      maybe it would be better for you to move to those countries since their they tell you who the leader will be. Here in the US you are supposed to pick the person that will run the country the best. But you only seem to want to vote for who they tell you to whether they are qualified or not.

    Why exactly is Back Obama more qualified Sarah Palin? His Russia-Georgia gaffes ought to have been a red flag- and those gaffes came after the world was made aware of his '300 foreign policy experts.' Was Jimmy Carter more qualified to president? He was surprised to learn that the Soviet leadership were evil and duplicitous. What makes Palin less qualified than Obama or Carter?

    Comparisons to Truman is valid I think. The man had all the advisors of FDR but still ended up using all the nukes in our arsenol, the only President of ANY country to ever do so! Would Palin follow Truman and nuke Russia and get us nuked? We know she "won't blink".

    If John McCain is going to be president, is he going to take a timeout if there are two crisis happening at the same time? Or is he going to hand over one of them to his VP, the second--most powerful person in office, to handle it?

    Either choice is pretty discouraging.

    I would love to ask McCain if this women would make a better President then Mitt Romney. What ever you think of his politics you have to admit that the guy has a basic knowledge of government. I think this womans youngest daughter would do a better job at President. The little girls decision making wouldn't be as scary. As far as McCain goes, why replace Dopey with Grumpy ?????

    I guess Bill Clinton, Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter should also have been disqualified. Maybe the Democrats should dump Obama and get Hilary back. or did she have too much experience? I forgot Obama has been campaiging and that gives him foreign policy experience. How about we bring George Bush for a third term? He's got the most experience. Whoops, forgot to mention that John McCain has 20 years more experience than Obama. I wish the media would stop spouting candidates talking points and do some real reporting.       Actually smart Republicans are afraid of her too. why because too many underemployed, uneducated, people might vote for her because she talks like them and they can relate to her. I want someone who is smart, who can think on her feet or at least be smart enough to keep her moith shut when she clearly has no idea what the answer is, what a politic answer is, or what a McCain answer might be.

    it doesn't matter whether or not republicans are owned by corporations or whether people believe that jesus is gonna come back and send muslims to hell. what's important is that we follow our leaders, no matter what, into whatever situation they feel necessary to send us into. we are simply tools for the rulers to play with and i'm willing to die or languish in a pow camp forever if john mccain and sarah palin send me. praise the lord, pass the ammunition.

    This is a typical Democratic Party press release, in one of the Party's most reliable media outlets (which boasted after the 2004 election that they raised John Kerry's vote share by 10% points through their failure to report on what they termed his incompetence and lack of qualifications to be President). If the author is actually wants to be considered independent of the Party he can demonstrate it by devoted far more space to the constant mistakes of Sen. Biden, who repeatedly contradicts the positions of his Presidential candidate, and consisatently makes strange and worrisome errors such as saying that FDR was President in 1929. Biden is a much more serious risk as VP, based on his performance thus far in the campaign, his crazy foreign policy ideas such as partitioning Iraq into three, and his lack of any executive experience watsoever.

    Judging from what I've heard her say in interviews and what the vetting process has turned up.
    I think McCain showed poor judgement selecting her. He has done a disservice to everyone
    involved. She is not qualified.
