Vote John McCain!!!! Vote John McCain!!!!

I want the President to be someone who can think for himself and not rely exclusively like a blind person on a particular advisor. I want someone who understands numbers and can make analytical decisions himself. Years of computing payloads, fuel requirements, weather and distances as a pilot are the experiences that

John McCain brings to the table when listening to economic proposals. His eyes will not glaze over when there are ten page budget spreadsheet proposals presented to him. Barack Obama and Joe Biden have no mathematical or quantitative education or experience between them. They do not teach accounting in law school.

That is why they offer basic basic accounting to attorneys as continuing education classes after they are licensed. I also am willing to bet that neither Barack Obama or Joe Biden never took a basic accounting continuing legal education class to improve their lack of skills.

Both Obama and Biden were political science majors as undergraduate which means they have no quantitative training or mathematical background. The average nurse who gives vaccinations or antibiotics shots have better computational and mathematical training than either Joe Biden or Barack Obama. A nurse knows not to give you a tenfold quantity of any particular drug and has a good foundation in mathematics. Similarly all pilots are trained in vectors and physics.

John McCain is the one who can come up with solutions to our economic problems.

Barack Obama and Joe Biden are mathematically challenged. Send them back to school.

    Vote John McCain!!!!

    Vote for John McCain!!!!!!!!
John McCain is the one who can come up with solutions to our economic problems. Barack Obama and Joe Biden are mathematically challenged. Send them back to school and this time have them study something that is useful.

Joe Biden with his history and political science double major in college and Barack Obama???s major in political science give them absoloutely no economic, scientific, quantitative or analytical background to handle the pressing economic and military problems facing our country.

These two mathematically challenged Democrats are supposed to be able to crunch numbers and understand how to cope with our economic and budget crisis. Two people who probably can???t add four numbers together are suppose help solve our economic crisis.

Do you know that they offer basic accounting continuing education classes to lawyers because most lawyers do not understand simple accounting. We have had enough mathematically challenged lawyers screw up our country. You at least know that John McCain has the computational and analytic skills to compute fuel loads, cargo weights, wind speeds, and trip distances to keep from running out of gas on missions.

How would you like it, if Joe Biden or Barack Obama would take the controls and fly your Boeing 777 on your next commercial flight here in the US. Most independent and undecided voters would not rest easy knowing that Biden or Obama can rely on what they learned in their civil procedure class to help you land safely and not run out of jet fuel during the trip. Pilots have proven analytical skills.

There is a saying that there are old and bold pilots but no old bold pilots. John McCain has that good judgment and he has the proven analytical skills to be able to tackle our budget problems. Barack Obama and Joe Biden can spend the next four years and take some accounting and economics continuing legal education classes.
After four years of academic coursework, then they might be able to throw their hat in the ring.

Given their academic training, a trillion dollars may look the same as a million dollars on a budget spreadsheet.

Vote for John McCain!! He is the one who can come up with solutions to our economic problems.

Vote John McCain!!!! Vote John McCain!!!!

It is clear during the debates that both Barack Obama and Joe Biden want to fight the war on terror only in a politically correct manner. Barack Obama worries how the world may view us. John McCain understands that winning the war on terror is not a sure bet and minimizing the loss of American military lives and casualties is more important than fighting in a politically correct manner.

John McCain???s military service gives him better insights on this issue than either Barack Obama or Joe Biden. Joe Biden brings his personal perspective about being knocked down and getting back up to the country. However, the country can not take being knocked down and expected to get back up as easily as Joe has done in the past.

Joe Biden has stated in his campaign repeatedly it does not matter how many times you are knocked down what counts is the number of times that you get back up. I am sure his experiences as a teenanger with asthma contributed to his belief that you have to get back up when knocked down.

While ninety percent of asthma cases are diagnosed before most children turn six years old, Joe Biden beat the odds and fell into that unfortunately ten percent group of children who come down with asthma after age six.

Joe Biden also had to get back up and move on with his life in 1968, when the Selective Service System found that he was ineligible to serve during the peak of the Vietnam War due to his having asthma as a teenager.

