Oh, please stop mocking that poor misunderstood celebrity Sarah Palin. She looks so FABULOUS in those glasses, after all. Just close your eyes and repeat after me... She is The One. Adored by crowds, risen to great heights overnight... She is The One.

Bwahahahaha! Don't you hate it when your own "celebrity" talking point blows up in your face? NEXT!

The Title should not be what African Americans will do ?

Because African Americans have been getting on with this Political Process from Day One and they will Roll with the Punches.

Lest we Forget African Americans have Voted for [White Presidents] since Day One of the Voting Process.

    The Bigger Question is....

What will happen if John McCain and Sarah Palin make it to the Oval Office, is what should Concern [All Americans] Especially White Americans !!!

The Reprecussions will be Felt All Over America !!!

In your Warped and Twisted Mind....

Any Semi-Senile [Old White Man] will do and Any Dumb & Brainless Brainless [White Female] will do !!

Thats exactly why we have the National Debt and Counting, 2 Wars, with More in sight, All Financed by China, until they say [ENOUGH]

I can't wait until Russia, China, India & Pakistan [All Nuclear Powered Nations] say Enough is Enough..

We'll lose and McCain & Palin are perfect to incite the 1st Nuclear World War !!!

    Any White Administration will do...Huh

You may soon get a [McCain-Giuliani] Ticket...

There are Change in VP Staus Rumblings going on in [Camp McCain]

Paired with Sarah Palin's absence from Friday night's Presidential debate, this photo-op of the McCain's boarding their campaign plane that afternoon for Mississippi is phenomenally awkward.

Given that the "visual vernacular" in a photo like this tends to reference the presidential and vice-presidential couple combined with the fact John, Cindy, Sarah and First Dude have been stuck together lately like super glue, this shot of Giuliani and Judy Nathan is particularly attention grabbing.

Typically, I would caution anyone from assuming, based on a photo like this, that McCain was even thinking of throwing Palin overboard. Considering how McCain not only trotted out Giuliani this way, but also lined him up against Biden as McCain's main post-debate spinmaster, though, it almost destines the photo to raise such speculation.

But then again, punitive acting out -- in this case, temporarily "elevating" Giuliani in order to publicly humiliate Palin for embarrassing McCain with her dismal interview with Katie Couric -- is also consistent with how McCain flies.

Obama is clearly going for the votes of thses people on main street as he says who are about to lose their homes because of the mortage crisis. I think he has a chance to get most of those votes. Why? Because these people in many cases have shown their judgement is not that great. What I mean is Obama is just like the lender that convinced them they could make that payment even though comman sense said they could not. He is blowing so much smoke that these poor soles in their time of crisis have no chance. I'm telling you the guy missed his calling. He is a used car saleman if I ever saw one. Tell them what they want to hear. If you don't know the answer just blow some smoke and change the subject. The guy is a master. Not as good as Bill Clinton, but still pretty darn good.

You logic is strained. But not strained as your wallet will be after $700 Billion goes to the snake oil salesment of Wall Street. Unregulated capitalism and the Repubican Party have been thoroughly discredited. Every bad mortgage had poor judgement from both the borrower and the lender. The difference is that the lender is professionally trained in financial services and is supposed to know better. Step aside and let the adults take the reins for a few years, junior.

An excerpt from this article: Linda Wright, 34, a nurse's assistant from Houston. "You think white people were just going to turn over the keys to the most important job in the land without a fight?"

Hey Linda, enough with the White Establishment trash talk. It was white voters in Iowa and and New Hampshire that guaranteed Obama's early primary survival. And in case you didn't know, African Americans make up less than 15% of the U.S. population. Most of the people fighting FOR Obama are in fact white. In fact, the reason that Obama is so popular is because he explicitly does NOT share your world view that somehow power is something to be "taken" from whites. I certainly hope you aren't anticipating President Obama to "stick it to the man" because you will be sorely disappointed when he moves beyond that old, stale racial divide. Maybe you can follow him there someday.

