Please sign this petition demanding the truth at www.alaskatroopergate.com that states:

"We, the undersigned, call on Sarah Palin to fulfill her promise to cooperate with the Alaska Troopergate investigation.

We demand that GOP operatives stop stonewalling the investigation.

We as Americans say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH and demand the information we are entitled to know to make an informed decision before election day!"

Please help get the word out!

We have another "Watergate" moment here as the repugnant ones try to stonewall a legitimate investigation into the wrongdoings of the Wicked Witch of Alaska. The only reason the repugnant ones are so hot to stop this investigation is that they know "Sinner" Sarah is guilty of abuse of power, she's nothing but "Darth" Cheney in a skirt and no amount of lipstick can hide her wicked ways.

When is it going to come out about Track's two year drug addiction to Oxycontin? Lets see, a politically connected bad seed is put into the military to straighten him out...Hmmm...

    • Posted By: pinpin1 @ 09/17/2008 4:01:26 PM

How about the pregnant daughter and her "husband-to-be-when"? Are they enrolled for their senior year? Track, spare him from the suicide bombers and friendly fire ala Pat Tillman, Oh Lord, did he think twice about going to college first before enlisting? The "first dude" himself only graduated from high school. Are we seeing a foster family for anti-higher education?

      • Posted By: pinpin1 @ 09/17/2008 4:38:29 PM

        Sorry, I meant "poster family".

    Must be hiding something,eh?

  • Posted By: sabrina1 @ 09/17/2008 4:30:04 PM

Stopping the truth being found out!? must have something to hide. What a scary dictatorship this would be...mcCain/Palin.

  • Posted By: Picabo @ 09/17/2008 3:04:38 PM

So, my question is why was Palin allowing a non-elected person (Todd, her first-dude) to be involved in decisions made by a sitting governor (Palin). Does that seem strange ot anyone else?

    • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 09/17/2008 4:29:25 PM

She couldn't handle the job because she has no qualifications..I bet everyone at the Gov's office did the work for her including her husband. I think it's illegal for a govt. official to have a spouse make the decisions.

    • Posted By: Donna1000 @ 09/17/2008 3:23:35 PM

Cabinet officers are not elected officials yet they manage vast federal agencies and advise presidents. Hillary Clinton advised Bill Clinton. Nancy Reagan advised Ronald Reagan. Executives have advisors. Elected officials are in the legislative branch. Nothing strange at all. It's the way it is.

      • Posted By: AskPlus @ 09/17/2008 4:15:45 PM

It's house advice. Not strange until you put structure to it. So, it is strange and pretty awful.

Here's what Mr. McCain thinks of normal people:

Most candidates after all, grow more cautious around the media mob as the stakes get higher. McCain said he couldn't stop (talking to the media) because 'that destroys credibility.' And besides he said, 'I enjoy it a lot. It keeps me intellectually stimulated, it keeps me thinking about issues, and it keeps me associated with a lower level of human being than I otherwise would be.' -- Washington Post, 1/21/08

    Go lower level people!

    • Posted By: kshortSD @ 09/17/2008 3:02:09 PM

No way. Please tell me he didn't really say that...

If he did, I would hope Obama's team would use it in their ads!

A McCain lawyer scrambles to block a Palin ethics inquiry.

Why is McCain wanting to Stop 'Troppergate'? It would be great it straight from the horses mouth. If it were you or I you bet we wouldn't get off this easy. Hmmmm..... just want the truth.

SORRY! 94% employed. I know exactly how it works. Now, who is the spinner?

    • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 09/17/2008 4:26:21 PM

A large percentage of the 94% are low paying jobs and you know it.

    • Posted By: AskPlus @ 09/17/2008 3:02:06 PM

It's still spin and lies. Fact-check is to your right.

    • Posted By: score keeper @ 09/17/2008 3:01:22 PM

By all means we bow down and defer to your greater ability to "Spin" an issue versus face real facts. You are the heretofore "King of Spin"!

      BTW,

what color is IS the sky in your world?

If Mc Cain went to a church that said "God Damn America, the N!ggers are destroying America" people would be UP IN ARMS!

But Black Racism is tolerated. Why is that?

Obama went to a church where his pastor frequently said "US of KKK" and "Now they want us to say God Bless America, no, no NO, God Damn America! God Damn America."