Joe Biden previously had received five college student draft deferments over a six year period from 1963 to 1968 when finally his asthma condition became known to the Selective Service System and he was deemed ineligible to fight for his country in 1968. During that period Joe Biden completed his undergraduate degree and three years of law school at Syracuse University.

Without his diagnosis of asthma and five previous student deferments, Joe Biden could have gone in and served his country honorably as a officer and a gentleman and perhaps as a Judge Advocate Law Officer similar to his son.

It was unfortunate that his asthma condition that is only diagnosed in ten percent of children after age six caused Joe Biden to not be able to serve his country during a time of war. Although Joe Biden has moved on from his teenage asthma, John McCain still presents the United States with a clear superior choice of a commander in chief to lead our country.

Vote John McCain!!!!!!!!! Vote John McCain !!!!!!!!!!!!

Comment: Biden easily won the VP debate, period. Palin just proved she is the retarded small town bimbo tramp. It was great watching Biden give verbal beating and stoning to that worthless goddamn whore. The honeymoon is over Sarah, it's time to throw yourself out the door like all other used prostitutes.

I still can't believe how stupid McCain was in picking a female running mate. I know he's senile and retarded old man, but come on! Hasn't he learned anything from the 1984 election? Women will vote against a female candidate because they know their own kind cannot be trusted. Even Osama Bin Laden would make a far better and trustworthy President than a goddamn women. True feminists have no where else to go but to support Barack Obama, as there's no way they would support a dumb republican whore who refused to abort her sick baby because of her stupid conservative belief."

THIS MAN BELIEVES THAT OSAMA BIN LADEN WOULD MAKE A FAR BETTER AND TRUSTWORTHY PRESIDENT THAN A GODDAM WOMAN.

Great job Alter! And all hail to NEWSWEEK.

This is a quote from foxnews.com:

"The analysis also concluded that in the latest period, nearly 100 percent of the McCain's ads were negative, compared to 34 percent of Obama's ads."

McCain has nothing good to say about himself. How pathetic.

"Not all Democrats agree with Mr. Frank that such policies are off-limits to criticism. Last week Rep. Artur Davis of Alabama said in a statement: 'Like a lot of my Democratic colleagues I was too slow to appreciate the recklessness of Fannie and Freddie. I defended their efforts to encourage affordable homeownership, when in retrospect, I should have heeded the concerns raised by their regulator in 2004. Frankly, I wish my Democratic colleagues would admit when it comes to Fannie and Freddie, we were wrong.'

"Mr. Davis is a member of the Congressional Black Caucus."

    'Rank snobbery'

Camille Paglia, who supports Sen. Barack Obama, has nothing but scorn for the way the media has treated Sarah Palin.

"The mountain of rubbish poured out about Palin over the past month would rival Everest. What a disgrace for our jabbering army of liberal journalists and commentators, too many of whom behaved like snippy jackasses," Miss Paglia writes at www.salon.com.

"The bourgeois conventionalism and rank snobbery of these alleged humanitarians stank up the place. As for Palin's brutally edited interviews with Charlie Gibson and that viper, Katie Couric, don't we all know that the best bits ended up on the cutting-room floor? Something has gone seriously wrong with Democratic ideology, which seems to have become a candied set of holier-than-thou bromides attached like tutti-frutti to a quivering green Jell-O mold of adolescent sentimentality."

This is the ObamaYesWeCan's website description:

"Obama Our Savior - The one we have all been waiting for since Jesus Christ. Dedicated to elect the second coming of Jesus Christ as our next President."

    "Divine Inspiration"

Like many of his followers, Barack Obama have instilled divine inspiration upon me to do everything to get him elected as our President. I don't know how to truly explain my feelings, but I will try anyway. The feeling is like some sort of epiphany elicited by God himself. Obama, you can say, made me see the light. Everything he says just fills me with awe. I am convinced that he is, in fact, the second coming of our Messiah; the return of Jesus Christ to guide us all into heaven. But unfortunately, many evil forces are making his duty harder, and it is upon us to help him fulfill his divine duty by spreading his message of Change and Hope and smiting his enemies."

