Are you kidding me. Where do i start. Terrorist love dems, because they are WEAK on defense. How do you think 9/11 happened? 8 years of clinton. There were HUGE and obvious opportunities to stop them, but he was too busy with the interns. How you people can watch the 9/11 shows recently and vote for a no experience dem is mind-boggling. Below is a little taste of why / how terrorist support dems. Don't be a fool. These boards are often made up of useless celebs, paid dems and terrorist. Research that too if you don't believe it. Plenty of evidence if you're willing to look, unlike the trooper uselessness.

Al Qaeda Sends a Message to Democrats

      Share December 22, 2006 2:28 PM

Brian Ross and Hoda Osman Report:

Al Qaeda has sent a message to leaders of the Democratic party that credit for the defeat of congressional Republicans belongs to the terrorists.

In a portion of the tape from al Qaeda No. 2 man, Ayman al Zawahri, made available only today, Zawahri says he has two messages for American Democrats.

"The first is that you aren't the ones who won the midterm elections, nor are the Republicans the ones who lost. Rather, the Mujahideen -- the Muslim Ummah's vanguard in Afghanistan and Iraq -- are the ones who won, and the American forces and their Crusader allies are the ones who lost," Zawahri said, according to a full transcript obtained by ABC News.

"And if you don't refrain from the foolish American policy of backing Israel, occupying the lands of Islam and stealing the treasures of the Muslims, then await the same fate," he said.

Why do most Republicans almost always talk only about half-truths that are outdated, when everyone else is talking about what is going on right now, and which affects us all right now?

    • Posted By: valark @ 09/17/2008 1:23:33 PM

Half-truths? All your posts are half-truths. You should just say "I hate Republicans" over and over.

Sorry, guess I forgot the white adulterers (dems). Clinton, Edwards, .. Giuliani was getting a divorce, doesn't count. NO self respecting woman would ever vote for hussein obama.

Ha ha ha..You are assuming McCain cheated on his wife?...Not even near the truth...HE was cheated on...She was cheating on him will he was away at the Hilton hotel...You should recall how she ending up crippled...Driving home drunk from a party....Yeah Id divorce to if my spouse was out partying all night long and cheated on me while I was POWd somewhere...Some spouses. Geez

Wow... that's almost as good as Bush's South Carolina strategy in 2000 against McCain. Considering it would take only about 5 minutes to prove you wrong - starting with McCain's own words on the issue - you obviously aren't very interested reality. Can you share the address of fantasy world? It might be fun to visit sometime if I can find the right drugs.

I liked your other posts but this one screams for a mention of Larry Craig, Foley, the Louisiana Senator... We could make a long list for both sides which ultimately makes that a pretty flaccid case for voting against Obama.

Yeah, they still investigate, but will that occur before the election or after?

    • Posted By: valark @ 09/17/2008 1:22:00 PM

Are you purposefully not reading the facts available? They have already investigated and are making choices about if they should proceed with any charges. It clearly says so even in this bit of fluff of an article. She got a lawyer, for a lawsuit. That is it. That's all this story says. She has a better viable position now and so a better lawyer to help her previous lawyer do a better job. That is what this article says. Did you miss the whole part where they are putting forth a motion because they found no ethical violations?

If you want to be upset at the Republican party, fine. But just say that then...say "I hate Republicans and would never vote for them."

But if you are so worried about ethics, how do you square Biden who actually has been found guilty of ethical violations?

The truth is, these articles you read are not the whole picture. They are designed to make you sit here and read their magazine for the entire morning. Its not thoughtful reporting, its not even decently portrayed.

Its okay to dislike what you dislike, but stop making up things.

If you have nothing to hide, then why hide behind anything at all?

    • Posted By: Phoenix AZ @ 09/17/2008 1:21:41 PM

Sarah Palin has been hiding since the GOP convention. Sorry but something stinks with her and it's not the fish in AK.

