'Born Alive' Baloney

No matter what your position on abortion is, all people should agree that no abortions should be performed after the 24th week of pregnancy for any reason except to actually save the life of the mother. This must mean that a woman would die if the baby is not aborted. That very, very rarely occurs since the advent of C-sections. And if medical science determines that viability is even earlier than the 24th week of pregnancy then the marker should be set there.

Indeed a decent society would prohibit all abortions after the first trimester to keep the marker a safe distance from the point of viability while still allowing for an abortion in the later timeframe to save the mother's life.

I believe that abortion is an important issue in this election, just as important as the economy and the war. It is a shame that it is not argued in the debates or talked about more often. Life is extremely important. If we didn't have life, we wouldn't be here today! God gave us this great gift in the first place, so l think that we should fight to preserve it. We should respect all life and protect the unborn. I understand that many people in America support Obama, but I would like to pose an important question - How can we elect someone such as Obama to act as the protector of this great nation, when he won't even protect the defenseless of them all, the unborn child?

We have too many other issues besides "pro life, pro abortions" etc. How about working on the economy so poor people would do better at having and raising their chilfdren? As a pro life person, I'm also concerned about too many of our citizens dying in wars, killing themselves and their families when the economy is so bad, dying because they can't afford health care. Lets move on past the abortion issue, which is minor in numbers compared to other threats to "life". As a pro lifer too, I will also ask people to do their best to prevent pregnancies that don't don't want.... a lot of prevention is successful if done diligently and correctly. Practice control and accurate birth control. A lot of people I know with unwanted pregnancies didn't try to prevent them or were just careless. There are some exceptions of course.

Soros made his first billion in 1992 by shorting the British pound with leveraged billions in financial bets, and became known as the man who broke the Bank of England. He broke it on the backs of hard-working British citizens who immediately saw their homes severely devalued and their life savings cut drastically in comparative worth almost overnight.

When the Asian Financial Crisis of 1997 threatened to spread globally, George Soros was right in the thick of it. Soros was accused by the Malaysian Prime Minister of causing the collapse with his monetary machinations, and he was branded in Thailand as an ???economic war criminal??? who ???sucks the blood from the people.??? Right in the middle of this crisis, Soros dashed off his book, The Crisis of Global Capitalism, which demanded a ???third way??? toward economic stability.

WHAT exactly does a COMMUNITY ORGANIZER DO? Barack Obamas rise has left many Americans asking themselves that question. Here is a big part of the answer: Community organizers INTIMIDATE BANKS into making HIGH-RISK LOANS to customers with POOR CREDIT.

In the name of fairness to minorities, community organizers OCCUPY private offices, CHANT inside bank lobbies, and CONFRONT executives at their homes - and thereby FORCE financial institutions to direct hundreds of millions of dollars in mortgages to low-credit customers.

In other words, community organizers HELP TO UNDERMINE THE US ECONOMY by pushing the banking system into a SINKHOLE OF BAD LOANS. And OBAMA has spent YEARS TRAINING AND FUNDING THE ORGANIZERS WHO DO IT.
THE seeds of todays financial meltdown lie in the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) - a law passed in 1977 and MADE RISKIER by unwise amendments and regulatory rulings in later decades.

CRA was meant TO ENCOURAGE banks to MAKE LOANS TO HIGH-RISK BORROWERS, often minorities living in unstable neighborhoods. That has provided an opening to radical groups like ACORN to abuse the law by forcing banks to make hundreds of millions of dollars in subprime loans to often uncreditworthy poor and minority customers.

Any bank that wants to expand or merge with another has to show it has complied with CRA - and APPROVAL CAN BE HELD UP BY COMPLAINTS FILED by groups like ACORN. In fact, intimidation tactics, public charges of racism and threats to use CRA to block business expansion have enabled ACORN to extract hundreds of millions of dollars in loans and contributions from Americas financial institutions.

Banks already overexposed by these shaky loans were pushed still further in the wrong direction when government-sponsored Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac began buying up their bad loans and offering them for sale on world markets.
Fannie and Freddie acted in response to Clinton administration pressure to boost homeownership rates among minorities and the poor. However compassionate the motive, the result of this systematic disregard for normal credit standards has been financial disaster.