    =======================================================

And carrying out his "...divine duty by spreading his message of Change and Hope and smiting his enemies." includes writing: "OSAMA BIN LADEN WOULD MAKE A FAR BETTER AND TRUSTWORTHY PRESIDENT THAN A GODDAM WOMAN."

The debate last night was hilarious with Barack Obama criticizing John McCain???s plan for allowing insurers in different states to provide health care plans in other states. None of the national news commentators seem to pick up on the comment.

Senator John McCain said that his medical plan allowing plans from other states would lead to choice, competition, and lower costs for consumers and companies. Barack Obama said that would lead to inadequate protections and it would be similar to the incorporation laws of Delaware where most United States corporations are incorporated. Corporations from many states incorporate in Delaware. Barack Obama was insulting the laws and voters of Delaware and his running Joe Biden who has been a Senator from Delaware for the past thirty years. Apparently Barack Obama feels that the incorporation statutes of Delaware are inadequate and offer little protection to investors or creditors of those corporations around the country. If that was the case, why hasn???t Senator Joe Biden from Delaware or Barack Obama jumped in there and get the Delaware state legislature to change the corporation laws of Delaware. Senator Joe Biden???s failure to do so for the past thirty years must reflect on him according to Barack Obama???s analysis.

It is amazing that Barack Obama would use an example criticizing the laws of a state of his running mate Joe Biden. Just imagine what Barack Obama would have said about Delaware incorporation laws if Joe Biden was not on the ticket. Independent and undecided voters of Delaware and around the country, vote John McCain!!!!!!!

Barack Obama and the politics of envy. Over and over Barack during the Town Hall Meeting debate spouted his politics of envy. He pointed out that Iraq has a 78 billion dollar surplus at the same time that the United States is suffering financial problems. His conclusion or inference that Barack left hanging was that we should steal their money and take the 78 billion dollars or perhaps we should have never wage the war to begin because they are a bunch of ungrateful people who would hoard this money.
Would Barack Obama be more pleased if Iraq emulated their main supporter the United States and ran up huge deficits and became nearly bankrupt. Would he think that is more representative of a struggling democracy. The fact that Iraq is financially solvent with our help is a testament of the hard work and sacrifice of our troops. Please do not comment and try to draw a negative inference from this success. Please Barack keep your politics of envy confined to local Illinois politics where it works.
Barack Obama???s tax plans similarly focus on the politics of envy. He is so focused and determined that the oil companies do not make one penny too much in profit that Barack Obama dces not care if all of the Southeast periodically experiences gas shortages with closed gas stations and empty gas pumps. The oil companies did not make any profits when there was no gas to sell so Barack Obama must have been jumping with joy. Refinery capacity in the United States has been stretched to its limits for decades. The oil companies would have to be crazy to invest another penny in new refineries or production capacity or even do basic repairs in the United States in light of Barck Obama???s policies to tax what he deems are excess profits and his proposed mandates on alternative energy. Barack Obama???s proposals to raise taxes only on the top five percent of Americans are ridiculous and only pander to the politics of envy. Our economy has been propped up for years by people from around the world investing in the United States. Foreign investors in United States companies also are subject to United States taxes. All of these investors are in the top five percent making more than two hundred and fifty thousand a year and they will be subject to higher taxes. Do you think that foreign investors will continue to make direct investments in the United States when they can go anywhere in the world? Barack Obama will do for the United States what North Korean President Kim has done for North Korea and that is drive all foreign investors out of the country. That is a great idea to help our economy and drive all foreign investors out. Americans can also chose where they invest and they do not have to invest in the United States if taxes become exorbitant.

n a few weeks we will make a choice that will decide our future.
I follow an economist named Bob Proctor. He has called the top and bottom of every market crash since the 70s correctly.
Also, he perfectly predicted the current real estate market meltdown and the picture he paints about what will happen in the next couple years
is terrifying. He thinks it will be worse then the great depression.
The banks in the U.S. are going under one after the other. Countrywide the largest morgage bank in the world,Bear Stearns, Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch which are 3 out of the top 5 wall street firms. Also, Fanny and Freddy Mae which hold 50 percent of the home loans in the United States.
The government took them over because they are essentially bankrupt. If they didn't the entire financially system would virtually shut down, the stock market would crash and we would suffer beyond what any of us have seen before.

