Took a lot of guts to kick his disabled first wife to the curb for a beer heiress 17 years his junior. Put down the crack pipe.

    Holly,

Speaking of smart Americans, are you including Plain? Just askin'.

    Chuck, John, Sebs:

I'm certain you all voted for and opined passionately on behalf of Bush in '00 and '04. So what gives you any credibility now? Your party has RUINED this country. And William F. Buckley rolls in his grave at the thought of imbeciles like you wrapping themselves in the conservative banner. You have about 30 IQ points between you.

As usual, you can expect nothing more that an act from Obama. Nice to see he has his priorities straight. Perhaps he forgot that he's still a member of the Senate?

If McCain doesn't show and they have to cancel the debates, Obama should pay for the air time to hold a town hall meeting. It would make him look very Presidential.

I'm watching whether McCain shows up or not. It might be more interesting without him then Obama can lay his plans out methodically.

That old desert fox. McCain has created a High Noon and the whole country is gonna be watching.

      Old is right.

He's making rash decisions. Lack of forethought combined with stubbornness is a hallmark of senility.

Who really wants to vote Palin in as President?

One sided debate...that should be pretty hard to prepare for.

Put Palin to substitute for McSame. That would be an "a$$" kicking - poor Palin.

And by injecting presidential politics into this economic disaster, you think that McCain is putting America above his own political aspirations? What exactly is McCain doing in DC? He's not involved with the Finance Committee. This is just another political ploy. McCain's been in DC for over 25 years. There has been plenty of time to work on this problem as it was developing. He did nothing except vote for less regulation. I'm done with this and am switching to Obama. At least he's a smart guy and has the judgment to pick a running mate who could potentially run the country at such a crucial time.

I am a crook, I put my country first. I only steal from Americans.

I guess McCain just isn't ready for this. It's not like he is actually doing anything about the financial crisis and even says that he doesn't really understand it. What's he going to do, cheerlead? Fat lot of good that will do, his own party doesn't agree with his position.
