Given your well-known connections to the Republican Party, it would probably go better for you to disguise your obvious bias towards McCain/Palin if you want to convince anybody other than McCain/Palin supporters of your views. I am not convinced. McCain would do better to attack Obama's position on issues rather than Obama's character, judgment, and values. Oh wait. By arguing that this is the best strategy for McCain to win shows just how desperate the situation must be for you, McCain/Palin, and the Republicans.

Palin is not as qualified as any of the candidates.
A great smile, bright personality, and the ability to read (not write), but read a speech well does not a president or vice-president make.

Joey Buttafucco ran a business with a payroll and budget for years,
does that make him have more executive experience than any of the candidates? or maybe it makes him just as qualified for the presidency as Palin.

ENOUGH, with all of your HATE speech. Bush, Cheney, Rove, McCain, got us into a war using LIES, McCain is a LIAR, now with McCain and Palin Hate Speech, they will get us into a war at home. Decent Americans who really love this great country must stand up and say "ENOUGH" Stick to the issues that will keep this country strong in economics, health, education, and peace.

Inciting lynch mob crowds yelling out "kill Obama" is wrong, and if you truly
love this country and all that it stands for around the world, you will write, email, call, your TV, Cable, or newspaper and tell them ENOUGH coverage of HATE SPEECH from McCain/ Palin.

Mr. Obama is attacking on issues NOT hate, McCain is not talking about issues, he is attacking on HATE and smiling when people yell out "kill" instead of distancing himself from such talk (does that make McCain a terrorist sympathizer)?

In a few weeks we will make a choice that will decide our future.
I follow an economist named Bob Proctor. He has called the top and bottom of every market crash since the 70s correctly.
Also, he perfectly predicted the current real estate market meltdown and the picture he paints about what will happen in the next couple years
is terrifying. He thinks it will be worse then the great depression.
The banks in the U.S. are going under one after the other. Countrywide ,Bear Stearns, Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch , Fanny and Freddy Mae ,AIG
The government took them over because they are essentially bankrupt. Even with the goverment nationalizing hundreds of billions of dollars in debt the stock market is crashing
the credit markets are frozen and all of us may suffer beyond anything in the last 80 years.
McCain just like Bush " doesn't understand the economy".
That not just my opinion its his own words. Not only does he not understand how to fix it but he does not understand exactly what is broken.
It is no surprise that he doesn't. The people that make up these securities use complex mathematical models very few people understand.
Bush and McCain both can take the credit for this mess since they helped deregulate the laws that were protecting us.
Bush's economic advisor Phil Graham wrote the deregulation bill that allowed banks to take huge risks with all of our future.
Now, Phil Graham is the head of McCain's economic policy. He is also McCain's choice for the next secretary of the treasury.
No one in this country can afford for that to happen. The last time Bush met with his economic advisors was in March. He didnt realize that anything was wrong. Phil Graham had the guts to say that we are in a mental recession after he helped create the worst economy meltdown in our lifetime. Check out this link to the truth http://my.barackobama.com/keatingvideo
It will take the best and brightest minds in the world to get us out of this nightmare. As bad as Bush has done, McCain would be
even more destructive because things are in much worse shape. The next president will not inherit a surplus like Bush did but a crashing economy and a 11,600,000,000,000 (trillion) dollars deficit. Most of it Bush created and it will take decades to pay it back.
If you do what you have always done then you will get what you have always got.
When it comes to policy Bush and McCain are the same 90 percent of the time.
So why are the polls even close then ?
Mccains team just said they no longer want to talk about the economy.Instead they would like to spend time talking about obama
which means running the biggest smear campaign in history.
They think they can just tell you lies and you wont be smart enough to see through it
Let's teach him we are smarter than that .

