    I am going to go and vote this time and I am going to vote for Obama. I am a white lady who is 72 years old and I sure don't want McCain in there. If he gets in there we might as well have Bush still in there. GO OBAMA.

    Obama is a man who associates himself with the most unbelievable charachters then says i did not know or it was long ago they did that. A leopord does not change his spots. His association was for positioning to give him the best money could buy for himself and his stature in life. He is not ready to be president for many reasons America needs a strong defense, Aleader who does not vote present but is able to make a decision and live by it, A person who without the help of telepromters can speak from the hearrt without prejudice, And someone who loves this country. He always says America is the greatest nation on earth but never proclaims his love of country and for whaqt it stands. A person who does not blame his forefathers for there prejudice and misunderstandings which in many parts of the world are still manifested in the culture all Americans have melted to understand the concept of equality, But no man can be forced to love his neighbor and the govermentts idea that this is possible is setting the stage for revolt by the people no matter what cultural background they are from. There is good and bad in every race but I ask how many times have the whites of any neighborhood burned and looted for the sake of change and how many times has this happened in other nationalities. Nothing is ever fair and every black person that votes not for the good of the country but for the color of the skin for the next president is not participating in the American way but in a totally Biased and prejudicial manner that can only be bad for this nation.

If Obama wins he will have to carry the white man's burden ( win two wars, save the economy and win respect for Americans world wide). If McCain wins then it is white man again.     obviously black people who never cared about politics are registering to vote for one reason only. to get a black man in office. obama isn't even 100% black. but no one wants to bring that up. just like people shouldn't vote against someone because of race, they shouldn't vote FOR someone because of race. racism can work both ways.

    I am so dissapointed people need to come out and vote for a person of color just for that reason. Vote because you should not because of color. Also why is it a slap in the face to the black community if Obama looses. Why wasnt it a slap in the face a women Hilary Clinton didnt even make it this far. Those are racial comments and no one see's it that way. I thought we were all trying to get past racsim and any type of predjuciness. I guess we cant when we can not even see a women could have been president too!

    Let's be real here. If the election is stolen, like it was in Florida in 2000 and Ohio in 2004, there will be problems. But it won't just be black people rioting. There are Americans of ALLl colors who, after those experiences, can recognize when Republicans game the system to their advantage.

      Go check your facts not Michael Moore's movies... Bush won both elections 2000 and 2004 as stated by your party leaders Kerry and Gore. In 2004 Bush won by the largest popular vote and electorial votes in the past 40+ years! I'll not argue 2004, but AL GORE won the popular vote in 2000 and if it weren't for a corrupt REPUBLICAN adminstration (brother helping brother, and an insane secretary of state of Florida) and 5 REPUBLICAN appointees to the Supreme Court, Al Gore would have won the electoral vote as well.         I think you should be checking your facts, aquaman. When Bush gets more votes in a district than there are voters in that particular district, someone is pulling something. I don't believe for one minute that Bush won either election, especially when I know die hard republicans who voted against him in 2004.

    I am so tired to hearing about race in this election. I am not voting for Obama because he is not the right man for the job - I don't care if he is blue, green, yellow or purple. It is about issues. Obama wants to raise our taxes and create all kinds of new entitlement programs. His plan in my opinion will sink this economy even further than it is now - he will push us into a full fledged depression. I am sorry but black people in thie country need to stop making every issue about black and white.     I speak with my freedom of speech just like you do but with my own opinion and I have no prejudice toward anyone. Barack Hussein Obama, IS NO Colon Powell. I would vote for Colon Powell in less than a heartbeat. Colon Powell for the presidency would be awesome, but NOT Barack Hussein Obama. It has to do with the person and his or her credibility, wisdom along with Knowledge. Barack Hussein Obama brought too much baggage to the table for any "sensible people" to vote for him and not enough wisdom along with the Knowledge to win me over.

    Obama is completely ill-equipped for the presidency, from his lack of expereince to his radical associations, to his total failure to grasp the critical issues domestic and abroad, decisions about which will fundementally impact all amereican's futures. We need a true leader such as McCain, not a pretender like Obama.

    Believe it or not, nearly everyone I talk to here in my predominantly-white community in the Seattle-Tacoma area, including some white friends from the South, are firmly behind electing Obama and frightened of what a McCain presidency would mean. Obama's race doesn't enter into it at all; we're paying attention to his message. We believe he'll re-enroll the US in the world community instead of cowboying it as Bush has done and McCain will do.

    It is disgusting to read rags like Newsweek so in the tank for one candidate that truth does not get reported. I will never watch, read, or listen to these gossip rags again. I stumped for Bill Clinton during college and if you want to talk about being cheated, Hillary was pushed out of a race she already won by the ridiculous liberal media and the Obama racist machine. No reports on his "missing years" of drug dealing and privilege, and no scrutiny into his associations with the racism of his church (whose brand of "christianity" is certainly not Christ-like) or his close relationship w/ Ayers, the domestic terrorist to whom he's awarded millions for failed ideas on helping the black community. "Community Organizer" is latin for only helping the black community, a stepping stone to political office. You don't vote for the "coolest, most literate" black guy you could find to put on the ticket! Shame on the media, shame on blacks, shame on women who have a litmus test on a President because they shelfishly want to retain their right to sleep around and kill the product of their moral lapse.       Are you serious? I am a single white mother of 2. Last year I made a total of $9800.00!!! I was told that I "make too much money" to recieve any type of public assistance other than a low payment plan for ONE of my children to get state run healthcare!! So don't you dare say that the "Black Man" gets the shaft when there is a White administration!! I would never vote for Obama because he is all for furthering this cause. Give more to those that have less.....what he really means is....Take more from honest, hard working, taxpayers to give to those who want to lay on their ass, watch Oprah,eat bon-bons, and sell thier food stamps for drugs. I have this year been able to secure a great job and am making more money. I had to take a drug test to get the job. Why don't welfare reciepients have to take one to get their check, food stamps, medical, free housing, etc;? If I have to take a drug test to earn the money that goes to them, shouldn't they have to take one to get their check? hmmmmmm sounds a little fishy to me. I could have easily cried racism in the welfare office. I was the only white woman there!! I was in an office full of blacks and hispanics. But they tell the only white person in the lobby, NO. Go figure.

    Well one big comment why would people only protest if Obama loses, why not protest when others loose. Why is it a slap in the face to have a black man loose the president nomination, but not a slap in the face when a women doesnt (Hilary Clinton) even make it that far and didnt even stand a chance? Unfair, and as far as I am concerned those are racial comments something I thought people were trying to get past
