Is this supposed to be an unbiased news article or is it an advertisement for Obama. I am so sick and dissaponted again by the media. I'm done. I'm not reading or watching anything untill after the election. What a disservice to the American people. This is just a small example of what life will be like if there is an Obama White House!! It scares me to death and it should you too!! I'm just waiting for the huge statue of Obama to be errected so that we can all be forced to worship it. That is the direction that our country is headed.

Fox news is always available to post, along with Larry Sinclair, and Limbaugh. Nobody forces you to blog here or anywhere else. And that goes for Share the news too. It amazes how much people complaign and they still come back. Maybe they like to torture themselves with postings. Maybe they think they will change the election outcome. Maybe think think too much.

I think we can all agree that, given the fact that there are only so many discrete sources of information available to civilians regarding the goings on of Washington and our candidates' lives and histories, we will invariably fall into polarized camps. It's one of the things that sucks about our political system: too few viable options.

For years, McCain successfully played to the press across the board. A simple internet search will yield many results dated between 2000 and 2006 supporting this. His moaning about Obama stealing his thunder had begun until, well, Obama started stealing his thunder.

If McCain had his way, we'd all be bowing to a statue of Johnny in a flight suit.

ALL politicians are egotists -- if they weren't, then they would be very good at their jobs, would they?

I posted this to HolyRoller several days ago and received no response, so here it goes again:

    Also, HolyRoller:

Just checked out the obamacrimes.com website as you suggest. Three concerns:

    1) Who is this Berg guy, and what is his motivation?

    2) If you're so confident in this concept, then why is he begging for money at the top of the home page?

    3) Even if there is a small legitimacy in his case, as there is in the case against McCain's legitimacy, then what makes you think that the DNC won't bludgeon the case with money until Berg loses his ability to continue, as I am sure the RNC would if the Dems were interested in pursuing their case against McCain?

    (Part IX)

I know that change in this world and in the universe is inevitable, and it is up to us to decide what kind of direction, what course the future of humanity will take. It doesn???t matter if the world seems too much to handle, or if upon looking at the multitudes one seems so insignificant, Jesus Christ said that if one has enough faith he, she, or he-she can tell a mountain to move from here to there and it will happen.

Give me a little lever, put it under the world, and my light body on the other side, and I will show you how just one human being can change the world.

You are clogging up the board with your non-stop rambling nonsense. Please go away and don't come back.

PS, I will never vote for a foreign born homo, and neither will millions of other Americans. In fact, the constitution forbids it (the foreign born part, although it doesn't but should also ban the homo part).

Please stop with your rambling nonsense and please go out and get a job.

...and wouldn't it be nice if vets with PTSD could actually be diagnosed properly!

As it stands, the VA is under orders to cover PTSD diagnoses with half-truths and sometimes outright lies to prevent vets from getting the ongoing psychiatric care they NEED. Thanks Bush and McCain for making our vets suffer you you don't have to pay the VA system what they need.

A detailed analysis of the psychiatric treatment of vets, in part authored by a retired Naval commander.

I found this within 5 seconds of Googling. There's a lot more evidence out there corroborating the decision to seriously skew diagnoses to avoid paying for treatment.

Second, calling a candidate a name is different than aiming that at someone with whom you are having a conversation.

Third, I never said McCain was a foreigner in that post. I said it in others.

Clearly, McCain is not gay. He's a cracked-out horn dog who would probably jump his veep pick if the opportunity arose.

I campaign for gay rights and have gay family members and friends. Happily, I live in CA and don't have to live in a city that is openly homophobic. Yup, McCain is conceding Michigan. He's out. So much for all those pics with him and the auto workers. It turns out even McCain admits the workers don't want him. The workers know that McCain offers no solutions on the economy.

    http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081002/ap_on_el_pr/mccain

And looking at the larger electoral map you can see why McCain is pulling out of Michigan - he needs his resources to reground in other battleground states where he is also falling dangerously behind.

For people who care about reality, as opposed to dangerous Republican pipe dreams, here are the stats:

    http://www.fivethirtyeight.com/2008/10/todays-polls-103.html

Americans want change. Not stunts like picking Palin to try to trick Hillary voters into voting against their interests.

    • Posted By: benkrapf @ 10/04/2008 10:21:23 AM

Workers/ACLU are socialists, of course. Because of that, all of their problems are their own fault in McCain's eyes. He has no real sympathy or connection to them at all.

