Wasilla in debt.

This year, Palin, who has been governor for nearly 22 months, defended earmarking as a vital part of the legislative system. ???The federal budget, in its various manifestations, is incredibly important to us, and congressional earmarks are one aspect of this relationship,??? she wrote in a newspaper column.

In 2001, McCain???s list of spending that had been approved without the normal budget scrutiny included a $500,000 earmark for a public transportation project in Wasilla. The Arizona senator targeted $1 million in a 2002 spending bill for an emergency communications center in town ??? one that local law enforcement has said is redundant and creates confusion.

McCain also criticized $450,000 set aside for an agricultural processing facility in Wasilla that was requested during Palin???s tenure as mayor and cleared Congress soon after she left office in 2002. The funding was provided to help direct locally grown produce to schools, prisons and other government institutions, according to Taxpayers for Common Sense, a nonpartisan watchdog group.

Funny that she made those comments about earmarks this year. She is so fake.

Except that Palin never said she went to Iraq, but Kuwait.

I guess women like Sharenews who feel that voting for McCain will accomplish something is wrong. I guess if you live in Wasilla and you get raped, you better have the money to pay for your rape kit, cause thats what Sarah palin wanted for the women in Wasilla.
Also please remember that Sarah Palin was a member of the AIP....Even though many McCain supporters say different. Her husband and son are still members and you do have to question her love for this Country. I'm also waiting for MSNBC to play a video of McCain saying that Sarah Palin was part of the corruption because she took so much earmarks.

The Republican Party once again lied about Sarah Palin.

Sarah Palin did not visit troops in Iraq, a spokesperson for the Republican vice presidential nominee confirmed Saturday, as new details emerged about the extent of the Alaska governor's foreign travel.

Palin is fascism disguised in a pretty face. Fall for it if you want

  • Posted By: junkmail7 @ 09/14/2008 9:29:29 AM

The NEWSWEEK Poll shows few think she is properly qualified???nor do they know what her views are???but that her popularity abides regardless. For now. "What really frightens me about Sarah Palin is, they're using her gender in a powerful way and a radical way," says Naomi Wolf, the feminist author who advised Al Gore in 2000. "She's pressing every single button that says 'working-class white woman'." Women candidates like Hillary Clinton had an "Ivy League gloss." Not Palin. "But it's a very superficial button when you look at the gamut of what women with small children can do as fronts of the wrong policy."
    ______________________________________________________________________________________

And that Newsweek is why you simply haven't a clue as to what you're talking about.

Ferrarro is off the mark. Winning is wining and when women really want to make a splash they will go the distance and get behind a woman because of character, judgement, determination, spirit, and wisdom, and leave all the ideological bullshit in the trash where it belongs.

It is Palin??s extremist views that put me off. As a woman, who has always believed that men are equal to women, I still do not want a female wingnut in the Whitehouse. Anti-abortion even in cases of rape or incest, pro Iraq war = God??s war, anti stem cell research, anti environment, believes in creationism, caught already after 2 weeks in numerous lies or distortions, What are the issues she would like to take on as VP? Health care, don??t know, she didn??t mention? What are HER passions for the things she would like to accomplish as VP? She comes across as overly confident and ambitious, ready to spout the McCain camp??s scripted replies or speeches coupled with an extremely narrow world view and though having a history of being street smart in bullying to get what she wants, not too smart in knowledge of world affairs, or domestic affairs, for that matter.

WASILLA, Alaska ??? Gov. Sarah Palin lives by the maxim that all politics is local, not to mention personal.

I don't see how Sarah Palin referring to herself as a pitbull with lipstick, essentially calling herself a b*tch, is supposed to be empowering to women and mothers. I come from a long line of strong women and we do not equate ourselves with animals. Palin referring to herself as a pitbull with lipstick says nothing about herself as a woman. It says something about her character-- or lack thereof.

what a woman really wants is a right to her own body, her own life. Its not ok not to teach children about condoms the world is full of aids and sexually transmitted diseases. I don't feel comfortable with someone who is ok invading other countries when what we need to be focused on is finding the terrorists responsible for the 9/11 attacks. Its not ok for a woman to embrace the issues and doctrines of men who treat women like second-clas citzens.

    • Posted By: cowen123456 @ 09/14/2008 12:48:14 AM

What kind of woman are you if the only issues you considered are relating to your body, your condom and sexual transmitted diseases? ever heard of equality? you're allowed to consider other issues like values, security, economic, energy, infrastructure building, education and such....

Someone need to send Palin the all important memo stating the policy on who is allowed to run in a general election.

A woman, wife, mother of five, without foreign policy experience is not qualified to run for VP. However, if you are a man, husband, father of two, without foreign policy experience and executive experience then you are qualified to run for the presidency, vp, senator or whatever else position pleases you.

If you have any concerns about these policy, Campbell Brown and the CNN bunch are happy to drive the policy point home for you.

Why odd that we would go from Seneca Falls to Sarah Palin Julia Baird? Because Sarah Palin doesn't agree with you? The intolerance of the Obama-BIden Democrats for anyone who disagrees with them amazes me. Liberal isn't the right label. They are extremists.

What women want? Give us something new. This is all we EVER consider and it is sexist, gender biased, and OLD.