I agree with Karl Rove, and may i say that am surprised that senator john Mcain and the American people have allowed this ridiculous soap opera to go on for far too long. in my opinion the race would have been a no-contest a long time ago if the mcain people had not listened to the media and their ???experts???, and had focussed on the most important issue a lot of people have overlooked.. if the mcain people had focussed on character vis a viz Senator Obama, I bet he would have been exposed a long time ago for the fraud that he is.
Character goes to the heart of everything, be it the dire economic situation, terrorism, patriotism et al..The problem on wall street is as a result of the deficiency in character of the major players in wall street and Washington..Obama in my opinion is a sitting duck when it comes to issues on character. he has a busload of indiscretions that are already in the public domain. They can be used to good effect to put the benefit of doubt in the mind of the voters. i am not referring to incoherent personal attacks but a more articulate and sustained discourse on his bad judgement in the past that could cost the American people dearly if elected president.

One such indiscretion is his association with that radical pastor of his. This is a relationship that dates back many years. For his pastor to have uttered such nonsense after the attacks of September 11 it must follow that he harbours such resentment towards America. that statement must not be treated in isolation as a moment of passion or madness by the pastor, because it goes into the core of his mindset and belief. that statement is not a recent one. It was made a long time ago even before obama thought of running for president. This goes to the heart of Obamas judgement, and am at a loss as to why he did not denounce the pastor then ( if he did not share such a belief ) when it was not politically expedient to do so?? why denounce the pastor now when it is politically expedient to do so?? Obama cannot tell me that he was not 1) aware of the pastors comments 2) aware of the pastors beliefs 3) aware of the pastors political leanings?? This is a Pastor he respects and a church he regularly attended.
The logical thing was to severe ties with the pastor if he didnt share the pastors toxic views long before it became a baggage for his ambition. How many former associates and friends will Obama severe ties with because they hurt his inordinate ambition to become the first black president, how many? There is an old adage that says, show me who your friends and acquaintances are and I will show you who you truly are! Americans, don???t be fooled by Obama, the media and his campaign people, that his actions are just mere indiscretions. THEY ARE NOT! They go to the heart of who he truly his. He is an opportunist, a calculating and dangerous person, who will deny past associations that hurt his inordinate ambition to make history

Why is newsweek giving editorial space to reptilian Bush operatives like Karl Rove? Shouldn't he be in jail right now.? After all treason, (Valerie Plaime) fraud (Jack Abramoff) and the political firings of judicial branch employees all add up to criminal behavior. I know the tortured acrobatics to be "balanced" have caused decent publications like yours to hire flacks like Rove and Gerson,.

If what I have seen for the last month from John McCain's Campaign is a sample of what the next 4 years will be --- I don't want any part of it. Sarah Palin has about as much sense as my poodle, and I have finally witnessed Mr. McCain's temper 1st hand. Being from Texas I am used to seeing temper tantrums from our leaders (Bush) so personally I'll take someone that is cool, calm and collected. This ATTACK that Sarah Palin and Cindy McCain oh and the Ring Leader Ol' John himself, has absolutly made me sick to my stomach. It has left them all with a bad reputation and also left Sarah Palin in a position where no one would ever consider her for a political career in any office anywhere EVER !!!! But she made that choice all by herself.

All these new attacks have done have shown the immaturity and desperation of a sinking campaign. It is so sad when a campaign has to go back 40 years to find something on a person and then try to beat it to death.

    Vote for John McCain!!!!!!!!
John McCain is the one who can come up with solutions to our economic problems. Barack Obama and Joe Biden are mathematically challenged. Send them back to school and this time have them study something that is useful.
Joe Biden with his history and political science double major in college and Barack Obama???s major in political science give them absoloutely no economic, scientific, quantitative or analytical background to handle the pressing economic and military problems facing our country.
These two mathematically challenged Democrats are supposed to be able to crunch numbers and understand how to cope with our economic and budget crisis. Two people who probably can???t add four numbers together are suppose help solve our economic crisis.
Do you know that they offer basic accounting continuing education classes to lawyers because most lawyers do not understand simple accounting. We have had enough mathematically challenged lawyers screw up our country. You at least know that John McCain has the computational and analytic skills to compute fuel loads, cargo weights, wind speeds, and trip distances to keep from running out of gas on missions.