Seriously, why should we care if ex-cons and gang members feel disenfranchised? They choose to break the law and live a life of crime -- no one has forced them to do that. Oprah Winfrey came from nothing. Will Smith and Tiger Woods came from middle-class families. Now these three are the richest, most powerful celebrities in America. Even if Obama loses, the glass ceiling for African-Americans has been shattered!

Anyone considering rioting please read my two books Rioting for Dummies and the Joy of Rioting. You will find a number of helpful suggestions such as: 1. Plan ahead. 2. Make sure that the city does not have a Republican mayor. 3. Location. Location. Location. Read Obama's website for officially approved businesses to ransack. 4. Diversify. If you all steal the same things then you won't get a good price the next day. 5. Avoid perishable goods as electricity is likely to be down for a few days. 6. Practice random acts of kindness. If you see that someone has overburdened themselves then given them a hand. 7. Eat a good
meal before going out to the riot. Take a Power Bar. 8. Do not talk to reporters from Fox News channel. 9. Take a flashlight, rope, and knife. 10. Do not count on public transportation. You are gonna need a car. Check out my The Art of Carjacking on this one. 11. Have fun

ok....ok.....let me get this straight.......as of September 29th 2008, there were roughly 305,288,679 people in the U.S.....(give or take a few).....and of that number 12.5% are black,....putting the black (and part black) population at roughly 38 million people.....(big number). so if Obama loses there will be 38 million pissed off blacks because a guy that became black when he was in college didn't become president?????? and how is it that roughly 267 million people who have the right to vote anyway they want are now openly ridiculed in the media because they aren't sensitive enough to the 'black plight' and have somehow become the permanent baggage handlers for the black community's failure to integrate with the other races in this country? more importantly, HOW IS IT THAT 12.5% OF THE POPULATION REQUIRES A 100% OF THIS NATION'S ATTENTION??????????????

Here we go already. Obama hasn't even lost, and they're already calling the election "shady". Guys, get a job, instead of always looking for the free ride and to force blame on everyone and everything else. Aw, poor me the less appreciated blank dude, I get nothing, I dont work, bla bla ba. Get on with reality.

I am sorry that you have a negative view about African-Americans. Just to let you know, blacks do have jobs and they do have more than a third grade education.

    • Posted By: metzlerd @ 09/29/2008 7:21:04 AM

Here we go again. The election isn't even over yet, and already you're judging what the reaction will be, and the people who have the reaction.
Go back to school and get an education!

(Hint: What makes you think they don't already have jobs? Idiot!)

i am 40 years old a Gen Xer, and I can not believe that there is a person of color let alone a black man who is a candidate for president. George Bush and his ilk have made it easier than ever for a Democrat to win the office, but despite an unwinnable war, economic crises, and fear like no american has ever felt the polls are tied. I think race is the only issue that matters now, just like if Hillary was the nominee being female would be the problem. My fear is the people who are older than me deciding my future when they will probably be gone or have nothing to lose because of there age. Fear after the past 8 years is real, you know anything can happen, look at the 2000 election I was 8 years younger and had no sense of how ignorant people can be,not in the stupid sense but in the I KNOW WHAT IS BEST FOR YOU BECAUSE IT IS BEST FOR ME AND GEORGE BUSH kind of ignorance. We need the media to do the job it did not do when we went to war in Iraq, stand up for us black and white poor and wealthy. PLEASE DO THE WORK WE NEED THE TRUTH.

