All I see is the modern way of 'feudalism' here-- the corportocracies and their government puppets are making way so the taxation of the working classes and the poor will offer the buffer for their failures of new conquests? Talk about the newest 'legal' means of segregating the classes while getting away with a 'non-responsibility' clause? Is is me, or has the Simpson cartoon family attitude of 'not my responsiblity' gone to new heights of the 'American Agenda'????

This is just the powerful(congress) giving taxpayer money to the rich. We should vote out every person in Congress that votes for this bailout.

Hmmm....the payouts for failure total close to 2 billion dollars...this is not including bloated salaries. Perhaps the wallstreet elite could save themselves instead of the ever shrinking middle class.

If these fat cat CEO's had been doing their jobs in the first place - they wouldn't be in the mess they're right now. If I ruined my finances on my own, who would bail me out? ME! Let them clean up the mess they made
and suffer the consequences. When someone really deserves aid - I'm glad to help. But not in this case.

no severance, no health insurance, relinguish their stock in the company, place them in hand cuffs and take them to jail. they knew when they made sub-prime mortgages this could happen, prime example, my neighbor purchased his house with 6 forclosures pending on other properties, what is wrong with this picture. the democrats have made people lazy with their hand outs, making credit to easy to secure and this is what happens. stop the welfare, stop the medicare, stop the medicaid these are all programs that promote laziness.

It sickens me to see Bush and the lawmakers bailout private industry in the housing crisis. By God, noone bailed me out when I had to have my home foreclosed on anf suffered a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. mit makes me SICK!!!!

If all those CEO's had been doing their job in the first place, the real working people wouldn't be bailing them or their company out. If I ruined my finances, who would bail me out? ME! When they do their jobs, let them cry for help - not before.

II am sick that the CEO's are going to walk away free as a bird with no hardship for them! These fat cats have been raking in their enormous bonuses and "golden parachutes" for several years now while the middle class are losing their jobs, homes and children at going to be hungry at night. Have they no consciences? Middle class jobs are going overseas while these people are getting their millions? Where is the justice? Let them once worry about how they are going to feed their families! In one year, the unimagineable will happen in the U.S. It will become just like Mexico. No middle class. We will be eitther dirt poor or living like kings with no middle class in the mix.

These guys don't risk anything save their reputation. They're already well off and don't really need more. A working man who loses his job could possibly lose everything; his home, his future even his family if things get too hard to deal with. So who's truly at risk in this economy?

Gentlemen, (insert joke here)...you could never convince me you earned, are worth, or deserving of that kind of money.

Why should we have to suffer? Let them pay it back. They are the ones that are getting millions and millions of dollars. They shouldn't get a dime. They get richer and richer while the average American gets poorer & poorer. GIVE THE HARD WORKING AMERICANS A BREAK, NOT THE FAT CATS.

it sickens me to see these CFO's get bailed out for mistakes they made and the tax payers are the ones who are going to suffer.

Its really sickening when I as a single mother struggle everyday to pay bills and these big CFO's made a large mistake and they walk away with more money than I will ever see in my lifetime.

Perfect example of what is wrong with this country-Lack of leadership in government and business. Thank god these idiots are having to fight and die for freedom. They are too busy abusing freedom.