Anybody wish to comment on this, we have VIDEO of his moron RACIST pastor saying this.
The fact he was raised Muslim and then went to a RACIST church and his POLICIES favor taxing rich white people and giving MORE WELFARE to poor blacks says it all. Obama is a racist JOKE and won't win.

    • Posted By: max in fl @ 09/17/2008 2:22:43 PM

Relax, you're are losing it. You are ACTUALLY believing the Republican spin. That video is 16 seconds long, do you know why?. It's is because if you listen to the REST of the sentence it would make sense.

Those black people have been oppressing the white people for far too long right?. They have stop the white race from getting jobs and kept them out of buildings and even stopped them from voting. They have called white people animals to justify slavery. What is racism again? You hear what you want to hear.but Rev Wright was speaking out against social injustice. I've never been in a church that adamently speaks out against social injustice but by your tone, I'm not the only one.

I've heard they were speaking out against social injustice ever since they were allowed to build a church of their own. . I'm sure in your world America does not entertain social injustice (like burning a church down because of the color of its members).. .I would tell you listen to the entire speech but that would not help your taxes or McCain's chances of winning. .

      • Posted By: careerdaytrader @ 09/17/2008 3:01:56 PM

So you're saying you SUPPORT the fact that Obama is racist and went to a clearly racist church?

It's ok to hate white people? Wow, never thought I'd hear that!

        • Posted By: max in fl @ 09/17/2008 4:24:54 PM

          Trader

You said he is racist, you said that his church is racist. I SAID you were taken by a 16 second clip. The whole sentence of the speech was Not *** bless America, *** **** America for treating its citizens as less than human. He didn't say he hated anyone or America for that matter. Could he said something else, of course he could have. Did he say it for 20 years, I doubt it. Certainly that clip helps your case in labeling Obama a racist to knock him down and stroke fear into the hearts of the American people.

Now let's compare that to McCain who said that we need alternative fuels so we can stop giving money to terrorist. So the royal family are terrorists? The people we are training in Iraq are terrorist? I'm not sure of the nationality of all your employees, but imagine if one of them was non white and you thought you were close and you overheard them calling you a racist, I'm sure you would be as shocked as Bill was. Politics....

By the way Obama also was not raised Muslim (another Repulbican lie). Just because he did not change his name to make you feel better, doesn't make him Muslim. It would be nice however if we lived in a time where your religion didn't matter, soon I hope..

Honestly if his name was Bin Laden you would elect him if he promised to lower your taxes.

    • Posted By: basedrum777 @ 09/17/2008 10:41:12 AM

I'd like to know why you think the "poor" people he will be helping with tax cuts are even a majority black, let alone entirely black? I know plenty of poor white people who would benefit from his tax proposals. The only racist here, my friend (thought you like a McCain in there), is you.

      • Posted By: careerdaytrader @ 09/17/2008 10:57:06 AM

Ok good point I'll take that back. 50% of American's pay NO taxes. Obama says he wants to give tax rebates to the middle classes but is NOT BEING HONEST in that he also wants to give rebates to all those who have NOT PAID 1 penny in taxes.

That's called Welfare and in this country and the recession we are entering into we can't afford NEW WELFARE policies by taxing the hard workers in America, the successful people, and GIVING the rich's money to the poor.

Obama NEVER discusses this part of his plan on TV. Why is that?

        • Posted By: Lindalp @ 09/17/2008 12:22:22 PM

I have studied a few financial experts analysis of both candidates economic plans and truly they boil it down to this, McCain will tax the middle/lower middle class an average of 4 percent higher than Obama's plan. I am all for that, my friend. I wonder if that includes the health tax McCain wants to pull out of my already slim paycheck. Oh, and I work for a living, always have always will, and I support Obama for sure.

      • Posted By: careerdaytrader @ 09/17/2008 10:58:29 AM

Want to address my POINT of Obama being a racist and going to a racist church.

I notice you BYPASSED my point and just thought you'd call me a name. Good tactic, its the only one you Democrats can do as you can't argue on the FACTS.

