    Oh boy, first comes "King George"; now we have "Queen Sarah", another "Bushie" Republican...she'll decide what laws she has to abide by. And what is illegal for others ain't necessarily illegal for her. What rock did she crawl out from under? And, with the garbage she's been lobbying about McCain's opponent lately, she's become the reason I will march into the voting booth on Election day and choose OBAMA for president. I've lost all respect I previously held for John McCain because he's become a sewer slinging politician he used to claim to despise. Guess the real McCain couldn't hide his true nature forever. How very sad for him and his family.

    No. McCain's camp could NOT stop troopergate. Palin was within her rights to fire Monegan, but found guilty of abusing her power to seek revenge against her former brother-in-law, Wooten.
    Palin is already claiming she was cleared of any wrongdoing, and she is claiming that because she didn't break any ethical laws in firing Montegan, she is innocent.
    But it was her conduct regarding Wooten, the state trooper, that put the "trooper" in tropergate.

    PALIN IS GUILTY OF ABUSING HER POWER.

    Lets not give her any more power to abuse.

    Sarah Palin is a fraud. She was pregnant before she got married, has had an affair with one of her husband's friends, her 19 year old son is rumored to have serious drug problems, her 17 year old unwed daughter is pregnant, and she has used her political power to get even with people who disagree with her, yet all she talks about is being a "good Christian" and doing God's will. As a Christian she is a hypocrite who can not walk her talk, and as a politician she is completely unqualified to be Vice President. Her interview with Katie Couric showed her to be a woman with a disorganzied mind, a woman who is in over her head, utterly unprepared for the twist her fate has taken.

    Even committed Republicans who support McCain have to ask themselves if they really would take the risk of putting our country into Palin's hands. Sure, being VP doesn't necessarily take a lot of skills, but being President requires great intelligence and a clear-eyed world view, one untainted by religious fanaticism. Look at the mess we got with the under qualified Dubya, and even he seems smarter and less fanatical than Palin. McCain is 72 years old, with high cholesterol and high blood pressure; his father and grandfather each died of heart attacks at age 72. McCain's Vice President HAS to be ready to lead. And by lead, I am not referring to a full speed charge into Armageddon.

    For those of you who don't know, Palin belongs to a fundamentalist church that believes the end of the world is near: that war, financial distress and famine will kill off the sinful non-believers, and that when this holocaust occurs all good Christians will be taking refuge in Alaska. Furthermore, her church conducts witch hunts -- they actually use prayer to locate "witches" in their community, then publicly brand them as witches, and hold them responsible for everything that goes wrong in town. (Honestly, I think the long winters must be getting to their minds.) You can go on YouTube and watch videos of Palin participating during sermons like this. She stands on the altar facing the members. The congregation stands with outstretched hands, trancelike, speaking in tounges while the priest prays to "keep Sarah safe from all forms of witchcraft."

    Could you REALLY feel comfortable knowing that a woman who holds these beliefs would have the power to declare war and deploy nuclear missles?

    When Obama said that not taking care of the least of our brothers is our greatest moral failure, who knew that he was talking literally about the least of his brothers?

    Obama's half brother George lives in a hut in Kenya on $1 a day and yet Barak hasn't given him any money. He made over $4 million off his book but can't even give his brother $1,000 to $5,000??

    YET THIS SCUM BAG OBAMA wants to tax the rich in America more to help its poor, to create more WELFARE programs!

      I've actually lived within miles of Obama's half-brother. I did a lot of volunteer work in Tanzania, and one thing I learned the hard way was that you can better a life by giving your time, love, and knowledge, but you can do harm by giving money. (Teach to fish vs. give a fish)

      What would George do with a thousand dollars? Would he spend his shilling on going to college? Why not just give 1,000US to EVERYONE in developing nations? Is it money that they need?

      Obama can't give his half-brother's country a middle class.

      But since you are so concerned with sibling financial support, I expect that we'll soon see your scalding post about Cindy "Only Child" McCain's impoverished AMERICAN half-sister.

        It's crazy! You liberals will DRIVE many businesses to go offshore. Anybody who sells software or any other virtual business you might as well do it offshore to avoid getting RAPED by the Obama administration.

    I find it incomprehensible that anyone could find Sarah Palin an appropriate person to hold such a high position in US government. I feel compelled to assume that Mr. McCain must suffering from senile dementia. In it's early stages it is characterized by bursts of anger, forgetfulness, and flawed decision making. Mr. McCain should show his love of America by being tested for senile dementia before the election and releasing the results of those tests to prove to the citizenry that he is capable of the complex decisions that he will need to make as president.

        Do you really believe Obama is an idiot? He was educated at one of our country's most respected institutions. It would be easy to claim McCain is an idiot, because he graduated in bottom 5% of his class, but I get the feeling that might offend you, so I won't.

        Do you really believe he is a street radical? I imagine the real street radicals beg to differ.

        You can throw scary sounding words around all day, but I don't see how that helps the country. Somewhere along the line you lowered your standards.

        Politics should be a spirited exchange of ideas, not another excuse for people to hate each other.

