IN MY OPINION: KARL ROVER IS JUST A BIG LIAR AS THE TWO LOST COWS, PALIN AND McCAIN. JUST BY WATCHING PALIN MAKE A JACKASS OUT HERSELF IN INTERVIEWS AND IN THE DEBATE TELLS ME THAT KARL IS BEING WORSE THAN A CROOK. IF SOMEONE KNOWS WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT, IT IS KARL ROVE.

WHAT IS GOING TO MAKE THE DIFFERENCE IN THIS ELECTION IS THE FUNDAMENTAL DIFFERENCE IN THE WAY EACH POLITICAL PARTY SERVES THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WHICH IS DELIVERING SOLUTIONS, NOT FIXES, FROM THE BOTTOM UP, NOT FROM THE BOTTOM DOWN. GET THAT THROUGH YOUR HEAD MR. K. ROVE.

THE TWO LOST COWS, PALIN AND McCAIN ARE NOT GOING TO WIN IF THEY ATTACK OBAMA AND BIDEN'S CHARACTER WITH LIES AND INUENDOS. FACTCHECK.COM, THE INTERNET, AND RACHEL MADOW WILL
MAKE SURE OF THAT. THIS STRATEGY WILL ONLY MAKE YOU AND THE REPUBLICAN PARTY LOOK WORSER, WORSER, AND WORSER!

MR. K.R. TURN OUT THE LIGHTS, ON YOU WAY OUT. THE PARTY IS OVER, THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IS CANNOT OVERTURN THE DAMAGE DONE IN 30 DAYS! NOT EVEN WITH LIES, LIKE YOURS!

WHAT? AM I GOING TO VOTE FOR THE LOST COWS TO NOWHERE? HELL NO! THANKS, BUT NO THANKS!

Palin reminds me of the FLDS wives at the YFZ Ranch in Eldorado, Texas...pull a string and the doll speaks and wnks. How can anybody take this woman seriously?

Here's the real problem in McCain's America. Watch the video:

I have no idea what Newsweek is doing printing ( AND PAYING FOR such partisan articles as Mr.Rove's, which is pure spin.

What Americans need now are objective, impartial, commentaries by non-partisan observers and students of the American political scene.

And as Hundenmaster says directly below, in somewhat different and much more direct words, does anything written by Rove have any value at all when he is tied to some of the most morally bankrupt of the policies and actions of the Bush administration?

Thanks to these tough times, the American people are finally beginning to see through the Republican Emperor's new clothes and realise that McCain-Palin simply represent more of the same that they have been offered for the past eight years and are deciding enough is enough.

As the recent post-debate polls indicate quite clearly (CBS 46%Biden vs 26%Palin AND CNN 51%Biden vs. 36%Palin), Americans are beginning to realise that serious times need serious leaders, not an opportunistic, cynical, cantankerous old codger and an empty-headed, grinning, winking, middle-aged Barbie doll.

When times are tough and the chips are down, Americans will not want leaders who are "just like them" but leaders who are BETTER than them : leaders who have intellectual capacity and judgement, not just glibness and faux-folksiness.

As Winston Churchill once remarked, ???The Americans will always do the right thing after they???ve exhausted all the alternatives.???

They seem to have pretty much done that now??? unless they want to try the McCain-Palin route first.

Who knows if Rove even reads the comments to his articles? I'll just say this in the hope that someone is reading this: it seems to me that the Republican playbook is predicated on ripping us apart as a nation. Instead of looking to build consensus the Republicans seek to drive wedges between us. I have friends and family that live in "red" and "blue" states, I have people in my life who are Republicans and Democrats across a wide socio-economic spectrum who I love. Karl Rove and the people who run John McCain's campaign seem to want to destroy those relationships, the seem to want us to hate each other. I know that John McCain has a history of reaching across the political divide, but he made his party hate him for it and he seems to have made promises to them in his campaign that will preclude him from ever being friendly to people who don't agree with the Republican Party line. I am sick of living in a country where the leaders want us to hate each other and I don't believe that we can sustain our nation without people who try to build consensus and avoid divisive wedge politics. So thanks but no thanks to the McCain Palin hate ticket.

Karl Rove is a political genius but he uses his intelligence for supporting terribly bad people like Bush. Hence Karl Rove is either unpatriotic or lacks very badly in his judgement . Moreover how dare a person like him dare to question others judgment after supporting & misguiding / misleading Bush in evry decision of his and therby discrediting the USA worldwide.? So - if Rove supports any person that means others should keep a safe distance from person.

I will listen to Potato Head after he testifies under oath his part in the Plame & US Attorney firings. If he's not guilty, why is hiding?? Does Newsweek actually pay this corrupt moron to spew more of his Bush propaganda??

Why should Americans be sure of Obama/Biden?
Both are far left, liberals and so there is no balance to their ticket at all! Biden actually touts a 1000 thousand -cops scam and numbers game so much like Obamas tire guage to oil independence proposals!
Obama can't find time to visit wounded troops but sure knows Bill Ayers, a domestic terrorist who wanted to have all the worlds violence come to the streets of the USA.
Palin did succeed in comparison, to show Biden to be a wheezing old socialist of the type that has been trouble for the DNC. A disconnect from the American people who make this country work!
Obama has talked and never walked! And how he has talked some more don't convince me!
This is a great country! Americans are awesome people! And to this Biden and Obama would add..."but it isn't! Don't you agree? Can't we come together on that?"
    NOPE!
Americans are a fantastic people and we live in a great nation! Why doesn't Obama agree?

are you on acid man? or your elevator never reached the top floor?
Obama doesn't question the character of the Ammerican populace! He questions the character of its present leaders and power hungry McPalin duo.

