Well, Palin really has to be tolerant of homosexuals. After all, the Bush administration has been sodomizing the country for eight years, and it looks like McCain swings from the same side of the plate.

n a few weeks we will make a choice that will decide our future.
I follow an economist named Bob Proctor. He has called the top and bottom of every market crash since the 70s correctly.
Also, he perfectly predicted the current real estate market meltdown and the picture he paints about what will happen in the next couple years
is terrifying. He thinks it will be worse then the great depression.
The banks in the U.S. are going under one after the other. Countrywide the largest morgage bank in the world,Bear Stearns, Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch which are 3 out of the top 5 wall street firms. Also, Fanny and Freddy Mae which hold 50 percent of the home loans in the United States.
The government took them over because they are essentially bankrupt. If they didn't the entire financially system would virtually shut down, the stock market would crash and we would suffer beyond what any of us have seen before.
McCain just like Bush " doesn't understand the economy".
That not just my opinion its his own words. Not only does he not understand how to fix it but he does not understand exactly what is broken.
It is no surprise that he doesn't. The people that make up these securities use complex mathematical models very few people understand.
Bush and McCain both can take the credit for this mess since they helped deregulate the laws that were protecting us.
Bush's economic advisor Phil Graham wrote the deregulation bill that allowed banks to take huge risks with all of our future.
Now, Phil Graham is the head of McCain's economic policy. He is also McCain's choice for the next secretary of the treasury.
No one in this country can afford for that to happen. The last time Bush met with his economic advisors was in March. He either didn't care or didn't realize that anything was wrong. Phil Graham had the guts to say that we are in a mental recession after he helped create the worst economy meltdown in our lifetime.
It will take the best and brightest minds in the world to get us out of this nightmare. As bad as Bush has done, McCain would be
even more destructive because things are in much worse shape. The next president will not inherit a surplus like Bush did but a tanking economy and a 11,600,000,000,000 (trillion) dollars deficit. Most of it Bush created and it will take decades to pay it back.
If you do what you have always done then you will get what you have always got.
When it comes to policy Bush and McCain are the same 90 percent of the time.
So why are the polls even close then ?
Mccains spokesperson just said they dont want to talk about the economy anymore. Instead they would rather make up lies and
and half truths and try a smear campaign .
Hold them accountable NOW!

Please post it everywhere, so people can read it all: republicans, independents, democrats, libertarians, non-denomination...you name it.
No, being republican is being gay. They do it all behind! and have S***** us all!!!!
No one... and I mean no one at all... can point to even one credible source of Republican voter fraud. Yes, they can spout out unprovable false claims by the angry-ultra-left that consistently throws out a false smear to see if it will stick. But nothing, I repeat nothing. Not even the so-called Florida hanging chads which after all the votes were finally counted..... Al Gore LOST without the Supreme Court ruling.
On the other side, you do not have to go back too far to find an epedemic of voter fraud and a willingness to look the other way by Democrats. The most recent is the case in Ohio where you can register to vote and vote in the same day. Without any backgroud checks and by only showing the last 4 digits of your social security number. Or someone elses SS# if you want. A voter fraud heaven. And there are no checks and balances to keep a college student to vote in Ohio, and then go to their home state and vote there too.
The facts and truth keep getting in the way of the Obama campaign. His activities with the ultra-left ACCORN group, including helping to actually train them would be enough to doom a Republican because the media would expose the Republican relentlessly as they should. But with Obama and virtually any other Democrat, it does not matter if you have a history with a bigoted religious group, an American terrorist, the boys at Fannie May and Freddie Mac that personally brought us the economic meltdown, convicted fellons who help you get a cut rate deal on your million dollar home... and the list goes on.
As long as totally out of touch Hollywood elite, the angry left in the blogisphere, and the ultra-Liberal Media are unwilling to tell the American people the truth, and continue to prop up the lies... America is truly in a world of hurt.
When truth ceases to matter... so does journalism.
If you want to learn the truth... you must be willing to dig it out for yourself.
Well a group from Arizona set up shop in Nevada, Oregon, and two other states to register voters, only problem was if the potential voter declared Democrat that registration and there were thousands was thrown in the dumpster, so the voter would remain unregistered, those who declared themselves as Republican were in fact registered. When Bush got into office it was all swept under the rug??? thats a fact Jack
It's just a matter of time before McCain's camp completely shut this thing down. The republicans will definately try to steal this election at the polling places. Remember, we vote by machine, need I say more.
