    Keep looking at McCain and you will find him 'filthy rich' not only in money and endless houses, but in connections to big money that he denies. Let's get this one right for once: the guy is a hot head, a phony, a "once was hero" turned idiot because he's "just so excited about Sarah Palin" - I'll bet! What is it he loves, her knowledge, her curiosity, her cute little hockey mom routine? Get Real, John. Your choice cost you my vote.

    Stop projecting. McCain used to receive the praises from the media, if they continued to praise him you would compliment the media on their unbiased journalism. Since you have something against Obama you want to sink Obama to Hitler. Save the retort it probably wasn't funny anyway. You mention everyone is writing on a elementary school level but you are the only one raving like a kid from kindergarten.. Desparate times for YOUR party, I expect more of your vile as McCain cracks under the stress. He was the one who had he would rather lose the election...he may get his wish. so you probably think I'm writing on a preschool level...save it.

    McCain has YOU fooled. He is a veteran,He proudly served our country; a hero is a stretch, He followed a code of conduct REQUIRED of all POW's . So that show I saw at the convention stating to he could have left early but didn't,, that's nonsense. If he did come home first and broke the code of conduct he would never be able to look his father in the eye again and he KNEW it. . To tarnish the McCain's legacy IS a fate worse than death.

    According to the POW code of conduct article 5 'Be familiar with the captor's reasons for and methods of attempting to involve POWs in both internal and external propaganda activities. Understand that a POW must use every means available to avoid participating in such activities and must not make oral or written statements disloyal to the United States or its allies, or detrimental to fellow POWs'..

    He HAD to do it, and he did the best he could while they were trying to break him. Even if broken he had to resist the next time. That wasn't above and beyond what was EXPECTED of him that was the mimimum and he did,the best he could.

    We are still not sure what happened over there I know it was obviously harsh but I also know he DIDN'T tell us exerything because the records of that event are SEALED to this day. Things are beginning to seal up in Alaska also with Palin. So we have republicans trying to make democrats the fall guy in this mess, They want straight talk but are staying away from the media and SEALING records.That's your straight talk. So don't come HERE and call democrats idiots when you fell for McCain's manipulation hook, line, and sinker.

    Don't try and justify saying McCain took less from Freddie Mac so somehow that makes him a better candidate. They all took it, period, so its a mute point. .. I feel it makes him worse because he coauthored the 2005 s190 bill AND he took the money. They found creative ways to compensate McCain so they didn't have to directly pay him (ie Davis).

Last time I heard, Mr. Raines settled for 22million for cooking the books Enron style. Jim Johnson resigned from the VP vetting, but Mrs Gerolick (On Fannie Mae's board) is still up for Attorney General. When will the corruption end?

    Just so everyone knows, the money Obama received from Fannie and Freddie were from the employees in small increments, not big payoffs from the heads of the companies. Are you going to say that because Obama's campaign is made up of millions of small contributors from all walks of life and all companies, that it is wrong? He has received lots of contributions from lots of different employees of lots of different companies, to me that shows his popularity among us working class.

    Why am I not surprised that Newsweek is focusing on McCain and not on Obama naming two former Freddie and Fannie CEO's as his economic advisers? Does anyone else think it shows incredibly poor judgment to pick these two thieves as economic advisors? Why did Obama pick them? So they can do to the rest of us what they collectively did to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac? The reality is that the Democratic Party is now the party of Wall Street. Where did Schumer troll for campaign contributions- Wall Street! Check out who were the big donors to the Democratic Senate Campaign organization run by Schumer. You will see Lehman, Morgan Stanley, hedge funds, etc. Pelosi and that crowd are rushing to get this done in the hopes of covering up their tracks of conflicts of interest with these NY wheeler dealers. Now, they want us to pay for it. Sorry, ain't happenning. Given the bankrolls of some of their contributors, maybe they can start there.

      You are spreading outright lies. Those two CEOs are not economic advisors. Johnson was involved in the VP selection and Raines has stated he is not an advisor to Obama, and that he has had no direct contact with him.

    When a man gets paid for nothing more than being friends with John McCain, the head of the commerce Committee...what are we supposed to call that ? I'm from Louisiana where we used to see this kind of stuff all the time. Does BRIBE sound about right ? I can't think of anything else.

    If Mcain is elected you will see a greater Depression than the Great depression; He will replace Herbert Hoover as the architect of the failure of the American Economic System. How can you be so niave as to believe he will stop wasteful government spending. What is his plan to rescue the economy? I am truly amazed that you vote against your self interest.         What if you mention anything relevent about this election. Here's some stuff to ponder Lynn. Why did Obama change his race and name after he met Michelle. The man was 50% white, 40% Arabic, and 10% african +/-. But, he went from barry ti barack - an arabic name - and declared himslef to be african American when he birth certifiacte says otherwise. Then he goes to Chicago to helo the poor find homes, helps zero people, and gets caught up with Ayers and friends. he then starts going to a black church after being schooled as a muslim to gain experience. he then denounces ths Muslin heritage. When later, the black church holds him back , he demounces the church . In the menatime, he befriends Tony Resko, allows resko to collaterolize his home and takes money. He later gives it back when the public finds out. he denounces Resko. He mistated 79 times in his book as he attempt to create a false persona. He voted less and said present more than any Illinois politican. he has created no legislation, was never a havard professor, and really never said anything remotely that Biden alleged last night.

      Accusation of racism is a very important tool of the left and it is working. It's what keeps many from looking into Obama's background for fear of being called racist. What if a Republican had ties to a known domestic terrorist? What if he had been a lawyer representing a radical organization like ACORN and had known ties to that organization.? What if one of the main goals of that organization was to round up people and register them to vote, but only for the party they encourage them to vote for? What if that candidate had no one from his past - college, grad school, military service, jobs - who could come forward and attest to his character? What if his main claim to fame was having written two autobiographies before the age of 47? What if there was evidence that he had taken more than $200 mn in illegal campaign contributions from overseas? What if a major international terrorist organization endorsed his candicacy? What if the media refused to investigate this candidate because he's the guy they want? Who is John Galt?

I am a retired manager from a major corporation who for twenty years supervised over 100 employees and was responsible for payroll of 10 Billion dollars a year 130,000 employees and retirees My department budget was over 10 million a year.
