Obama begin with ACORN by funneling millions into their organization. He then trained ACORN to stage protests in banks to force them to issue risky loans or they would be threatened to face racial charges. ACORN was trained to intimidate financial institutions into giving ???Ninja??? loans to people with NO assets, NO job and NO income, who couldn???t afford these loans.

That caused the housing bubble two years ago it was by ACORN's actions they were able to destroy our credit system.

As this played out, D-Barney Frank and D-Chris Dodd were able to cover up the millions of improvident loans to these bad risky house buyers. And Barney Frank and his chums successfully were able to block all of President Bush's attempts to put a rein on this problem.

So Fannie & Freddie was forced to purchase all these failed subprime mortgages.

Then both Frank and Dodd denied that there were any problems, and refused the Bush Admin. requests to set up a regulatory agency to watch over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and they were still pushing for these agencies to go even further in promoting sub-prime mortgage loans almost up to the 'minute they failed'.

Democrats then blamed Bush saying it happened on his watch knowing it would hurt the Republican Party in the election setting it up that Barack Obama could use this to his advantage.

The Alaska Governor and Senator John McCain are extraordinary individuals who's track record is worthy of praise for both. The list of accomplishments that these two individuals can name in their respective resumes, are something that any red blooded American would be proud of.
The Democratic nomenee is not nearly prepared to present a similar resume to the American voter. Extrangely enough he have reached the level of nomenee somehow.

Those resposible for the success of his campaign are the group supporting and advising him. They are on salary. But being salaried strategists, salaried publicists and so on, wouldn't be enough to display the fanatic energy that these salaried professionals demonstrate. Why then?

This is nothing new! It had happened before in history. In recent history. We have seen peoples, particularly young people, becoming fanatic followers of charismatic leaders.

I appeal to the typical common sense of Americans. Think about it. Do this thinking first, before you commit your futere and that of our country to those attempt to messmerize you.

I read the article from the Mayor from nowhere. Doesn't sound like Nowhere to those people. Sounded important to them. When are the candidates going to tell us what they really are going to do, 4yrs from Nov. 4th.

Taxation is and always has been a redistribution of wealth. Once you recognize that point, the question is, how are we going to spend the money we raise in taxes?

For the past 8 years, our tax dollars have gone to killing civilians in Iraq and giving big payoffs to Halliburton (co-incidentally owned by the Cheney family). And since there wasn't enough in the treasury to do this in style, we borrowed money from communist China and ran up the national debt to pay for it.

Like 80% of Americans, I am sick of this particular redistribution plan.

Obama's plan reduces taxes on 98% of Americans. The other 2% of us (who make over $250,000 a year) can afford to pay an extra 3%. That extra 3% comes out to only $300 for every $10,000 they make above $250,000. It's not going to kill them. In fact, if you make over $250,000 a year, $300 probably doesn't mean much to you. The other source of increased revenue will be making corporations that ship jobs overseas pay a higher share of tax. Right now, these corporations pay a lower share than companies that keep their employees in the USA. No more incentives to hurt America. We all can agree with that.

Obama promises to go through the Federal budget line by line and cut all the wasteful spending. He promises to have transparency, a website where you can go and actually see the real Federal budget, not the made for TV version you can access under Bush.

Furthermore, Obama's economic plans will lead to a strong economy, an educated workforce, more American based jobs, affordable health care, and freedom from foreign oil. We will regain our position as a world leader, a nation that spreads democracy not with guns and threats, but with prosperity and diplomacy.

How do I know this? I read Obama's Blueprint for Change. And I compared it to what McCain had to offer (more tax cuts for corporations and the wealthy, more wars, a really inadequate health plan, and the stated intention of overturning Roe v. Wade). You really should visit the websites of both candidates and read their platforms.

Actually, I'm a communist and I voted for John McCain because I know he will keep up the fight in Iraq and Aftghanistan, and he might even return to Vietnam. That will so drain the U.S. of financial resources that it will collapse.

No, I'm not really a communist, nor do I support al Qaeda. But bin Laden reportedly layed out the same strategy for defeating the U.S. It worked against the USSR and it sure as heck could work against us.