          It's SO EASY to hate losers who don't pay their fair share of taxes ($9,600 is the average so if you're under this you're a major slacker) and who want those of us who do COVER THEIR SHARES to pay even more!

          Easy to support Obama if you're poor and have nothing, he won't HURT YOU at all and in fact give you free health insurance and other welfare he STOLE from those of us who are successful.

            I pay my fair share of taxes. In fact, my income increased last year, but after taxes I'm actually bring home less money, so you can spare me your righteous indignation.

            I make a good living, and I love what I do.

            Yes, I pay more taxes than most of my friends, but I don't wail about it. I also volunteer in my spare time. When I see people who do nothing to personally help others crying about paying taxes I can't help but laugh.

            You and I are expendable, my man. There would be little demand for our services in a depressed economy. The "slackers" you so despise provide all the labor, allowing us to pursue our oh-so-auspicious careers, and if the economy continues trending as it has been, those "slackers" will be the ONLY ones paying taxes because you and I will be unemployed.

    1) You really just need to show up. They are always SURPRISED that anybody would so vehemently OPPOSE them or their BELIEFS. This angers them beyond belief as their 'gurus' like Al Gore, Obama, Bill Clinton have totally brain washed them into all of their beliefs. It is easy however to brain wash somebody without much of a brain of themselves, someone who BELIEVES ANYTHING and has no critical thinking or reasoning skills!

    2) Facts - Truth and knowledge of the facts is the only thing needed to beat a liberal. They actually THINK they win on the issues but can't ever logically explain that since businesses CREATE jobs - businesses are OWNED by the rich and small business owners and when you TAX SMALL BUSINESSES they end up creating fewer jobs. I've asked in here at least a dozen times for some moron democrat to explain how taxing small business owners DURING A RECESSION how Obama will create 5 million jobs. Their dim brains can't figure this out either and even somebody with 172 iq like myself and established business owner is at a loss to figure out HOW this is possible!

    That's all you really need to defeat a LIBERAL. Just show up with the facts. They can't think well on their feat and will be quoting Al Gore and other dummy liberals but they won't ever use facts or statistics in their arguments and since they don't COMPREHEND the complexities in this global economy they can't even begin to argue with the truth.

        Why do I hate Democrats? Because last year I paid $107,000 in taxes, more than 10x the avg taxpayer payment of $9,600. I work hard in my business and risked my money for success and now you morons want us to pay EVEN MORE!

        The top 10% of income earners pay 65% of the tax and the bottom 40-50% pay no to almost NO TAX!

        Democrats are greedy, the rich already create all the jobs in this country, pay all the taxes for the most part and now you greedy bastards want more. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

      The Pledge of Allegiance concludes with the words "liberty and justice for all."

      We all have the liberty of not placing hands over our hearts. Reciting the pledge neither proves nor disproves one's patriotism; Likewise, placing hand over heart neither proves nor disproves one's sincerity.

      That Obama got caught up in a moment and forgot ceremony doesn't merit any attention at all, but I'll be devil's advocate for a minute anyway.
      Technically, one only need pledge allegiance once. ONE TIME.

      The President isn't sworn in again every day; Witnesses in court only swear oath once.

      Reciting the pledge with your hand over your heart is exactly the same, except (largely due to sports), it has become more highly ritualized.
      Following your logic, you think President Bush hates America because he ignores the Constitution (he apparently thinks IT is wrong!) , you hate Obama because you think he is wrong, and at least 50% of the people you know hate you because they think YOU are wrong.

      But none of that is relevant, because Obama did nothing treasonous, illegal, unpatriotic, or wrong!

      Thinking the country is going in the wrong direction is no more tantamount to hating the country than thinking your teenager is heading down the wrong path is the equivalent of hating your child!

      I don't know why I keep responding to your posts when you are so hysterical and hyperbolic, but I guess I keep hoping that you aren't shallow, unreasonable, and hateful... so I haven't given up.

When was it that the law did not matter and was just for the weak and poor and ordinary folks. She needs to come clear and let the people let the law prevail.

    According to some Democratic supporters, domestic violence must be okay if the victims are Republican. Monegan???s argument that the case had been investigated by his predecessor and therefore his hands were tied holds no weight because often internal police investigations and discipline go no where.


    There is likely no merit in the Monegan ethics complaint against Governor Sarah Palin and Sarah Palin should not have to wait until her sister disappeared before she intervened. Even if there was any merit to the complaint one could argue convincingly that it would have been prudent for her to intervene in this case given the recent publicity regarding the disappearance and death respectively of the last two wives of former and now retired Police Sergeant Drew Peterson in Bolingbrook Illinois a Chicago suburb, the Crandon Wisconsin apartment homecoming party shooting deaths of six young adults including the former girlfriend of a 20-year-old Crandon Wisconsin deputy and Crandon police officer Tyler Peterson who took his own life last October before his apprehension, the death of the nine-month pregnant girlfriend of convicted former Ohio police officer Bobby Cutts whose two year old son broke the case with the statement that mommy is in the rug, and the pending murder trial of Pennsylvania State Trooper and homicide investigator Kevin Foley for the stabbing murder of the soon to be dentist ex-husband of his live-in girlfriend that occurred two days before the effective date of the final divorce decree.
