Palin Is Ready? Please.

IF PALIN WINS THE UPCOMING DEBATE, I WILL WALK FROM IL TO AK, (maybe). IT WAS DISRESPECTFUL OF MCCAIN TO CHOSE THIS INDIVIDUAL TO HELP HIM GOVERN (should he win). HIS CHOICE SPEAKS VOLUMES ABOUT HIS LACK OF JUDGMENT AND CHARACTER.

How can a headline be so misleading? PICKING PALIN WAS UNPATRIOTIC. I guess the libs don't remember how the cried about unfair treatment when they said that just because they didnt support the war didn't mean they were not patriotic. But I uess Newsweek got what they wanted. Me to read their page. To bad I will never buy their product or anyone who advertises with them

Sarah Palin is perhaps unqualified to look good in the salons where Mr Zakaria likes to shine. She is extremely qualified as VP. Please don't call this piece an "analysis"; it's an opinion piece which mainly shows the prejudices of its author.

Duh, Sarah did not get picked because of her vast national political experience. She is a real person, a charismatic honest politician who believes in the principals that has made our country great.....and has shown that she makes the correct decisions. Obama lies at ever turn, he will do anything to get elected and will do anything to stay in power.....he has shown this even if the press will not.......he took money from fannie when he knew it was filled with fraud.

No matter what Fareed doesnt have a clue Zakaria says, appointing Palin to VP was a spectacular move. I have heard democratic women who were hardened supporters Hillary, already say publicly that a woman in office is all they wanted. Those same women will vote on the McCain/Palin ticket because they want to see a woman at a height unseen in national politics. Yes Palin is unexperienced but Obama is still trying to forget high school prom. I think Obama would do fine as president but I dont want a person who is new to politics running my country. Have you ever heard the saying "We learn from our mistakes", those mistakes are usually my by politicans in the senate or in there local offices, but as president. Palin will bring in more votes than Biden if you think I am wrong let me know why you think Biden will actually get any votes for Obama.

This is really surprising news considering the New York Times backs Obama. And, it's absolutely Amazing considering Barack Obama has no more qualifications than Sarah Palin that they say this. So what makes Obama more worthy than Palin? And, I find it amazing that Obama accuses John McCain being George Bush III when in actuality Barack Obama would be George Bush III. Spend, spend spend.

To the Republicans, evangelicas, whatever you call yourselves, please answer this:: Okay, you have run the country for 8 years, we are now the laughing stock of the world, we have no credibility, you still talk to poor American working people as if they are nothing and because they didn't get to where you are, we are lazy and don't deserve social programs and money taken from those who earned it, WELL, we have all learned that you earned it dishonestly.

GOD is trying to get you on the right track of the Bible that you so love and preach from but you do everything it says not to do. But don't worry your preachers will be you down below to counsel you.

An intelligent person with this country's best interest can see McCain, by his own will, is selfish and only thinking of himself. He has ruined Palins political career for his own because she would have been ready in a few years but he didn't care it's all about him. He has followers who don't want to help us poor lazy Americans but they now want our money to help them out.

I say let them fall. We know how to live without nothing, they don't and they need a hard lessoned learned because they use us and use us and try to talk to us like we are dumb. If you voted for McCain twice, you do not have good judgment, that's for sure.

Obama may not have experience, but he surrounds himself smartly and has ran a campaign for two years with no disruption like Hillary's and McCain's and didn't go bankrupt like Hillary and McCain, which the latter the press is not telling you about.

I would have to say that picking Palin was a great choice for VP. I only say that because I have read many many articles and websites about women who were supporters for Hillary are supporting McCain now because of his Palin pick. Weither you want to beleive it or not most women democratic or republican have admitted just wanting a woman in one of the highest positions in our nation. Also Obama is just as inexperienced as Palin he is still thinking about high school prom. I beleive Obama would be an okay president but i just have to think about the old saying, "Making mistakes is learning", but not when it is president of my country. Most politicians make mistakes early on in there terms, weither it is as a senator or local state representative and we have had enough mistakes in our leaders. The last thing I would say is do you actually think Biden will draw more votes than Palin, it is obvious that Biden doesn't draw even the smallest interest for the country. In retrospec though I dont like Obama or Palin both for the same reason, Experience.

A year ago Obama didn't know any more about foreign policy than Palin does now. Too bad the liberal press doesn't give her enough time to study all issues like he got a chance to do before they throw her to the wolves. She may even be able to make intelligent comments without having to use a teleprompter.

Let's see. The Democrats have a far left liberal with almost no experience who has done nothing but say what he told to say, but he does sound good. The Democrats have a VIce Presidential candidate who walks and talks most of the time with his foot in his mouth It could only come from a progressive (radical left) writer that Obama who has accomplished nothing as a community activist and organizer, a State Senator and a US Senator is the least qualified to answer the phone at 3:00 amd at the White and competently make a decision and have enough time to call his handlers to know what to do and say. Duh!

Here you go Palin fans...What has been exposed of Palin is called the Peter Principle. When a person is properly vetted, they go through an interview process. When a person is improperly vetted, things come out sometimes in the worst possible fashion. When you saw Palin being interviewed by Couric, the answers that were given by her were unscripted. Unfortunately, questions were not asked of Palin like Couric and the three other interviews she gave as part of the vetting process. If she was asked anything like that before she was introduced, she would never have made the cut.

Sure you can practice for the debate. Sure you can even memorize some things, and perhaps we may see some improvement on her answers Thursday. However it does not change the fact she has gone way over her head with her abilities.

Btw George Will, David Frum, and David Brooks and Kathleen Parker have asked her to step down. Zakaria is now joined in the chorus of concern. I think that everyone should be taking a close look and think about one thing. Do you think based upon her interviews, that you can look at someone in their eye and say, I think Palin is presidential, and can take over in a moments notice?