McCain just like Bush " doesn't understand the economy".
That not just my opinion its his own words. Not only does he not understand how to fix it but he does not understand exactly what is broken.
It is no surprise that he doesn't. The people that make up these securities use complex mathematical models very few people understand.
Bush and McCain both can take the credit for this mess since they helped deregulate the laws that were protecting us.

Bush's economic advisor Phil Graham wrote the deregulation bill that allowed banks to take huge risks with all of our future.
Now, Phil Graham is the head of McCain's economic policy. He is also McCain's choice for the next secretary of the treasury.
No one in this country can afford for that to happen. The last time Bush met with his economic advisors was in March. He either didn't care or didn't realize that anything was wrong. Phil Graham had the guts to say that we are in a mental recession after he helped create the worst economy meltdown in our lifetime.
It will take the best and brightest minds in the world to get us out of this nightmare. As bad as Bush has done, McCain would be
even more destructive because things are in much worse shape. The next president will not inherit a surplus like Bush did but a tanking economy and a 11,600,000,000,000 (trillion) dollars deficit. Most of it Bush created and it will take decades to pay it back.
If you do what you have always done then you will get what you have always got.
When it comes to policy Bush and McCain are the same 90 percent of the time.
So why are the polls even close then ?

Mccains spokesperson just said they dont want to talk about the economy anymore. Instead they would rather make up lies and
and half truths and try a smear campaign .

    Hold them accountable NOW!
    Elect Obama Biden 2008

Good article, i totally agree. The economy is the top issue facing our country right now so it's important to pick a president that understands it. Not someone like Mccain who keeps saying our economy is strong even while were in a recession. If you say our economy is strong when it's this weak, then you've got a problem. And we can't afford to deal with anymore problems.

McCain and Bush tried to introduce legislation in 2003 and 2005 to reign in Fannie and Freddie, the main culprits of our economic mess.

Bush and McCain tried to fix the problem. Your pals, democrats Chis Dodd and Barney Franks stopped it.

        • Posted By: juanesenobueno @ 10/06/2008 10:58:59 AM

enough with the Fannie and Freddie excuses. Credit swaps are to blame. They incorporate credit card debt and auto loans too. So are you going to tell me no one should have gotten a credit card or auto loan unless they were rich? Our entire economy is based on the middle class and poor using their less than stellar credit on auto purchases and using their credit cards.

          • Posted By: Vypurr @ 10/06/2008 11:34:55 AM

What they're saying is that you can't give a 300,000.00 loan for a home to someone who has bad credit and no down payment. The melt down is a by-product of Fannie/Freddie doing so.

BTW, that's a far cry from "only the rich can have credit cards".

    • Posted By: tofubob @ 10/06/2008 12:55:06 PM

How will electing Obama (Acorn, Raines, etc) and giving the Democrats(created regulations which forced banks to make bad loans and blocked regulation which would have stopped Fannie and Freddie from ballooning up the subprime market with their government backed securties) full control be "holding them accountable"? McCain supported the regulations that the Democrats blocked. Don't be such a shallow partisan.

They should be ashamed of the immoral and unethical standards that their network displays on a continual basis. What they must be made to understand is that as citizens we rely upon networks for their fair and accurate reporting of events and we will not tolerate anything less, especially when its over the top or maybe I should say as far right as Fox News Network is. It is time to take a stand against Fox and look to other networks for fair and accurate news coverage.

How would you feel if your mother, sister, daughter, wife was constantly referred to as 'crippled' "injured" or somehow less than. You are hurting her when you write this...is that your intent? He has admitted to all of it. Leave his ex-wife out of it. There are many more substantive things you can attack him.