How would you like it, if Joe Biden or Barack Obama would take the controls and fly your Boeing 777 on your next commercial flight here in the US. Most independent and undecided voters would not rest easy knowing that Biden or Obama can rely on what they learned in their civil procedure class to help you land safely and not run out of jet fuel during the trip. Pilots have proven analytical skills.
There is a saying that there are old and bold pilots but no old bold pilots. John McCain has that good judgment and he has the proven analytical skills to be able to tackle our budget problems. Barack Obama and Joe Biden can spend the next four years and take some accounting and economics continuing legal education classes.
After four years of academic coursework, then they might be able to throw their hat in the ring. Given their academic training, a trillion dollars may look the same as a million dollars on a budget spreadsheet.
Vote for John McCain!! He is the one who can come up with solutions to our economic problems.

Vote John McCain!!!! Vote John McCain!!!!

  • Posted By: mccainsupporter @ 10/09/2008 1:39:28 PM

Vote John McCain!!!! Vote John McCain!!!!
I want the President to be someone who can think for himself and not rely exclusively like a blind person on a particular advisor. I want someone who understands numbers and can make analytical decisions himself. Years of computing payloads, fuel requirements, weather and distances as a pilot are the experiences that John McCain brings to the table when listening to economic proposals. His eyes will not glaze over when there are ten page budget spreadsheet proposals presented to him. Barack Obama and Joe Biden have no mathematical or quantitative education or experience between them. They do not teach accounting in law school.

That is why they offer basic basic accounting to attorneys as continuing education classes after they are licensed. I also am willing to bet that neither Barack Obama or Joe Biden never took a basic accounting continuing legal education class to improve their lack of skills.

Both Obama and Biden were political science majors as undergraduate which means they have no quantitative training or mathematical background. The average nurse who gives vaccinations or antibiotics shots have better computational and mathematical training than either Joe Biden or Barack Obama.

A nurse knows not to give you a tenfold quantity of any particular drug and has a good foundation in mathematics. Similarly all pilots are trained in vectors and physics.

John McCain is the one who can come up with solutions to our economic problems.

Barack Obama and Joe Biden are mathematically challenged. Send them back to school.

    Vote John McCain!!!!

Sarah Palin is good at communicating a brief and speech prepared by others. But the job of Vice President is not about that. You do have to have at least the basic knowledge of politics, economics and world affairs of the 'person in the street', and so far she has shown that she does not. In an iteresting point about what she would do as VP, Sarah Palin suggested she could focus on energy. Yet in the debate, where she failed to be able to answwer any questions, and thought that 'Achilles Heel' meant a point of excellence, she clearly knew nothing about carbon emissiontaxes and trading. Some energy expert Her record in Alaska shows consistent abuse of power, both in her personnek policy ad in her financial behaviour, such as you would expect from a deeply ambitious and vain woman, who has never been exposed to the normal constraints and criticisms of the working world with her peers. Further to her record, she left a very small town (9000 peope ) with a 20 million debt. I agree with Joe Meacham; representing (being) the average guy and guyess is not what is needed for the almost highest office in the most powerful country in the world. If she is too thin skinned to face the media, how can she face leaders from outside the United States? And if she is so thin skinned, how come she is so happy making her cheap attacks on Obama? Did she not consider that her husband's long membership of the secessioniet Alaska Independence Party, and her messages of support fr this party, could be used against her with much more clout, than the fact that Obama sat on a board with an educaiton professor who 40 years ago was an ant Vietnam War revolutionary? I am a life long ocservative, of libertarian bent, but if I were a US citizen, I would never vote a ticket that could give this ignorant and unpleasant person, incapable of learning a brief or undertsanding a topic, any power