  • Posted By: Alongwayback @ 09/17/2008 12:25:37 PM

Truth always finds its' way to the light, no matter what man does to try to prevent it, because truth is not and never will be man's creation, therefore, it cannot be forever held back from the eyes of the world. How much longer can Republicans imply that the issues created by their own party for the past eight years is the responsibility of the party that was not in power and had absolutely no control over what Republicans did in the name of profits? It is completely shameless what and whom they will exploit for their benefit, not that of the American people. I wonder exactly how much they paid to each Republican candidate to get onstage and publically admit that Sarah Palin had more qualifications than they did with a straight face. Or to say how great she is without mentioning none of the very serious flaws she represent? But then again, we are talking about a party who has yet to even give so much as a sincere apology for the debacle known around the world as Hurricane Katrina. Apparently, they have forgotten why after seven years they no longer control congress. America, try to remember why we voted most Republicans out of office last fall, try to remember all of the numerous scandals and proven abuses of power that have occurred under the Republican watch, by the Republican party itself. If you can remember nothing else, remember this, if elected in November, the Republicans will continue their running of this great nation 100% based on control by fear and a continued erosion of your right to privacy, which has been usurp by the current administration. You see, all of the failed policies of the Bush administration will continue under McCain and worse will come to pass should he lose his ability to lead to Palin. Please pay attention; we are not just talking about our collective present, but the future of all of our children as well. Do we really want to give in to the rhetoric of fear yet again and punish not only ourselves, but our children as well who have no control over this BS the Republican machine continues to engage in?

    • Posted By: observer101 @ 09/17/2008 1:20:10 PM

Take off your tin foil hat and look at the BS you are spouting...Are you saying that NO Democrats have businesses while a Republican is in office?...Your statements imply that Dems just sit in basements waiting for their time to come out and make a living...Some of these major corps that are failing are run by Dems...

  • Posted By: keeptrying10 @ 09/17/2008 1:03:54 PM

Of course McCain/Palin want you distracted, their own campaign strategist admitted in a televised interview on CNN that "it would be in their candidates best interest to stay away from the issues which are concerning everyone today, if they plan to win this election". Now what does that say?

  • Posted By: Phoenix AZ @ 09/17/2008 1:16:01 PM

Who is controlling this investigation anyway? If there is nothing to hide anyone would put the facts out on the table and prove their innocence. If Sarah Palen is in fact cleared of this legally and honestly, fine. But I pray this investigation is finished before the elections. Again, Republicans are mum about the truth and facts. Does McCain have that much clout and what gives him the right to can this investigation. I feel sorry for all of us who see through the deceipt if they win.

  • Posted By: lohchief @ 09/17/2008 1:15:34 PM

This whole republican campaign reeks of lies/half truths/and the usual coverups.I am a registired Independent, and everyday i see why I am givin the crap from both parties. As far as palin goes, she was/is the one calling for transparency in govt.Which as i see it,begins at home.McCain on the other hand, seems to change his mind on just about everything of substance except the cliches.Obama seems to have a clear plan for our future, which he has stated. All I have heard out of the other camp is calls for change,no more " good 'ol boy" politics as usual, yet their actions don't match their words.I wonder how I'll vote?

Comment: Why do you think she's hiding? With Obama's hoard of lawyers up there, I'm sure Palin's attorneys are doing what anyone would do in that situation... not allow her to comment until they are ready for her to do so

Translation: Till she's been coached on which bulls_it to spew. If she had a brain, she'd be dangerous.

She's just taking the heat of off of Mr./ magoo for awhile.

She'll drop out in a few weeks and then it'll be the puppeteer, AKA Joe Lieberman.

    • Posted By: Pallisor @ 09/17/2008 1:14:44 PM

Obviously, you know less than nothing about law. As if Obama didn't do the same with the Rezko, Ayers and Wright fiascos.

While this hasn't even reached the courts, you have all the facts and have delivered the guilty verdict!

      You don't know sh!t.

  • Posted By: Cuchara @ 09/17/2008 12:22:30 PM

I'll ask you the same question? If the Palins are so right why do they need a team of lawyers in addition to the ones paid for by the state? What about the lie by Gov. Palin during the ABC intreview that she welcomed this inquiry?

    • Posted By: observer101 @ 09/17/2008 1:13:10 PM

Because lawyers are needed whether you are guilty or not, the more you have the better off you are...She isnt guilty of firing a trooper...She is being accused of firing with prejudice...Obama supporters believe she fired the unruly trooper for no reason or because she used her position of power as a source of revenge for her sister...They dont understand that ppl, even family members or an ex in this case can still be fired for insubordination and bad conduct...No doubt this will turn into what all Dem investigations turn into..A case of much ado about nothing...Just something to wittle time away until the next bit o dirt can be found. So to answer your question, she was more than likely advised by her lawyers to not talk about this until they are done going over the facts...As all lawyers say to their clients.