      • Posted By: Pallisor @ 10/04/2008 11:31:43 AM

Yeah, and your boy Obama let's his own brother live on 12 bucks a year in squalor. Real sympathetic toward his own brother. But of course, when he gets in power, he'll connect and be real sympathetic to people he doesn't even know! Could you be any more gullible?

        • Posted By: benkrapf @ 10/04/2008 4:16:37 PM

I am not qualified to speak about Obama's relationship with his brother. I can think of several personal reasons off-hand that you wouldn't want to support a relative financially. Who are we to judge his relationship with his family.

If Palin's family and McCain's family is off-limits, so is Obama's.

          • Posted By: Pallisor @ 10/04/2008 6:16:13 PM

How convenient! Nice way to sweep it under the rug, I must say! Just like twenty years with the Reverend Wright! Okay, whatever.

BTW BK, you must be new here. Since when did the libs ever leave Palin's family alone? They crucified them with everything from her husband cheating on her to her daughter having her baby! The left finally gave it up only when they couldn't prove any of it.

            • Posted By: benkrapf @ 10/04/2008 6:39:04 PM

I'm not saying they haven't been covered extensively, I argue that they shouldn't have been, and that goes for every candidate.

Without any hesitation, Obama said "leave her alone" and in no uncertain terms. NO BLAME THERE.
However, character defamation and guilt by association
is stock in trade with the other guys.
                Question is -why.

                • Posted By: Pallisor @ 10/04/2008 9:37:21 PM

Future... you're right, both Obama and Biden said leave her alone! But the left wouldn't let it happen! His followers didn't pay attention and pounded the hell out of her anyway.

About Obama's brother, just settle the discrepancy of why he allows his brother to live on 12 dollars a year, and then why he is going to take care of down and out America. Then, the issue is resolved!

John McCain is a traitor to his own principles. I used to respect and admire him for his views, but, he has abandoned his core principles to pander to the neocons in the Republican party. He has truly run a dishonest and unethical campaign. He will say or do anything to get elected. He voted for the Bailout then later in the same day urged President Bush to veto the Bill as it contained too much Pork. He thinks the American people are complete idiiots. Has he not read the history of Iraq and Iran. the British first tried endless occupation of the region and they saw the light. The Russians tried to occupy Afghanistan and it destroyed their economy and led to the breakup of the Soviet Union. We cannot continue to borrow money to finance this war when the economy is in such terrible shape. America's credibility has suffered tremendously as a result of this war. We can never balance the budget or get the deficit under control as long as the neocons control the Republican party. Republicans used to be the party of Fiscal conservatives, what happened? They allowed neocons to turn a budget surplus into a record deficit. John McCain has no clue as to what makes the economy tick. How can you in good conscience vote to elect a man who has no fiscal policy except tax cuts for the wealth and endless occupation of Iraq. He is still stuck in Vietnam, he wants Victory with Honor. He pretends to be concerned about Veterans affairs but yet he consistently votes against a New GI bill for Veterans Benefits. Why would any thinking American support a veteran who votes against the interest of those who fight to protect the freedom we so ungratefully enjoy is beyond my scope of comprehension

    • Posted By: neos @ 10/03/2008 2:03:30 PM

Not only the new GI Bill, which this multimillionaire who receives 58,000 dollars in benefits each month, called, 'too expensive.'. Johnnie has voted against numerous other pieces of veteran legislation. That is why the non-partisan organization, DIsabled Veterans of America, has given him a miserable 20% rating (Obama has a 80% rating) and why Johnnie was reduced to pleading at the end of the last debate for veterans to support him.. Too late, Johnnie boy, too late. Actions speak louder than words.

I feel sorry for Obama. As a paid blogger for him, I would think you would be doing a much better job.

He supported another version of the Bill that didn't pass . DO try and keep up.
The version he supported significantly reduced benefits. What was good for him was too good for others. Typical Republican view.

When you don't know all the facts, you assume he dislikes military personnel. With the G.I. Bill, there were factors he didn't agree with. The main issue he had is the bill would pay service members the same amount no matter how long you serve. McCain wanted bonuses for those who served longer terms than others. You have to know the details of the bill. He didn't vote no, he abstained from voting, which Obama has done many times.

            http://marcambinder.theatlantic.com/archives/2008/05/mccain_to_obama_dont_demagogue.php

You can't look at a voting record for McCain or Obama, and put your label on it you wish without know the details.

