I am a 50 year old white woman and I feel the same way. If Obama loses, the integrity of our country could be lost forever. I was a delegate for Obama in Colorado because he has integrity. I couldn't care less what color his skin is. He could be green or purple as long as he is a man of integrity.

I believe Obama will make more of a difference than McCain. As an adult white female I prefer to make my own choices in life, and not have government tell me what I can do with my body. Religion teaches that we will all be accountable for our own actions. It doesn't refer to government as being my advocate when I am facing my maker. I believe that we should keep religion and politics seperate. It is only causing more chaos than needed.

I am a white 28-year old woman who is slightly below middle class. I have a disabled son who is not receiving all I think he should be. However, I have a fabulous house with a 5% fixed interest rate. I have a nice 2005 minivan and two wonderful kids. I don't complain about the economy because I know things will get better if people stop living above their means and stop blaming the government for all their problems. Americans are for the most part lazy, complaining and they sit around waiting for the government to rescue them. I have a son who can't walk, barely talks and is blind. My husband and I had him at 20 years old and have risen above having no college education and making minimum wage. We have worked opposite shifts, only taken out minimum loans and worked our butts off. Now we have acheived what was previously known as the american dream. I am tired of people saying that McCain doesn't mention the middle and lower classes. I'm happy with his stand on the issues. You know what else, STOP Bitching about the upper classes and taxes. My parents make 6 figures each, but you know what! My dad grew up dirt poor on a farm and put himself through college working two jobs. He has worked for the same company for the past 30 years and has earned his money. Stop trying to take his hard earned money to pay for the people who don't want to work and want to do illegal drugs and have 10 babies! I have been to government agencies to register my son for disabiilty programs. I've seen, for the most part, the kind of people who are getting are tax dollars to live without putting in the effort like the rest of us do. I'm also sick of these people who claim disability and they need the government to take care of them. I am 28 years old with a diagnosis of arthritis and degenerative disc disease. I still manage to work, take care of my house and my 2 kids and am going back to college part-time. Start earning and contributing to our society and stop sucking the rest of us dry. THis country is rapidly heading downhill because there's no responsibility or pride anymore.

Common on man, you seem highly educate. How many people would it take to hide this? This would be the story of a lifetime for any reporter. Common on, improve your logic, being the majority is not whatis key. Being educated, motivated, and driven is what counts. With those 3 qualities any man/woman of any color WILL BE SUCESSFUL.

I am a black person and I'm not voting for Obama because he is black. Nor am I or anyone in my circle racist. Your assumption is wrong and I wonder how many blacks there are in Boise, if that's where you're from or is you're merely listening to what's being said in the media about black people.

To call Obama inexerienced and incompetent is ingorant as he didn't graduate from Harvard Law by chance. If you're going to make a statement, please know your facts. You have said nothing about a possible running mate who really knows nothing on the other side but of course you are biased. Unless you are black, don't assume and think you know who we are and what we are about.
