i have always said, the down fall of this country is GREED. of course the government is going to hand out the money to banks , and AIG because all of washington dems and rep. do not want to see the wealthy . lose there millions do to corp misdeeds, and stock market declines, but the middle class will be the ones that pay for it all, with higher taxes, somewhere down the road. our government is so corrupt.. its no wonder we are hated around the world, wake up america, this country is in turmoil , soon the american dollar will not be worth wiping your @#$ with, this problem will exist for years to come. as far as presidential canidates go i would not trust either one of them, i am tired of all this he said , she said mentality . with these morones . lets go after those in banking and AIG and all those others we trusted with america money, of course you do not hear nothing about that. , who is responsible for this . it is ok gm ford and other car makers layoff thousand , because of the economy , i wonder if being middle class has anything to do with that. why the government did nothing about that. . i agree enough is enough.

Maybe Homeland Security missed them or are they sleeping with them. Of course we the people do not take the time to elect officials that will save our country and protect our interests. We only have ourselves to blame, it is so obvious that the majority of the Senate and Congress are corrupt and only insuring their own self worth. They flat out lie and steal our hard earned income from us and we are stupid enough to elect them anyway. Lets make a difference and demand that our elected officials do their job and restore pride in America.

These executives plus their Board of Directors should all be facing jail time. The y had a fiduciary duty to the shareholders, employees and the general public. They made their millions while the firms were flying high; then leave with millions more after sinking the ship. Real estate runs in cycles, always has and always will.
Real estate will rise over a period of time and when it reaches the point where it is unaffordable ithe bottom falls out and the market nose dives. Add to this the fradulent mortages and the brokers pushing people into mortages that they don't have a pray of keeping up with and we end up with this disastor.

These CEOs already knows that their company is heading to bankruptcy. They are too smart NOT to know their company is heading to the deep hole. It is up to the Board members and the stock Holder find out and to act fast to outst them without any compensation if they lied.

Watch other banks that has subprime-mortgage, they are next, NO DOUBT.

The general opinion in my office, including my Boss, is that these CEOs etc obviously conned their way into the jobs as they are obviously incapable of telling the truth. They lie to regulators, accountants, shareholders and end up laughing all the way to their fat bank accounts and protected pensions.

This is all a result of the atempt by the total of the goons that run these companies who are neandorthals of the wurst kind and then take our money and run to foreigners that own the US of A and try and make us all weak. They take our guns and jobs so they have more power. The soviets are behind the hole mess and we need strong leaders that know how to stand up and not blink to there leaders otherwise the high paid ceos will keep making more money . And that is why McKain and Sarah are best for the econonmic situation. He can fight them and she can post lookout in Alaska for the russians to come.

Let's see. Politicians fail; they get fired, not re-elected. General fail; they get fired, not promoted. Big league managers fail; they get fired, period. CEO's fail; maybe they get fired, maybe they don't, but they get rewarded with obscene payouts in either case. How do I get a job like that? I know how to take stupid risks. Are there other pre-requisites? Obviously the ability to recognize a preposterous economic model is not one of them. Maybe it's a willingness to wear a coat and tie.