We have already had one President who doesn't read, doesn't think, just listens to the evi counsel of Karl Rove without regard to what it has done to our country. Bush/Rove/Cheney have brought this country to its knees--we are in two wars, the country is bankrupt (as Osama Bin Laden hoped it would be), and the country's people are polarized. Palin is a Karl Rove dream, just like Bush, she is an intellectually bankrupt, egocentric, idealogue, who knows nothing about history, the world, or even current events. Her pastor has made sure, however, she won't be worried by witches along the way, so we can all rest easy. Rove and his ilk will use her like they did Bush, leaving her looking like a used moron--ala George Bush. She and her ilk are dangerous to thsi country.

It is clear during the debates that both Barack Obama and Joe Biden want to fight the war on terror only in a politically correct manner. Barack Obama worries how the world may view us. John McCain understands that winning the war on terror is not a sure bet and minimizing the loss of American military lives and casualties is more important than fighting in a politically correct manner.

John McCain???s military service gives him better insights on this issue than either Barack Obama or Joe Biden. Joe Biden brings his personal perspective about being knocked down and getting back up to the country. However, the country can not take being knocked down and expected to get back up as easily as Joe has done in the past.

Joe Biden has stated in his campaign repeatedly it does not matter how many times you are knocked down what counts is the number of times that you get back up. I am sure his experiences as a teenanger with asthma contributed to his belief that you have to get back up when knocked down. While ninety percent of asthma cases are diagnosed before most children turn six years old, Joe Biden beat the odds and fell into that unfortunately ten percent group of children who come down with asthma after age six.

Joe Biden also had to get back up and move on with his life in 1968, when the Selective Service System found that he was ineligible to serve during the peak of the Vietnam War due to his having asthma as a teenager. Joe Biden previously had received five college student draft deferments over a six year period from 1963 to 1968 when finally his asthma condition became known to the Selective Service System and he was deemed ineligible to fight for his country in 1968. During that period Joe Biden completed his undergraduate degree and three years of law school at Syracuse University.

Without his diagnosis of asthma and five previous student deferments, Joe Biden could have gone in and served his country honorably as a officer and a gentleman and perhaps as a Judge Advocate Law Officer similar to his son.

It was unfortunate that his asthma condition that is only diagnosed in ten percent of children after age six caused Joe Biden to not be able to serve his country during a time of war.

Although Joe Biden has moved on from his teenage asthma, John McCain still presents the United States with a clear superior choice of a commander in chief to lead our country.
Vote John McCain!!!!!!!!! Vote John McCain !!!!!!!!!!!!

The Nashville Townhall debate was hilarious with Barack Obama criticizing John McCain???s plan for allowing insurers in different states to provide health care plans in other states. None of the national news commentators seem to pick up on the comment.

Senator John McCain said that his medical plan allowing plans from other states would lead to choice, competition, and lower costs for consumers and companies. Barack Obama said that would lead to inadequate protections and it would be similar to the incorporation laws of Delaware where most United States corporations are incorporated. Corporations from many states incorporate in Delaware. Barack Obama was insulting the laws and voters of Delaware and his running Joe Biden who has been a Senator from Delaware for the past thirty years. Apparently Barack Obama feels that the incorporation statutes of Delaware are inadequate and offer little protection to investors or creditors of those corporations around the country. If that was the case, why hasn???t Senator Joe Biden from Delaware or Barack Obama jumped in there and get the Delaware state legislature to change the corporation laws of Delaware. Senator Joe Biden???s failure to do so for the past thirty years must reflect on him according to Barack Obama???s analysis.

It is amazing that Barack Obama would use an example criticizing the laws of a state of his running mate Joe Biden. Just imagine what Barack Obama would have said about Delaware incorporation laws if Joe Biden was not on the ticket. Independent and undecided voters of Delaware and around the country, vote John McCain!!!!!!!
vote John McCain!!!!!!! vote John McCain!!!!!!! vote John McCain!!!!!!!