I am an educated white Vietnam era veteran and this article is racial and an insult to all Americans. I will keep my comment short and my hope is all Americans ignore race and be fully aware that electing a known war hawk is far worse than Bush. A McCain Palin victory would tear me apart and my will to live comes to mind.
McCain is a master of deception using sincerity and courage and fears to affect a false sense of security.
He exploits trust and respect and my advise is beware that McCain is too good to be true and his show has never been better. McCain is arrogant and look it up and it is an incurable disease in psychology and the Pope has labeled it as an unforgiveable sin. This is obvious and factual beyond dispute and this character flaw is how McCain is exposed same as all arrogant people. His life story clearly reflects arrogance and again, look it up and all the factors in psychology descriptions prove he is arrogant. Why I mention this is because these are people who care for themselves and do not care for others and they are all about show to impress others and I will leave these thoughts to ponder but consider arrogance and a war hawk mentality which again matches an arrogant trait and my personal exposure with arrogance is evil or devil incarnate. The only solution is to avoid and in divine terms, forbidden. I will let go and perhaps a few people will see wisdom and just consider that arrogance is a human disease and not worthy being part of the human race. A lot of words when McCain is arrogant and a known war hawk are plenty for people familiar with arrogance and know to avoid.

Instead of disparaging McCain, how about telling us why you support Obama. "Cuz", "he's black like me" and "he ain't Bush" are not good reasons why. McCain and Bush, 2 different men, 1 of whome cannot run for president again and consequently, is not. If ignorance is bliss, we're currently living in an awfully blissful place...

  • Posted By: alexam174 @ 09/29/2008 1:32:25 AM

What upsets me about this is the assumption on the part of black people that it's a race issue..how about, I'm a Republican and I support McCain because I read through his thoughts on issues on his site then read those of Obama on his site. The people in this article act like Obama is THEM and they, HIM. Not true. If the Democrats lose it will be because Obama wasn't able to get enough people to come vote for him or because people think 'ya know what, I just don't agree with him on ____ and that's my issue. Thusly, I'll vote for McCain.' The only way they won't kavetch about fairness, racism and any other thing they can find is if Obama wins. I do not see a landslide, I see a very close race. What I also see in this article is the 'ok, so if Obama gets in, he gonna help us ~ "us" is not middle or lower class people. Everybody has their issues, skeletons, drawbacks and such. If you have a pulse, you're not perfect. If you're an adult, you're even farther from it. What I do find interesting is, if you take the teleprompter away, he stumbles too. Nobody should be voting because of the color of someone's skin though millions will, without a doubt. You should vote for the person who most closely matches your beliefs. I do have a question though, what if Michael Steele, a black conservative Republican were running for president? Would black people still be as enthusiastic?

  • Posted By: hrob27 @ 09/29/2008 1:31:37 AM

John McCain is a nutcase and a sellout. He is a war hero, yet he supports Bush and Cheney, two cowards who failed to heed the nation's call to Vietnam. He says he is against wasteful spending; yet the lending banks, along with the rest of corporate America, have been in his back pocket for years. Nothing illustrates his poor judgment more than his picking Palin to be his running mate. She is terribly unqualfied for the office, and everyone knows this. There are other women in his party(read: Hutchinson) who are far better suited to be a vice-presidential candidate. Such decisions are obvious proof that Old Man With A Cain is clearly unfit to lead, yet his poll numbers remain close because there are still so many racist, ignorant, hate-filled people in our society. These ignorant fools are the descendants of the same haters whose xenophobic views have held back this great nation from its full and glorious potential since its birth. These haters are the ones who allowed Bush, the worst president to ever disgrace the Oval Office, to come to power in the first place. Now they are once again trying to stand in the way of history and progress. God Willing, for the sake of America, their deeds will go unrewarded. LET'S GO OBAMA!!!!

  • Posted By: mohamed47 @ 09/29/2008 12:56:15 AM

I am not black but arab and I can't see how anyone can admit in normal situation that he looses. Obama is from fare the best candidate that America saw during the last six decades even JFK is not as good we have to imagine only if he was a black man against Nixon or why not imagine McCain a black old man running against a white young smart guy like Obama. The young man will surely be elected with 99% of the votes like in a third world election.
