Palin, McCain and the Weeks Ahead

Here's the bottom line in this election: You have two glasses in front of you and you must drink one of them. The glass on the right has been around for a long time and you know that if you drink it, it will kill you. You're not really sure what is in the glass on the left, it could make you sick or could make you better. Which do you choose? Hope or death?

I am rolling on the floor with laughter. I will be loving every minute of October as Republicans desperately try to pull themselves out of their downward electoral spiral. Hey Karl, if Sarah (may I call her Sarah?) is so inspirational then why did their campaign have to pull out of Michigan? We are truly supposed to believe in Palin's magical persuasive powers over Joe Sixpack, and she can't even cut it in MICHIGAN? That's not exactly latte country. Snicker...

Which is exactly 1/2 of what undermines Palin's supposed value to the McCain campaign. Palin either blatantly lies or she has no grasp of the facts. The evidence --repeatedly presented by Palin-- would be both are true: She lies and she has no true grasp of the facts.

How can a Christian endorse the lies and deception that define Sarah Palin?

She has presented herself as something other than what we actually do know of her. At best she is a hypocrite, but the evidence is worse -- she is either too stupid to know or she is a blatant liar.

The most recent evidence would be her referencing the NY Times article that explores Ayers and Obama's non-existent relationship and completely distorting it as something absurd. There are very few possible explanations:

--Palin knows something that no one else seems to know (unlikely given her actual statements);

--Palin did not read the article (although she claims to have);

--Palin read the article but did not understand it;

--Palin blatantly lied about the article;

--Palin is standing up in front of thousands of voters and Palin is simply repeating what McCain's campaign is telling her to say.

None of those choices makes for a qualified or desirable Vice President -- or God help us -- a President.

So I ask you again:

How can a Christian endorse the lies and deception that define Sarah Palin?

Karl Rove loves to play all sides of the fence: publicly he's the Experienced Expert, who, while being identified as a McCain adviser, figures he gains stature by reaching across the aisle and giving the Obama campaign free advice, and "objectively" analyzing the status of the election. Privately, he is probably advising the McCain camp to do their dirtiest tricks, including smears, voter suppression and ridiculous "investigations into receipt of illegal foreign donations," just so that the word "investigation" can be used about Obama -- the same week the ethics investigation results about Governor Palin are due to come out. He fools few.

The same media that tries to make the case that a former community organizer and half term senator is competent to be President tries, at the same time to argue that the Governor of Alaska is incompetent to be VP.With all of that simultaneous sucking and blowing its no wonder the liberal talking heads are in a perpetual state of hyper ventilation

Sarah Palin manages a state with a smaller population than the county I live in. Many county executives have more experience than she does. Let's forget about experience and focus on the top of the ticket's intellectual qualifications. Obama graduated magna *** laude from Harvard Law School while McCain graduated 894th out of 899 graduates at Annapolis. Which one do you think is smart enough to run the cocountry?

There goes Karl Rove campaigning for McCain just like he did for Bush. Not interested in this guy's opinion at all as I see where it got us already.

Karl Rove led George Bush's campaign, we saw the same smear tactics and look who we got for President. This is a tactic that is near and dear to Karl Rove. Problem is, we are all onto to him and we are sick of the smears we are hearing. We are sick, sick, sick of McCain's and Palin's negative ads. We want the facts and we are certainly not getting them from the Republican side. Why won't Sarah Palin testify in her dear state of Alaska where she has been subpoened but refuses to testify. Doesn't that sound a lot like Dick Cheney? All I can say iS: SARAH, YOUR LIPSTICK IS SMEARED BUT YOU'RE STILL A PIG.

We do not know much about that "great" experience in Alaska. few facts show us an ugly management style with closest incompetent friends on topof departments. She is NOT there for 2 years, but for 1,5 , so actuallt was keeping running things how they were before.

Every voter should just close eyes and try to imagine this Pit Bull woman in shoes of that voter's mother. The horror would be so huge, that opening eyes he will NEVER vote for the Monster-woman
