I realize that there are people who may find this show as a joke, or that being a DCC is all about looking hot in a skimpy uniform and you're entitled to your own opinion. I watch the show and it's funny how I never have seen someone "purge" nor have I heard K.F. promoting such a thing on the show. To the dad in Seattle or anyone else who thinks the bar is set really low, and that the girls are attention whores just shows your ignorance. The skills that you have to have to make the squad are very technical as well as the amount of hard work and dedication that these girls have endured to make their dream of becoming a DCC come true. It is not fair for someone to cast judgement on a group of girls who are living their dream because they have a nice figure and they wear the famous DCC uniform. It would be an embarrassment to the Dallas Cowboys to put big girls in the signature cheerleading uniform and let them dance on the field during halftime. I used to be on a squad that let some girls on the squad that did not look good in the uniform and it ticked everyone else off, because regardless if the girl was a good dancer all the attention goes straight for the big girl and our squad became a joke because this was allowed. It does not matter what team you are a member of or which sport you play, if you suck the coach isn't putting you out there to play, so why shouldn't cheerleading/dance teams be the same way? I have been in Finglas's position before and no one wants to hurt anyone's feelings or be the person that keeps someone from living their dreams, but it still has to be done and you have to look at it as what is the best move for the entire team as a whole. Most of these girls have been dancing and cheering for years because it was their passion and they dedicated themselves to being a member of their team and for anyone who has ever been on a team of any kind you know that you are only as good as your weakest member, so therefore I completely understand why K.F. sets the bar high and continues to have the highest expectations from her girls. They after all are the DCC and if anyone could make it, what would be so special about being one?
