You are perfectly correct in your assessment that God loves and forgives, but he is grieved by the "act" of homosexuality. That's all Christians are asserting and therefore are in support of not allowing the the "by-product" of homosexuality (same sex marriage) to manifest to become a "marriage".

America is the only civilized country that doesn't allow gay property rights among couples. I've seen too many guys fight hostile families of deceased lovers to get just their own belongings back, let alone joint property.

Right, and there's supposed to be some sort of "Youth Formula" to fix their age? Otherwise they have to live in a repressed society because they're being true to themselves? You cannot confuse religion with science, and vice versa. Religion is not a shield to hide behind when you don't understand how someone feels and the obstacles that they face in life. This is simply deferring the problem back on to the person and not solving anything. There will be a day where the US Government recognizes Gay and Lesbian Unions as law, so be prepared.

Health care is a privilege, not a right. I'm sure if you went to your health care provider, and told them your situation, they would give you an appropriate answer according to your policy. If you dont like the answer, go to a different provider, but try to negotiate the terms you desire. Dont make it the rest of the worlds problem. Truth is, the gay race is more risky for the insurance companies, so i would expect them to charge you more.
