Agreed, criminals of ALL and ANY immigration status should be locked up. This article mentions only briefly that this particular person was "possibly" illegal. They did not know for sure. Also there wasn't enough to charge him with the crime and so they had to release him. I agree that this is a tragedy and no one deservse all the pain and suffering these men have inflicted. I don't think it is right to assume that everyone with darker skin and speaking a language other than english is illegal. Although we have come to know that this particular person was indeed an undocumented immigrant this does not give police or anyone else the right to violate a persons right BEFORE knowing their ACTUAL immigration status. My pray for justice for these victims and their families.