ONE key pioneer of ACORNs subprime-loan shakedown racket was Madeline TALBOTT - an ACTIVIST WITH EXTENSIVE TIES TO BARACK OBAMA. She was also in on the ground floor of the disastrous turn in Fannie Maes mortgage policies. Long the director of Chicago ACORN, Talbott is a specialist in DIRECT ACTION - organizers term for their MILITANT TACTICS OF INTIMIDATION AND DISRUPTION. Perhaps her most famous stunt was leading a group of ACORN protesters breaking into a meeting of the Chicago City Council to push for a living wage law, shouting in defiance as she was arrested for mob action and disorderly conduct. But her real legacy may be her drive to push banks into making risky mortgage loans.

The extent of Obamas ties to Acorn has not been recognized. We find some important details in an article in the journal Social Policy entitled, Case Study: Chicago - The Barack Obama Campaign, by Toni Foulkes, a Chicago ACORN leader and a member of ACORNs National Association Board. The odd thing about this article is that Foulkes is forced to protect the technically NON-PARTISAN status of ACORNs get-out-the-vote campaigns, even as HE DOES EVERYTHING IN HIS POWER to give ACORN credit for HELPING its favorite son win the critical 2004 primary that secured OBAMA the Democratic nomination to the U.S. SENATE.

Before giving us a tour of ACORNs pro-Obama, but somehow NON-PARTISAN election activities, Foulks treats us to a brief history of OBAMAS TIES TO ACORN. While most press accounts imply that Obama just happened to be at the sort of public-interest law firm that would take ACORNs MOTOR VOTER case, Foulkes claims that ACORN specifically SOUGHT OUT Obamas representation in the motor voter case, remembering Obama from the days when he worked with Madelaine Talbot - leader of ACORN back then. And while many reports speak of Obamas post-law school role organizing PROJECT VOTE in 1992, Foulkes makes it clear that this project was undertaken in direct partnership with ACORN. Foulkes then stresses OBAMAS YEARLY SERVICE as a key figure in ACORNs LEADERSHIP-TRAINING SEMINARS.

At least a few news reports have briefly mentioned OBAMAS ROLE in TRAINING ACORNs leaders, but none that I know of have said what Foulkes reports next: that OBAMAS LONG SERVICE WITH ACORN led many members to serve as the volunteer SHOCK TROOPS OF OBAMAS EARLY POLITICAL CAMPAIGNS - his initial 1996 State Senate campaign, and his failed bid for Congress in 2000 (Foulkes confuses the dates of these two campaigns.) With Obama having personally helped train a new cadre of Chicago ACORN leaders, by the time of Obamas 2004 U.S. SENATE CAMPAIGN, OBAMA and ACORN were OLD FRIENDS, says Foulkes.

So along with the reservoir of POLITICAL SUPPORT that came to Obama through his close ties with JEREMIAH WRIGHT, Father Michael PFLEGER, and other Chicago black churches, Chicago ACORN appears to have PLAYED A MAJOR ROLE IN OBAMAs POLITICAL ADVANCE. Sure enough, a bit of digging into Obamas years in the Illinois State Senate indicates STRONG CONCERN WITH ACORN'S SIGNATURE ISSUES, as well as meetings with ACORN and the introduction by OBAMA of ACORN-friendly LEGISLATION on the living wage and banking practices. You begin to wonder whether, in his Springfield days, Obama might have best been characterized as THE SENATOR FROM ACORN.

Obama DID block the Illinois bill to protect babies that survived an abortion and were left to die. His reason is that the wording in the bill did not adequately protect Roe v. Wade. When the news came out about his voting record for this bill in Illinois (and he started getting flak about), he said that if the Illinois vers of this bill was worded like the Federal version of the bill that passed later on he would have voted in favor of the bill. Problem as,both the Illinois version and the Federal version of the bill is put side by side they have the exact wording as the other. His excuse he proported was proven wrong with the physical comparison of the two. Obama is a liar and will do whatever it takes (he will also cheat. . .and throw values, morals, ethics, etc. out the window) to get in the White House because he was taught the philosophy of Saul Alinsky on the South Side of Chicago when he was a community organizer . . . which promotes that such actions are okay because they believe the ends justify the means.