Now that didn't hurt, did it?

            • Posted By: neos @ 10/03/2008 4:22:18 PM

              i. Of course he abstained, he knew it would have been politcal suicide to vote no. So, Mr. Integrity Jumped on the Double-talk express and went off to a fundraiser in California.

              2. The new GI bill gives today's servicemen the same benefits that Vietnam vets like McCain enjoyed. 'Too genorous' Said McCain. It might hurt retention he added. So in McCain's plan we try to coerce our troops into staying in longer to get the same benefits McCain had. Of course he knows that he will need the troops in longer to chase that ever elusive pipe dream ofVictory in Iraq'. What a hypocrite.

The bottom line that you dittoheads are desperately trying to avoid is that McCain is a fraud when it comes to his claim of supporting vets. And veterans aren't fooled by his hypocrisy, even if chuckle-headed morons like you are.

Update on Berg vs Obama...Eligibility for POTUS.....getting slippery kids.

Berg Filed an Answer Sept. 29th, 2008

(Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania - 09/29/08) -Philip J. Berg, Esquire, the Attorney who filed suit against Barack H. Obama challenging Senator Obama???s lack of "qualifications" to serve as President of the United States, announced today that he filed his Opposition and Brief to Obama and Democratic National Committee Joint Motion to Dismiss in the case of Berg v. Obama, No. 08-cv-04083.

Berg feels confident that he has "Standing" and the Court will allow the case to go forward. Our response was due in 14 days, but the Court requested our answer by Monday, September 29, 2008 and we complied.
In our response we set forth sufficient reasons that I have "Standing" to bring this lawsuit. Furthermore, I set forth additional reasons that indicate Obama does not meet the qualifications for President of the United States and Obama should be removed from the ballot and held accountable.

Our website obamacrimes.com has received 17.1 + million hits. We are urging all to spread the word of our website - and forward to your local newspapers and radio and TV stations.
Berg again stressed his position regarding the urgency of this case as, "we" the people, are heading to a "Constitutional Crisis" if this case is not resolved forthwith.

For copies of all court pleadings, go to obamacrimes.com.

HolyRoller, when will you realize that no one cares about either candidate's eligibility issue? Except for you, of course.

I liked it better when you droned on about how Obama should be referred to as Hussein and that he is a muslim.

BenCrap - there is no issue around John McCain's eligibility to run. He was born at a US military installation (wow, how that must annoy you liberals who loathe the military), making him a US citizen at birth. Nice try with the 'equivalence' argument.

  • Posted By: neos @ 10/03/2008 2:36:44 PM

The bar was set low enough that Sarah Palin tripped over it last night. Any objective observer, not privy to the bar-lowering circumstances of the last two weeks , would have wondered what this light -weight was doing on the stage with a real statesman. Sticking as best she could to almost memorized generic scripts (if they mention Iran, say this....) , snippets of stump speeches, and sarcastic attack lines, Paliln was helpless whenever an unexpected topic showed up. She just ignored those questions and reverted to the stump speech or rambling beauty pageant style word fill. Except for when she talked about energy (even when it had nothing to do with the question) or education, she showed no real depth or breadth of understanding of the topic. Lucky for her the McCain Camp would only agree to a format which did not allow her answers to be challenged. This wasn't a debate so much as a pop quiz.
Biden, by contrast, showed a thorough and a deep understanding of all topics and the ability to clearly articulate that understanding. Unfortunately his intelligence will be held against him by the Joe six-pack constituency who are hell-bent on putting another dummy in the White House.

This from one who limits his intellectual curiousity to Rush and Sean' spoutings.
It is painfully obvious to the most casual observer that heavy and prolonged cogitation is a grueling chore for you. This is a result of and a downside to listening exclusively to Rush and Sean. The brain gradually atrophies and loses the ability to form or express independent opinions. The hapless but aptly named 'dittohead' is reduced to a hollow shell, endlessly parroting and repeating Faux News talking points.

