    RoboHate.

The McCain/Palin campaign is now combining our analog (or digital, cell) telephones with computers, and has produced RoboHate calls against his opponent, to enliven hatred wherever possible.

Hate is not good for the country. And McCain/Palin uses hatred too often. However, McCain/Palin stumbles grossly on unity.

This country needs unity in difficult times. Yes We Can. Obama/Biden is right for this country right now.

In a few weeks we will make a choice that will decide our future.
I follow an economist named Bob Proctor. He has called the top and bottom of every market crash since the 70s correctly.
Also, he perfectly predicted the current real estate market meltdown and the picture he paints about what will happen in the next couple years
is terrifying. He thinks it will be worse then the great depression.
The banks in the U.S. are going under one after the other. Countrywide ,Bear Stearns, Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch , Fanny and Freddy Mae ,AIG
The government took them over because they are essentially bankrupt. Even with the goverment nationalizing hundreds of billions of dollars in debt the stock market is crashing
the credit markets are frozen and all of us may suffer beyond anything in the last 80 years.
McCain just like Bush " doesn't understand the economy".
That not just my opinion its his own words. Not only does he not understand how to fix it but he does not understand exactly what is broken.
It is no surprise that he doesn't. The people that make up these securities use complex mathematical models very few people understand.
Bush and McCain both can take the credit for this mess since they helped deregulate the laws that were protecting us.
Bush's economic advisor Phil Graham wrote the deregulation bill that allowed banks to take huge risks with all of our future.
Now, Phil Graham is the head of McCain's economic policy. He is also McCain's choice for the next secretary of the treasury.
No one in this country can afford for that to happen. The last time Bush met with his economic advisors was in March. He didnt realize that anything was wrong. Phil Graham had the guts to say that we are in a mental recession after he helped create the worst economy meltdown in our lifetime. Check out this link to the truth http://my.barackobama.com/keatingvideo
It will take the best and brightest minds in the world to get us out of this nightmare. As bad as Bush has done, McCain would be
even more destructive because things are in much worse shape. The next president will not inherit a surplus like Bush did but a crashing economy and a 11,600,000,000,000 (trillion) dollars deficit. Most of it Bush created and it will take decades to pay it back.
If you do what you have always done then you will get what you have always got.
When it comes to policy Bush and McCain are the same 90 percent of the time.
So why are the polls even close then ?
Mccains team just said they no longer want to talk about the economy.Instead they would like to spend time talking about obama
which means running the biggest smear campaign in history.
They think they can just tell you lies and you wont be smart enough to see through it
Let's teach him we are smarter than that .
    Elect Obama Biden 2008

The government took them over because they are essentially bankrupt. If they didn't the entire financially system would virtually shut down, the stock market would crash and we would suffer beyond what any of us have seen before.

The chairman of McCains campaign recently said that people don't vote on issues they vote on a personality composite. Which means he is trying to sell you personality instead of results.

In response to rockye's comment : I have agree with you in Pat Buchanans statement. He's an idiot for thinking that she won the debate...
Rachel Maddow hit the nail on the head with her closing statements with Pat Buchanan.

IN MY OPINION, PAT BUCANON SHOULD GET A JOB AT FOXNEW! HOW CAN THAT IDIOT SAY THAT PALIN WON THE DEBATE? I TELL YOU. HE DID IT BECAUSE HE IS FOR THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IN THIS ELECTION. HE IS ONE OF REPROCRATS (NEW WORD I INVENTED) THAT IS FOR THE RICH AND THE HELL WITH THE MIDDLE CLASS.

PAT B. KNOWS BETTER THAN THAT. HE SHOULD WAIT FOR THE PUBLIC'S RESPONSE WHICH INDICATE THAT BIDEN WON THE DEBATE. BUCANNON IS USING HIS OWN LIMITED STANDARS TO JUDGE THE WINNER. AT ANY RATE IT IS HIS OPINION AND HE SHOULD KNOW THAT HE A ZERO TO THE LEFT OF THE DECIMAL POINT. THE AMERICAN VOTER ARE NOT STUDPID. I DO NOT THINK FOR ONE MINUTE THAT THE AMERICAN VOTERS WILL LISTEN TO AN IDIOT LIKE HIM! BIDEN WON!

Did anyone notice that Biden's explanation of his change on his approach in judicial selection had him evolving toward ignoring the constitution while selection a judge to uphold it???