  • Posted By: Marianne3 @ 10/06/2008 10:07:16 PM

What Biden has in abundance, that Palin doesn't pocess at all, is common decency and true CLASS. He is upstraight in his principles, and it shows in an understated and restrained way - what you would expect from a well respected and trustworthy STATESMAN. He was kind and respectful towards his opponent. He took care to answer the questions, and was serious in his thinking and deliberation. Watching the contrast between this eloquent yet gracious statesman defending his position from constant attacks of a lightweight candidate was such a lesson for GRACE under fire and SELF-CONTROL.
Palin, on the other hand, was making such a spectacle of herself, an agressive flirting winking offence. Being a professional woman myself, I was indeed horified by her transparent attempt to play the "Sex Card" to her political advantage. Supreme showmanship/self-confidence with very little depth of knowledge/thinking can be a LETHAL COMBINATION for high office. She is certainly not ready nor fit to be VP!

    • Posted By: barrypropaganda @ 10/08/2008 7:16:19 PM

"understated and restrained way" "self-control" are not words associated with Biden - by his own admission.

  • Posted By: Nins @ 10/06/2008 10:18:49 PM

The GOP is grasping at straws. They have nothing substantive against Obama, but boy are they good at making up lies. This has been a leading Karl Rove tactic for years, and if America falls for this again we should be ashamed of ourselves. Not to mention the obvious fact that this is all a smokescreen to keep the focus off of the fact that Palin and her Alaska associates are in contempt of court for refusing to testify in the Troopergate hearings. After Nixon and Clinton, Americans are to some extent jaded, but really, would you want a VP who refuses to attend hearings in her own defense, and instructs her employees not to testify? That smells like guilt. It surely doesn't give the impression that she has done no wrong and has nothing to hide.

This year, the GOP offers you an angry old man and a woman who, while personable, is desperately uniformed about national and international issues. Both of them are far right politically. McCain used to be a maverick, but since 2004 he's voted 90% with Bush. McCain's policies are not original or reformist, despite how he's tried to co-opt Obama's popular message of change. Please go to the websites of both of the candidates and read their platforms. Obama's Blueprint for Change has more good ideas than McCain's plan. Compare them yourself. Obama's basic premise is that tax dollars should be spent to make America stronger and to improve the lives and well being of our people. For example, he uses education programs to train a new technology workforce, contributing to energy independence, creating jobs and improving the economy. When you read McCain's plan you will find no over-arching design to get America back on track. Instead you'll find more tax cuts for the wealthy, de-regulation of the health care industry, and a stated intent to overturn Roe v. Wade.

I'm a Republican. Although I embrace some forward-thinking social values, in the past I've rarely voted Democrat. My thinking was that since Republicans grow robust economies, by voting Republican I'd be endorsing a plan that would grow wealth for our nation, and then we'd be able to afford social programs. It was a good strategy for a couple decades, but I have to say that the tenure of W. Bush has changed my mind. Not only is there nothing fiscally responsible about today's GOP, the insidious alignment of the party with religious intolerance has really turned me off.

On the other hand, the intelligent luminous thought of Barack Obama has ignited my passion for politics and my patriotism. I want a President who puts America first and can get the economy back on track. In my mind, values voting takes a back burner when we are faced with a meltdown of the economy. It is time for a change, a real change. The Republicans have controlled the Presidency for 28 of the past 40 years, but they have fallen down on the job. The Democrats have a stellar candidate this year, and I am voting for Obama.

Rezko's officially cooperating with the feds. Curious how it comes amidst attacks on barry about Rezko and Ayers. Rezko;s initially sentencing date was 9-3 - then it got pushed back to a week before the election and now there is no date and the earliest would be December. Rezko will protect Obama - no two ways about that - of not he would have already squealed. But he is talking to the feds about Governor Rod Blagojevich, who if squeezed might just give up Obama. Blagojevich and his wife are being investigated about their house renovation, her wife's real estate dealings and "irregular" campaign donations. Sound familiar?