Noone knows how either man will govern. I don't have much knowledge of McCain's "style", but as I live in Illinois, I am familair with Obama's track record. If he is the same President that he has been Senator, then he will be distant and uninvolved. I voted for him for Senator (yes, his campaign was also Hope & Change) but he has been a major disappointment. I sincerely hope that I am wrong, but I don't think he will be a good or effective President. Hope and Change is good, but you need a solid concrete plan of action, and the detail oriented mind set to accomplish it. Obama is great at pep rallies, but weak at follow through, as is evidenced by his Illinois house experience. His tenure as Senator from Illinois has been a long list of "No Vote"
Before the Obama thugs start foaming at the mouth, I'm not voting for McCain. However, I would like to see an additional entry on the Ballot "None of the Above"

Schwarzenegger: Let foreign-born seek White House

    October 3, 2008

I need to register for a class, ???PAD 4414 (Personal Skills for Administration) being offered by Florida International University at the Stephen Clark Building/Government Center in Downtown Miami. But it is a mini/dynamic session class and I was not able to register for the class on my own on the computer, so I went to the Biscayne Bay Campus of FIU where I am currently taking a criminal justice class in Law Enforcement, and I was directed at Enrollment Services to speak with a lady in charge who manually registered me for the class. Among the things that we talked about in our brief interaction was the voting issue for the 2008 U.S. Presidential Elections, and although I told her the reasons why I don???t vote, she told me that I should vote not for the person running for Presidency, but for the issues that they represent, and I told her that I would strongly consider her advise and that if I voted for the first time it would be in her honor for having put things in that perspective. But I am a very cautious person in the long-term implications of things, and thus I gave myself the proper amount of time to learn other perspectives, especially because I have never been too involved in political issues, as opposed to my father who although fervently opposing politics and being actively involved in a religion that backs his position, spends a great part of the day listening and excited about political issues for as long as I can remember. So the time that it took for me to broaden my knowledge and perspective in the critical issues that would prevent me or drive me to vote was rather expeditious. Yesterday I spoke with that lady and today after learning that both political candidates and their parties oppose the legality of Gay Marriages, that did it for me.

    (Part II)

How can we have the first Black candidate to potentially become the President of the United States, and the first woman with high chances of becoming the vice-president of the same government, to embrace the fact that the great freedom and justice that we enjoy today in the United States as the result of the struggle of black and women movements for civil rights have provided this most fair and great opportunity, and meanwhile, to publicly declare a blunt ???No??? to the civil rights of other oppressed minorities of the United States of America, those people who whether by genetic factors or by choice have come to embrace the fact that they love and wish to marry a person of their same gender? I ask you something: ???Do all heterosexual marriages go into their legal union with the imminent or long-term intention of having children, of procreating? The answer is a blunt, but in this case fair, ???NO.??? Many heterosexual couples who seek marriage do not wish to have children at all. While other heterosexual marriages cannot even genetically procreate. So why the difference in denying legal rights to homosexual couples because they can???t essentially at present procreate? Is that justice and fairness? What is there natural about heterosexual couples going to a reproduction clinic to alter the genetic makeup they were born with in order to being able to have children in ways that are artificial in essence? What is there natural about taking medications made from unnatural chemicals and processes? And yet, those medications have improved the overall health and have extended the life expectancy of human beings, while at the same time quite often preventing the death of those experiencing life-threatening situations. So why does the world, but especially politicians in their ability to bring about true justice and equality of opportunity, publicly embrace some legal rights and deny others? Why do they refuse to balance justice when they live and are sometimes the products of unnatural lives or lifestyles while at the same time denying Gay people who love each other the publicly legal declaration and rights of their union because the majority of the people, who unfortunately are usually led by face-value make-believe rhetoric and appearances, hold the greater voting power? Are they in this process of legal elections then primarily for the attainment of office, regardless of the known violations of people???s rights. The sad reality is that these are well educated, intelligent individuals, who similar to many religious people who favor hypocrisy to maintain their social standing, violate that which they know is right, in order to attain or maintain their selfish materialistic desires, and unfortunately the precursors of the downfall of a fair and humane society.

    (Part III)
But here is the problem, perhaps the attempts have been made, but I found none when I searched the Internet. I cannot find articles about gay people running for office in this presidential campaign. So why the furious claim from gay/lesbian organizations that their political leaders are committing injustice, when what would give us the greatest advantage would be to postulate and support ourselves a Gay Person for the U.S. Presidency. I am very naïve and fairly ignorant in what it takes to get to this level of a presidential campaign, but I am certain that we can fight much harder and wiser in attaining our goals for a better, most just and civilized society. It has been done in the past with ???David McReynolds, who ran as the nominee of the Socialist Party in 1980 and 2000- gaining approximately 5,000 votes in each election (1).??? However, to reach its destination a vehicle must keep running, and it is not for lack of good potential gay candidates that we must delay or weaken the momentum.