The choice is clear. Obama single-handedly solved the economic crisis. His tax infusion of cash to banks grants all of us the perk of free checking. The stock market doubled our pensions in gratitude. The pure dynamic of Obama's leadership compelled the insurance companies to provide low cost universal coverage and doctors to reinstitute home visits at minimal cost. Obama has fixed the tax code and entitled all of us to a rebate. The job market is rippling with new energy as foreclosures disappear and new housing starts spring forward. Every school has been funded with computers, high paid teachers and special needs programs. Foreign leaders cower before his wisdom. The choice is clear. Bush/McCain has done none of that. Palin's impact though as a leader of men has been incredible. She changed Biden from a lifetime as a reckless jokester to the very image of statesmanship and wise leadership. In Palin's presence Biden morphed from a stutterer to a well spoken man with immeasurable facts at his disposal. More compelling still is that he has actually walked his talk in foreign relations. His only offense is that he tattled that Palin did not answer a question. The choice is clear. Of course, McCain correctly identified Cox, Paulson and Frank as the source of the lax bank regulation, not Bush (who has his own demons). McCain correctly identified Palin as the leader for home grown energy. McCain understands commander in chief duties so as not to bad mouth troops even now in battle and not announce strategy to the enemy. McCain has Hucklebee and Romney to help restore integrity to the White House. The choice is clear.

Mr. Rove misses the point. Nobody is complaining that Gov. Palin is unqualified because she arose from "ordinary" circumstances. The reason Gov. Palin is unqualified is the deficiency of her intellect--not her background. Anyone who objectively watched the Couric interviews would have to conclude that Gov. Palin did not have the curiosity or understanding of American history we should expect in someone who presumes to lead this great country. Later she claimed that the reason she did not answer Couric's questions was not because she had no examples, but because she was being flippant or was annoyed. That is even worse in my opinion. A person with that sort of childish attitude has no place making decisions in a complex and dangerous world. Anyone who twice tries to seriously claim that the geographic proximity of Alaska to Russia is a foreign policy qualification can hardly be presented as a person with the judgement Mr. Rove attributes to her. And if the divisive tactics proposed by Rove for the balance of the campaign should succeed, then I fear that whatever is left will hardly be worth the victory. Do we not have right now in the White House a sad example of what the tactics of the likes of Mr. Rove will lead to. Let us pray Mr. Rove again misses the mark as he did in 2006.

mcCain had to actually look into her, her soul, or whatever, and really believe in his, his heart that she was the best one for the gig. weird. the republicans should be cut out-then make the Dems the new republicans and morph one of those small-hippy parties into a brand new "sane" party. hermosa beach boogaloo

yes. Bush looked into Putin's eyes and McCain looked into Palin's. I guess that makes McCain a sure bet to be President for Alaska when they seperate from the USA!?!

Roving Rove! The ghost of the Bush era. You should be sent to the front line in Iraq. The money that you and your cohorts have made on the blood of brave American soldiers cries to the sky for justice. God Save us from you and God Bless America.

Carl Rove worst than Iyers and others in the sense that he destryeed both Gore & Kerry''s and helped GWBush install as president of USA . And Bush in turn detroyed everything America stood for - Democracy , Human Rights, Economy and its standing in the world. So in a way Rove is a mentally unbalanced & sick person worse than Iyers etc for USA.

Shouldn't Karl Rove be where he belongs...in a cell with O.J. Simpson?

Be Real. Palin got off light at the debate. She talked about how she knows college expenses are a family concern. Yet her daughter seemingly dropped out of school, is only marrying the other dropout because of campaign pressure, and her son had to be sent away for his senior year, then joined the army rather than attend college. Palin gets on a plane 8 months pregnant and then gets on another plane after her water breaks. She has outstanding sense of poor judgement. Oh I'm sorry, It is quite possible she abuses power such as ignoring subpoena's in troopergate.
But where she really got off easy was the debate where she couldn't get anything right and know one held her accountable.
Wrong on troop numbers in Iraq.
Wrong on General Mckiernan's comment on Afghanistan.
Wrong on her own previously announced stances on gay rights and global warming. Wrong on the pipeline which isn't completed because she never negotiated with the tribes whose land it would cross. Wrong on the fiscal condition in which she left Wasilla.
This women is walking contradiction that intelligence and honesty are pre- requisites for public office.

Mr Rove, Have you not harmed and put our country in danger enough? You should just consider yourself a very lucky man who didn't end up in jail for the offenses you have committed and go away. You've got your work on fix news that should be enough? To fellow citizens, It's time this country follows through with this cultural war, which rove has helped us into, and be divided. We cannot come together as a nation until people like Rove and Cheney are out of the picture. Newsweek has the right to publish whom ever they wish but most people reading an article by Rove realize it is fiction.

RAINCITY is right about OhBOMBya. No one in a senate seat should be allowed to vote other than yea or nay. But damn Raincity, you should REALLY reconsider "Agreeing" with the likes of Rove. He is the brown scum that is so hard to scrub out of the toilet bowl. I live for the day he is brought up on charges of treason and sedition and murder of a million Iraqis. I cannot wait to see if Pelosi will turn on bushbaby once he is out of office. Pelosi has no choice but to push for charges, or she will be seen as an accomplice to the tragedy Bushbaby brought down upon us.
You sheep should have forced the media to stop marginalizing Ron Paul....

John McCain is confused, showing signs of dementia, likely to have his melanoma cancer return and is mindlessly spouting lies from his sleazy, dishonest campaign. Another four years of Bush would totally destroy our country and this is what the American people would get with McCain.

Sarah Palin is clearly unqualified to be President, is a religious fundamentalist extremist who would take away a women's right to choose and would create an American Taliban reversing all the gains in civil rights. For the sake of our country, we must make sure that Barack Obama is elected President.
