Afghans are great people. I am serving in Afghanistan Now. Recently, Taliban overran a police station and executed 8 of them shot in the back of the head. They recently decapitated an Imam who did spoke out against them. The Afghans like us and are way more friendly once they know who we are. They still have a bittler memory of how the Russians treated them. I have shown the Afghans at my PRT the movie " The Beast" and they say the language, customs and atrocities shown in this 1989 movie were true. So when you anti-americans whine about us and NATO being here, open up your eyes and see we are doing a good thing. Its the brainwashed Saudi Wahabi-thinking, Sauid Paid and build Madressas in Pakistan and elsewhere in the Moslem World that are convincing many Taliban that are "going to heaven" after killing their own people and coalition forces. I am sure they will see that their paradise does not have any virgins left but just painful emptiness. The Koran does not endorse killing other Muslims yet they are anyways because the Koran is taught to the young ones who, for the most part, do not read or write Arabic and so the Imam can give his own version and the Talib students don't know any better. In Afghanistan, translating the Koran into English is a serious crime subject to years of imprisonment. I endorse NATO using UAVs and other weapon systems to wipe out the enemy. Muslims fanantics don't care that Jesus is number 2 in the Koran and that the Virgin Mary is Revered as well. Guess you can call them "cafeteria Muslims" since they throw out what they don't like and then adlib hate fascism-fanaticism to make the poor Talibs hate us. We have the right to be in Afghanistan. Rank and File nations from all over the world supported the US and NATO in taking out the Taliban. Even Iran, who hates the US, iis afraid the US will cut a deal with the Taliban and just sent their foreign Minister to meet with Karzai to rekindle the old Northern Alliance of Shia and Sunni Minorities against the Taliban.

Instead of installing Karzai as the puppet president by the US, he should have been installed as the Afghan KIng who could start a dynasty. This way the US will have a less difficult task in determining who should be the next puppet president. LOL. The US and Britain have done it before by installing some group of people in some kingdom in the middle-east.

Where is Newseek ABC, NBC, MSNBC, CNN and all the leftist media calling for an end to this war and a pullout. Silent. Even he says it will take 2 years or longer to rebound from this global recession. That is a normal recession recovery cycle so why spend 4 trillion dollars trying to do it. If anything, this may halt recovery and leave our nation in shambles big gamble. If Obama gets a second term he will leave this nation over 18 trillion in debt making GWB look like an amatuer at overspending.

If the alternative to delaying the election is mass chaos in Afghanistan, then I'd prefer that they wait, as long as they actually hold the election. Afghanistan has had too much trouble in the past for it to be a wise decision to rush into something.
