What If Obama Loses?

i think for black to vote for obama because he is "of color" is the worse disservice you can do for your race.if he can fight his battles, why is the media doing it for him.i still think hillary ran rings around him. i say this because i am black and do not want to become the laughing stock of america if he become president and we will, mock my words

How come blacks only praise the acheivements of black democrats , yet in the same breath many have called our own Secratary Of State Condoleeza Rice an "Uncle Tom". Racism is alive and well in America, and I'm not sure that it's exclusive to the white community. Blacks are just as nasty and hateful to their own kind, even more so than many whites are. So ask yourselves this black folks... if Obama was a republilcan and held republican philosophies , would you still vote for him???

I agree that we must become active active active! With voting, volunteering, spreading the word and educating yourself so that you can help to educated others. Evil thrives when good men do nothing - and this is definitely the time to do something!! OK, THIS BOARD HAS REALLY SCARED ME TO THINK THAT ALOT OF THESE PEOPLE ACTUALLY ARE GOING TO HAVE A SAY IN THE PATH OF OUR COUNTRY!!!! I just have to react to the best/worst I've seen:

b.SOCIALISM... Yeah, because bailing out failed businessmen w/ $700mil. isn't socialism...Get a clue, man.
I swear, every businessman all of a sudden *reall likes* socialism when there business is on the line. These people just sound like Scrooge to me: "Are there no workhouses? Let them go there and learn industry"

2) JUST DO THE MATH
McCAIN/ PALIN = bottom 5 of class/2.0 Gpa respectively. But yeah, they're the best for the Job...

3)GOD IS NOT THE NATIONAL MASCOT...AND JESUS WAS A "SOCIALIST"
And the Rep. have you SO duped...It's all there in Matt. 25: "Did you feed me when I was hungry, heal me when I was sick? Clothe me when I was naked? Visit me in prison?" If not, DEPART FROM BE, BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW YOU!!! I still don't know how Rep. Hijacked Christianity like that....Rove, I guess?

It's a shame this isn't discussed more. Everyone is afraid of "offending" blacks by telling the truth. They are being racists. It's no different than someone saying they are voting for McCain because he is white and there are people out there saying that. What is amazing is that people are using skin color as a criteria to elect some to run a country of 300 million people.

I am a 28 year old Black woman and I am voting for Obama because I honestly believe that he cares about the middle-class and the issues we are dealing with. I am actually ashamed to read this article and the thoughts of Black people in America. I beieve that if Obama does not win then it would be because he did not do enough to sway the Independent and undecided voters. Not because he is Black.

Barack is a Harvard educated Muslim

In the post by fordman, he states that Obama is against the second amendment, the right to keep and bear arms. Apparently he is misinformed. I've been doing volunteer work with the Obama campaign and one of the things they stressed to us is that he is a supporter of the second amendment. Apparently this reader got this idea from some of the alarmist propoganda the Republican party is putting out. I suggest if you really want to know where Obama stands, check out his website or better yet, check with factcheck.org. They are impartial and they sort out where the truth is in statements by both candidates.

I'm in the military and I work with African Americans all the time. Some are high speed low drag and some are lazy and wouldn't know the meaning of work if it bit them on the ass.
And both work types say they will vote for Obama. Mind you NONE of them have watched the debates NONE of them read about the election and NONE of them know whats going on in the world yet they say Obama has their vote. But I guess whites are racist.

I'm not going to argue that racism isn't a factor in this election, because it is. Sexism was a clear factor in the media coverage of Hillary's candidacy. But -- let's be real. If Obama loses, it won't be because he's black. It'll be because this is a center-right country. Obama is on the left, no matter how you spin it. The only Democrat to win a Presidential election in recent history was Bill Clinton, a centrist. I hope that black Americans are clear-sighted enough to realize this.

The way Mr Obama spoke at the debate Mr Obama is going to represent everyone equally although I wish it were true that he would favor Blacks and hopefully Latinos because they are finally believing in someone and its bringing them out to get involved and vote. I am a Latino man and I will vote for Mr Obama.

You know what scares me more? Blacks are voting for Obama because of color and not specifics. I didn't read one specific reason to for vote Obama other than his color in this article. I love how reverse racism is now the accepted norm.

As an Independent Voter-I am left to vote on Moral Issues only. I don't listen to what either of the Candidates say, but what they have done and believe in. We the people decide what and how. If you only vote, that's a little something, yes your Vote does count, but if your not involved in your community, if your not involved in your school, if your not involved in your local church, if your not involved in your local Government, don't be disappointed if your canidate did not win the Presidancy, be happy that you wear able to participate in the greatest Demacracy in tghe World.

Let me say this again. They real gang members are the white collar gang members that get a way with things such as the financial crisis going on right now affecting hundreds of thousands of people and they get to vote? What about the ones that send innocent men and women to war for greed and to make money and kill thousand upon thousands of our own men and women and babies, children , parents elders in other countries and destroy them on the motivation of pure lies and they get to be president. The worst gang members the white collar ones hiding in their big offices fooling all of you don't have to go to jail or live on the street and still get to vote. Wow what a concept. The rich get richer because their lies and deception get bigger.

I really get tired of hearing racism. Whom ever reads this you need to look at how many white people turn out when Obama comes to different locations. If he loses he loses. Don't stop voting if he loses, just keep voting them out, someday it will change. Who ever said Obama is losing wished he was. Southern White Redneck Voting for CHANGE.