Our parents were deeply divided by race, as a matter of fact our grandparents even more so. Today this generation has progressed, and I firmly believe our children will be less likely to view race as a significant factor, Face it, America is changing. Back in Rev, Wright's day, he experienced issues that made him that way, but those days are fast disappearing. Not until this whole generation are dead and gone will the children of today have a chance to a new start. Until then, bigots like you and I will continue to retard their growth. But there is hope. The demograhics dictate a new day has dawned, when we see the interaction of cultures and beliefs. This is what this country was designed to be, and will eventually be. By the way there is no such thing as black racism. Racism, as defined, is the ability and capability to restrict or deny opportunities or entitlements based on race. You have to be in a position of power to enact such a deed. People who are historically disadvantaged (minorities) are not able to inflict such isms. Good day.

      • Posted By: Iconoblaster @ 09/17/2008 12:08:50 PM

While I agree with much of the comment above, a point of order. ANYONE can be a racist. The stilted definition offered above isn't reasonable or accurate. Webster's defines "racism" as an excessive and irrational belief in the superiority of one's own racial group; I would add to that "an excessive and irrational preference for one racial group, or animus toward another". The most DESTRUCTIVE racism is, clearly, that harbored by those in a position to do the most harm, those in power, but having such power is not elemental to racism in general.

Sarah Palin is the Virgin Mary to the GOP.....except... she got pregnant before marriage.

  • Posted By: oh michael @ 09/17/2008 4:14:59 PM

I thought Pristene Palen said she welcomed(in fact i know she said that,I heard her) an investigation. Is she too changing horses in midstream? Careful, you could get soaked.

When two people and an army of lawyers and staffers are trying this hard to stop something it tells me we, "the people" need to keep going. Obviously there is something there.

  • Posted By: Old as dirt @ 09/17/2008 4:11:59 PM

Something is not right here!!! If the threat of murder is true why not just call the police and have him arrested? Isn't Palin the top cop in Alaska? Just another Republican lie. I can see it now McCain/Palin in Washington. Here is your office little missey. You can decorate it as you please and spare no expense. When you finish, kick back and enjoy. I will call you when I need you.

McCain is Illegally Tampering With Palin Investigation! McCain Must Be Forced to Obey The Law!
Edward O???Callaghan, hired by McCain, is illegally medeling by actively blocking the Palin investigation to steal the election for McCain! Newsweek journalist Michael Isikoff reports ???The growing role of Edward O???Callaghan, who until six weeks ago served as co-chief of the terrorism and national security unit of the U.S. attorney???s office in New York, illustrates just how seriously the McCain campaign is taking the so-called ???troopergate??? inquiry into Palin???s firing last summer of Walt Monegan, Alaska???s Public Safety Commissioner.???
Where is the media outrage to cry foul! McCain starts by making false accusations against Obama while intentionally and illegally tampering with the legal juriprudence of the Alaska state congress! After the GOP twice stole presidential elections in Florida and last time in Ohio, the media and Democrats must stand to stop McCain stealing the election! McCain is taking an aggressive illegal strategy aimed at shutting down a pre-election ethics investigation into Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin! The media must insist that Callaghan and second unnamed McCain advisor leave Alaska immediately and the investigation and 13 subpoenas be allowed to continue!

McCain knows Palin illegally used her office to fire Monegan over a personal attack against Wooten! McCain knows the ethics investigation report will destroy his candidacy! The investigation and 13 subpoenas must continue and McCain???s illegal medeling must be squashed! McCain wants to make his own law like Bush and must be stopped!

If Palin has nothing to hide then she would be willing to show up and speak openly to clear this up... instead she is wasting tax dollars by making this whole process drag on. Such a hypocrite. WWJD?

I don't understand why Palin doesn't just get this over with. If she did something wrong, she'll get a slap on the wrist and the McCain campaign will have lots of time to spin it to their advantage. If she did nothing wrong, they'll get lots of mileage out of her "persecution." Doing it this way just makes it look like she has something to hide. Why should the American people be asked to buy a pig in a poke? Everybody should just put their cards on the table and the McCain campaign needs to stop strong-arming the government empowered by the people of Alaska. This is not the campaign's business and they should stay out of it.

Palin's hiding something, period. Come on--she welcomed the investigation, and now that she's the Repub VP candidate, she's suddenly saying that it's a political which-hunt?? This inquiry started way before she was even vetted (supposedly) by McCain. Are you kidding me? You McCainiacs should encourage her to simply tell her side of the story instead of defending her. What is she hiding??
