The biggest whopper is the insult McCain directed toward Americans and his using Palin to gain votes. Does he think Americans are stupid enough to believe Palin to be President? I feel sorry for her in that she embarrassed herself by accepting the Vice Presidential slot. McCain needs treatment for PTSD. His impulsive actions are very similar to many combat veterans.

Did his father, Admiral McCain, only make provisions for his son to get out of the POW camp, and leave the other POW 's ?

Already, people are buying into the guilt by association with a man who was opposed too
Republican policy FORTY YEARS AGO WHEN OBAMA WAS 8 YEARS OLD. They met
when they were on a board in Chicago that work for more food for the needy. That may go down
in history as the longest stretch of the immagination--but the uninformed swallow it down.

    The Antichrist!:
When George Soros failed to obtain the election of his candidate, John Kerry, in 2004, he brooded for a while, even said he might get out of politics altogether, but he just couldn???t stop himself. He has stated publicly that he wishes to burst the ???bubble of American supremacy,??? because he says our preeminence in the world is a detriment to global ???equilibrium.??? So far, he has failed, but he keeps on trying.

And Mr. Soros has made no secret either of the fact that he sees the shortest way to effect political shake-ups, what he terms ???regime changes,??? is through very difficult economic conditions.

America has not yet felt the full force of Soros style economic shock treatment. But others have.

Soros made his first billion in 1992 by shorting the British pound with leveraged billions in financial bets, and became known as the man who broke the Bank of England. He broke it on the backs of hard-working British citizens who immediately saw their homes severely devalued and their life savings cut drastically in comparative worth almost overnight.

When the Asian Financial Crisis of 1997 threatened to spread globally, George Soros was right in the thick of it. Soros was accused by the Malaysian Prime Minister of causing the collapse with his monetary machinations, and he was branded in Thailand as an ???economic war criminal??? who ???sucks the blood from the people.??? Right in the middle of this crisis, Soros dashed off his book, The Crisis of Global Capitalism, which demanded a ???third way??? toward economic stability.

Wake up, America, before it is too late!!!!

I am a non American who happened to watch the Biden vs. Palin Debate at CSPAN. I thought
I find Biden's answers more factual backed by details while Palin smart in avoiding questions
answers she does not have a clue.

Likewise, as viewers may have noted a sick looking baby was rushed towards her after the debate
which I thought a form of exploitation to get the so called "symphaty vote". It was past 9:00 pm the
baby should be at home sound asleep. If she really is a "family woman " why use the baby to get voter's symphaty. I thought what she is doing is inhuman, a form of exploitation, no form of symphaty in her heart
using a sick baby to promote a sort of "mother's image"

The biggest mistake on this discussion is the fact that any of you actually think something will change after the election. How soon we forget. People stand up and take notice. Care about each other, forget about a world where the government supposedly watching out for our best interests. Politicians want to be: a) re-elected, b) given money to vote for certain things, c) made to feel more important than the rest of us.

Please just go home and sit in front of the TV and experience your life the way you have been programmed to. I'll be in the real world living, just not between the hours of 8 - 5 .

Normally I would agree w/ you, but not this election...You put Obama in the White house, Reid & Dodd w/ the Senate, and Pelosi with her pal Barney with the House my oh my...you won't recognize thiscountry in 2 years. Of course you won't here that in the MSM they have their own agenda...check out this post:
As to the question you asked "Why won't Newsweek report this?" Because Newsweek has an agenda to fix this election for Obama so they will only write articles that reflect well on the Democrats and will churn out Bush-bahing, McCain-bashing and Palin-bashing articles as many and as fast as they possible can. Newsweak is a sham, not worth the paper it is written on anymore.

No wonder the Democrats think they can do no wrong since no matter what they do the MSM will write about it to make it appear to be the Republicans fault. MSM Bias is out of control. CNN is as bad as newsweek. CNN withholds information that would give a balanced story...I watched them do it on the so called "troopergate"...they withheld information they knew about Wooten while pointing accusatory fingers at Palin while they fanned the flames.

Will these guys ever tell the whole truth?

    • Posted By: MissWorld @ 09/30/2008 4:37:58 PM

      no, they are politicians.

  • Posted By: sugarcoop @ 09/30/2008 12:51:06 AM

Is it lying or is it trying to regurgitate all the stuff their staff tells them. I am thinking that Perot's graphs and charts would be helpful now. Do we really learn antying in these debates. The only thing you learned no matter dem/Rep was Russia's power in their occupation of Georigia and those oil pipelines. Besides that I do not think anyones point came across at all.

  • Posted By: fedupwith IT @ 09/29/2008 12:23:04 PM

Will our politixcans ever quit lieing??

  • Posted By: Spacer @ 09/25/2008 10:33:06 PM

    How about this for a whopper? Hopefully, McCain's bald-faced lie to David Letterman will end his chances to mislead the country for four years;

McCain claimed he couldn't be on Letterman's show because he needed to fly back to Washington to deal with the financial crisis. But it turns out McCain was giving an interview to Katie Couric. McCain's capacity to tell lies without caring whether he's caught makes him a pathological liar. Is this really what we need in a president?

    • Posted By: tryingtodecide @ 09/27/2008 9:59:47 PM

Actually, McCain was going to Washington and had both Letterman and Couric booked and found he could only do 1 and chose Katie Couric instead.

    • Posted By: SPORTLOCK09 @ 09/26/2008 4:33:50 PM

Hey, they're both liars. Why else would anyone want to be a politician? Ever looked at the criminal records of our congress? SCARY!!!!!

I say vote for Obama simple because John McCain has convinced me he is a total dumbass. Everyone can relate to that, and it wouldn't be a hypocritical statement.

  • Posted By: tryingtodecide @ 09/27/2008 9:49:29 PM

Where can we go to get UNBIASED info on the candidates? Fox is pro-McCain and CNN and MNBC is pro-Obama. I don't know who to belive!!! I'm leaning towards McCain because of experience. Obama may do well, if he had a few more years in Washington.

  • Posted By: rodell @ 09/27/2008 10:26:58 AM

It's good to have some one that will post this information so a person can make a vote that is basted on fact instead of Fiction.

It's good to have someone who has the brains to get this information and post it. People can read this and make a make a more informed dissicion on thier vote. TY

Newage Lightbulb, you must be getting a bit dim as you plagiarized mkmmkm's comment and added a few lines of your own. Next time try and come up with your own idea.

    • Posted By: minutetominute @ 09/26/2008 5:13:47 PM

You talkin' to me! just kidding. I really don't even know the reference to mkmmkm. Is that a poster? I apologize if my beliefs were similar to someone elses but they are my beliefs. If you are refering to my post attempting to support the purpose of government, I will have to admit that it was the first post I have done in my life and I do not know the proper rules of engagement.
