Are Voters Feeling Alienated by Palin?

I find it intriquing how conservative, religious zealots can make determinations for other people. You can not dictate morality! It is ridiculous for anyone, no matter how enlightened, to force their beliefs on other people. Example, IRAQ! Stop trying to run everybody's life and just be content to run your own.

When the media did everything from get yet another Democratic supporter like Tom Brokaw to "hand pick the questions from the audience of "undecieded voters" in phony townhall style setting of course Obama was going to look competent. That's the only way he could.

Everyone knows or should know that McCain has not only been doing townhalls all over the country this whole time even when Obama refused to do any when invited by McCain "several times" the media had to move "heaven and earth" to make sure that this debate was fool proof. And Obama was the Fool!

The only feed back I got out of this last debate was that Obama is going to tax us to death like his poor constituents in IL with high sales and gas taxes. And when he raises capital gains on companies everyone will be on Welfare because all of the compaines will leave US and leave us with even fewer jobs.

He wants everyone to be poor. That way we will all be "the same" and the liberal media is none to happy to help. And stop thinking about how this is going to hurt the rich. The rich are already covering their hides. The second it gets too hot....Their Gone! And I mean out of the Country gone. And dont think you can move out of the country either because the rest of the world hates us more than any Republican could.

But no worries b/c Obama will lose b/c all across this country states are relizing what ACORN under the Obama campaign is doing (10 states and counting investigating them for voter fraud) and Obama will not only ruin his life but also drag down the entire Democratic party. This is going to bad.

Sarah Palin is a fraud. She was pregnant before she got married, has had an affair with one of her husband's friends, her 19 year old son is rumored to have serious drug problems, her 17 year old unwed daughter is pregnant, and she has used her political power to get even with people who disagree with her, yet all she talks about is being a "good Christian" and doing God's will. As a Christian she is a hypocrite who can not walk her talk, and as a politician she is completely unqualified to be Vice President. Her interview with Katie Couric showed her to be a woman with a disorganzied mind, a woman who is in over her head, utterly unprepared for the twist her fate has taken.

Even committed Republicans who support McCain have to ask themselves if they really would take the risk of putting our country into Palin's hands. Sure, being VP doesn't necessarily take a lot of skills, but being President requires great intelligence and a clear-eyed world view, one untainted by religious fanaticism. Look at the mess we got with the under qualified Dubya, and even he seems smarter and less fanatical than Palin. McCain is 72 years old, with high cholesterol and high blood pressure; his father and grandfather each died of heart attacks at age 72. McCain's Vice President HAS to be ready to lead. And by lead, I am not referring to a full speed charge into Armageddon.

For those of you who don't know, Palin belongs to a fundamentalist church that believes the end of the world is near: that war, financial distress and famine will kill off the sinful non-believers, and that when this holocaust occurs all good Christians will be taking refuge in Alaska. Furthermore, her church conducts witch hunts -- they actually use prayer to locate "witches" in their community, then publicly brand them as witches, and hold them responsible for everything that goes wrong in town. (Honestly, I think the long winters must be getting to their minds.) You can go on YouTube and watch videos of Palin participating during sermons like this. She stands on the altar facing the members. The congregation stands with outstretched hands, trancelike, speaking in tounges while the priest prays to "keep Sarah safe from all forms of witchcraft."

Could you REALLY feel comfortable knowing that a woman who holds these beliefs would have the power to declare war and deploy nuclear missles?

An absolute and total joke. Shame of John McCain for putting his campaign and his country at risk. The October suprise should be Mr. McCain's announcement that Palin has stepped down for the good of the campaign and is being replaced with someone experienced and capable.

IN MY OPINION, I COULD TELL THAT THE INTERVIEW WAS PLANNED, AND UP TO CERTAIN POINT PRACTICED BEFORE HAND. THEY LOOKED LIKE THEY WERE INTERVIEWING MY GRANDMOTHER! Okay, so the right gets away with calling Newsweek a "liberal" magazine. Really? The article about Palin sure painted a pretty picture of her. In regard to the Wooten case(I refuse to use Troopergate), during the custody battle the Superior Court judge told Mayor Palin to back off. Why is there no reporting of that in the article?
Why on earth was there no coverage of the anti Palin rally held in Alaska? There was a larger turnout for the anti rally than her return to Alaska rally. Really?

I was offended by the suthor's putting Sarah Palin down because she was a beauty queen. It is my understanding that Sarah Palin participated in a beauty pageant to earn Scholarship money. As the mother of a daughter who is attending a private university with a pricetag of $47,000. a year, I would support my daughter if she entered a beauty pageant in an attempto to help with tuition expenses. You insinuate that it is not possible ot be beautiful and intelligent at the same time. Thiis is small a small minded and discrimatory attitude.

Senator McCain, you have climbed down into the same gutter as George W. and Karl in So. Carolina in 2000, when I supported your candidacy. You seemingly have learned the lessons well, but in the process you have dishonored your service to our country. Maybe if some of your advisors could not comb their own hair, they might have thought twice about leading you down the road of deception. It's a shame, but I must desert you and cast my lot with Obama.

Most people aren't feeling alienated by Palin, since most people won't vote for her or McCain.
