    Comment: Google doesn't need to dominate the cell phone industry from the start. With it's technology and economic clout they can work on making the 'perfect' cell phone first. And dominate the market next...

    Comment: If the ALL phone manufacturers would install Flash on their phones which works already -perfectly on most devices including the iPhone (if you hack them) then there would be no need to dominate the market, Adobe would already be the dominant player. I think that Google and Apple are just creating rehotoric that will die off when the press stops covering these types of stories. Wil Ortiz, Editor of ICAMD.org

    Comment: It is sad to read this kind of fear-mongering in such an established publication; open source does not mean that hackers will have free reign over your data, but the article makes it sound like that.
    If this does nothing more than inspire a competitive response from Apple, then WE are the winners.
    Apple's "cathedral" is still a selective and elitist empire that could use some competition.