  • Posted By: mcoulter @ 09/17/2008 1:11:00 PM

Palin/McCain may be doing all of this to GET attention onto Troopergate, and away from the economy, Russia and Georgia, Palin's lack of qualifications, and other such issues.

  • Posted By: Alongwayback @ 09/17/2008 1:09:47 PM

Republican candidates for this election at best are big jokes. "We are the true agents of change, but pardon us while we do more of the same stuff from the past eight years, while we try to get your vote that will allow us to do more of the same for four more years. If you repeat the same lies and half-truths often enough, people will believe it as true, is that not the Republican way? Come on people, are we really foolish enough to believe that the Republican Party candidates running as agents of change are going to change anything more than the faces you see? Besides, how can you change from the Republican Party to the Republican Party and call it change?

  • Posted By: Alongwayback @ 09/17/2008 1:01:41 PM

Clinton may have "messed" with the lending practices, but he also left this country with a 56 billion dollar surplus of cash. It is Gearge Bush who has thrown that away and run up the largest deficit in this country's history, let's keep things in perspective.

  • Posted By: Alongwayback @ 09/17/2008 12:57:08 PM

Correct me if I am wrong, but aren't they the same two people who are promising to change Washington? In light of this investigation and their attempts to block it, where is the change?

  • Posted By: Alongwayback @ 09/17/2008 12:55:36 PM

You see, if the results are that she is guilty and the results are held until after the election, that gives John McCain the power by virtue of office to pardon her. Is she then innocent of wrong-doing by reason of pardon? If she then gets impeached, who steps in at that point to be Vice-President and will this be a person that everyone agrees with? I ask because of the choice John McCain has made for his current choice.

    Public Safety Commissioner dismissal

Main article: Alaska Public Safety Commissioner dismissal

On July 11, 2008, Sarah Palin dismissed Public Safety Commissioner Walter Monegan, citing performance-related issues, such as not being a team player on budgeting issues.[110][111] Monegan alleged that his dismissal was retaliation for his failure to fire Palin???s former brother-in-law, Alaska State Trooper Mike Wooten, who was involved in a child custody battle with Palin???s sister. Governor Palin stated on July 17 that no pressure had been applied upon Monegan to fire Wooten.

In July, Palin's ethics advisor urged her to apologize for "overreaching or perceived overreaching" to get Wooten fired.

Palin publicly acknowledged in August that "pressure could have been perceived to exist, although I have only now become aware of it." She also apologized to Alaskans for the distraction.
On August 1, the Alaska Legislature hired an independent investigator to review the situation.

The investigation is scheduled to be completed in October 2008.

On August 13, after an internal investigation, Palin acknowledged that her staff had contacted Monegan or his staff about two dozen times regarding Wooten. Palin placed the Alaska Director of Boards and Commissions on paid leave as a result of one tape-recorded call. She stated that she had only known about some of the contacts, that many of those contacts were appropriate, and restated she had not fired Monegan because of Wooten, who is still employed as a state trooper.

On September 1, Palin's lawyer asked the state Legislature to drop its investigation, saying that by state law, the governor-appointed state Personnel Board had jurisdiction over ethics issues.[120] Palin also asked that the Board review the matter as an ethics complaint.

Palin's choice to replace Monegan, Charles M. Kopp, chief of the Kenai police department, was named to the position on July 11, 2008. He resigned on July 25 after it was revealed that he had received a letter of reprimand for sexual harassment in his previous position.

On September 12th, Associated Press reported that the bipartisan Alaska's State Senate committee investigating abuse of power investigation against Sarah Palin decided to subpoena Todd Palin, her husband.

Republicans seem to run everything until you start talking about the current issues of this country, then it is the Democrats that had the control for the last eight years right? 85 billion dollar bail-out (AIG), 45 billion dollar bail-out (Fannie Mae), 55 billion dollar bail-out (Freddie Mac), all withing the last ten days. Who are the Republicans kidding besides themselves?

    • Posted By: observer101 @ 09/17/2008 12:53:35 PM