    Botheration Debate...Marry come up !!
I am really stunned how such conflict of interests was allowed at the decisive moment, when it comes to the pinch ! What's buzzer me the most, was no disclosure at all from the debate commission, about who is... Gwen Ifill !These "honorable" (?!) people have kept a perfect conspiring secrecy, counting the Americans are stupid (?!!!)...Ugly thing and horrible behaviour in an hostile environment for Sarah Palin ! Regretfully, I am sad to see a very sick PBS, funded by the US Congress and Americans contributors . Most of
journalist of this organization are losing the ground on the favor of the left wing radical groups or extremists, some kind of terrorists' buddies ! The PBS didn't take any revealing position regarding ACORN, a criminal organisation which was infiltrated by radical leftist and communist individuals, trained by Obama with a clear subversive target to change the real election output by frauds !
All my life I was a fighter against the East European Communism ! Nevertheless, I will be a fighter here, for Freedom and Justice ! Because I know what means the Socialism-Communism and Nazi...
Maybe, some journalists know nothing on this subject, because they have no training on the job ! It is but the sober truth ! Something is rotten in the state of ...Denmark !!

Ok, so she is forgiven; good for her. That takes care of the next life.

Still haven't convinced me she can govern in this one.

Sarah Palin is way over her head. Based on her interviews, she has demonstrated she is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. She cannot even answer a simple question like "what magazines/newspapers she read to inform her worldview"? If McCain wins, Palin will be a heartbeat away from the presidency. Way to go McCain, you sure know how to put your Country First

Sarah Palin is a fraud. She was pregnant before she got married, has had an affair with one of her husband's friends, her 19 year old son is rumored to have serious drug problems, her 17 year old unwed daughter is pregnant, and she has used her political power to get even with people who disagree with her, yet all she talks about is being a "good Christian" and doing God's will. As a Christian she is a hypocrite who can not walk her talk, and as a politician she is completely unqualified to be Vice President. Her interview with Katie Couric showed her to be a woman with a disorganzied mind, a woman who is in over her head, utterly unprepared for the twist her fate has taken.

Even committed Republicans who support McCain have to ask themselves if they really would take the risk of putting our country into Palin's hands. Sure, being VP doesn't necessarily take a lot of skills, but being President requires great intelligence and a clear-eyed world view, one untainted by religious fanaticism. Look at the mess we got with the under-qualified Dubya, and even he seems smarter and less fanatical than Palin. McCain is 72 years old, with high cholesterol and high blood pressure; his father and grandfather each died of heart attacks at age 72. McCain's Vice President HAS to be ready to lead. And by lead, I am not referring to a full speed charge into Armageddon.

For those of you who don't know, Palin belongs to a fundamentalist church that believes the end of the world is near: that war, financial distress and famine will kill off the sinful non-believers, and that when this holocaust occurs all good Christians will be taking refuge in Alaska. Furthermore, her church conducts witch hunts -- they actually use prayer to locate "witches" in their community, then publicly brand them as witches, and hold them responsible for everything that goes wrong in town. (Honestly, I think the long winters must be getting to their minds.) You can go on YouTube and watch videos of Palin participating during sermons like this. She stands on the altar facing the members. The congregation stands with outstretched hands, trancelike, speaking in tounges while the priest prays to "keep Sarah safe from all forms of witchcraft."

Could you REALLY feel comfortable knowing that a woman who holds these beliefs would have the power to declare war and deploy nuclear missiles?

  • Posted By: Sam10 @ 10/01/2008 11:39:14 PM

Sarah is your girl next door. Is that what the Left so despises. That the belief they have been posturing all along has come to be, and it turns out to be Sarah Palin. Instead of embracing her the only thing they can do is revolt against the very idea they promoted whole heartedly.

  • Posted By: Alongwayback @ 10/01/2008 9:03:16 PM

I think that Sarah Palin will fall flat on her face tomorrow night in her debate with Biden. While she may be considered good in debates, they are not considering that those debates were with lesser opponents in what amounts to a small town election where nearly anything goes. That said, Palin is now on the national stage and that is why she is stumbling in interview after interview. She has become overwhelmed by how intense and how very different this type of race is, she is slowly realizing that she has to be all things to all people at the same time and I don't think she is handling it properly, because she has never had this kind of real experience. Perhaps down the road, she will recover from this, but I don't think it is going to happen as soon as the Republicans need her to. I said it before and I'll say it again, she will be a deer in the headlights of Biden's speeding vehicle!!

Sarah will be an excellent and articulate debater she will just do fine.
