re: How Not to Save the World -- Fareed Zakaria's article from 9/29. I want to applaud this article, and in particular its recognition of the vital importance of land reform. Those interested in the concept might search on either wealthandwant or lvtfan. Henry George told us how to do land reform -- and, equally importantly -- how NOT to do it -- as well as why land reform is so vitally important, not only in other countries but in our own. His points are important today, and we can't hope to end poverty without incorporating his observations and recommendations into our framework.