There is video of Palin in debate for Alaska Governor where she clearly states that she would not agree with giving gay couples legal rights to insurance or hospital rights to visit. The question posed was not about gay marriage. It was purely about humane human rights for gay couples. And Palin stated quite clearly that she was against it. She has also stated that being gay is a choice people make. Her church offers programs to "fix" 'em. I don't think that Palin has flip flopped. I think she flat out lied about her views and beliefs on the subject. She has strong religious views on this topic. Watch the video for yourself.
This whole issue is soon to become so passe! There's already a zoophile-rights revolution raging! What's she going to say about that???
If you haven't yet heard about it, quickly watch the new documentary, named "Coming Soon," at http://www.comingsoon.cz. (It's free.) It will certainly add some unexpected perspective.
Obama/Biden 08!
This is shoddy reporting. McCain and Palin have gone on the record repeatedly opposing any form of civil rights protections on the basis of sexual orienbation or gender identity. They OPPOSE allowing gay people to serve openly in the military, OPPOSE the federal law banning discrimination on the basis of sexual orienation and gender identity, SUPPORT constitutional amendments on the ballot in California, Florida, and Arizona to ban same-sex marriage, OPPOSE partner benefits for federal employees, and OPPOSE adoptions by gay people. And you end your story with an uncontested quote from the campaign that they oppose "all forms of discrimi9nation against people with different lifestyles"? That is a demonstrable lie. Just read the Republican platform and look at the record. McCain did indeed vote against a federal constitutional amendment to ban same-sex marriage, but only because he said it was not needed yet. He supported the Airzona amendment against same-sex marriage that also banned partner benefits and he voted for the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act that bans federal recogniton of legal same-sex marriages, a law Obama favors repealing.
They ( Reps and Dems) made my choice easy when both McCain and Obama voted to keep the goose (Wall Strreet) laying golden eggs to finance their political futures. Both in that one act betrayed the average hard working, tax-paying, every day American. Nader gets my protest vote. Palin is an oddity, period, and like most Alaskans live in an insulated, as well as isolated enviroment.I find her a good study-but scary..
jayarr: I don't agree with the bailout either. But I do think it is important to not be a single issue voter. A vote for Nader, depending on which state you live in, could well be a vote for McCain. Is that really what you want? The greater good sometimes demands that we put our individual hot button issues aside.
Dave
Unfortunately, you have three choices: McCain/Palin, Obama/Biden, or throw away your vote. Until we live in a country where to win any elected office you must garner 50% + 1 ov the vote, instead of winning by a plurality, that will be our choice. Then you can vote your concience, knowing that if your candidate doesn't get that majority there will be a runoff, instant or otherwise. The only question now is: Do you want current policies in effect for the next 4 years or not?
So Palin has reversed her position on gay rights, or she hasn't? She has also reversed her position on Global Warming, and has reversed McCain's position on whether or not we would send troops into Pakistan chasing after Bin Laden. Currently she is trying to reverse his position on Michigan. Who is at the top of the ticket here?
She is an environmentalist who hunts from a helicopter with an AK47 trying to wipe out an entire species. Is that what environmentalists do?.
Be Real. Palin got off light at the debate. She talked about how she knows college expenses are a family concern. Yet her daughter seemingly dropped out of school, is only marrying the other dropout because of campaign pressure, and her son had to be sent away for his senior year, then joined the army rather than attend college. Palin gets on a plane 8 months pregnant and then gets on another plane after her water breaks. She has outstanding sense of poor judgement. Oh I'm sorry, It is quite possible she abuses power such as ignoring subpoena's in troopergate.
But where she really got off easy was the debate where she couldn't get anything right and know one held her accountable.
Wrong on troop numbers in Iraq.
Wrong on General Mckiernan's comment on Afghanistan.
Wrong on her own previously announced stances on gay rights and global warming. Wrong on the pipeline which isn't completed because she never negotiated with the tribes whose land it would cross. Wrong on the fiscal condition in which she left Wasilla.
This women is walking contradiction that intelligence and honesty are pre- requisites for public office.
right on track with the double talk express.
It was obvious that Palin was lying on this one. Remember George Bush claimed he supported civil unions during the campaign too. Just like Palin he was attempting to shield his radical right views and appear moderate.
The eral test will come if California upholds the right to same-sex marriage. If this is indeed "up to the states" as mcCain claims, then he should have no problem with the Federal government recognizing each individual state's definition of marriage.
Palin was lying, I expect her or her campaign to blame it on Ifill soon.
Either that, or the evangelicals are really, really stupid/
Come to think of it, the two are not mutually exclusive
The government deals in legal contracts. Churches deal in marriage. Let's have a separation of church and state.
Precisely!
Marriage should be eliminated from governmental control, and civil unions made available to everyone.
It is the surest way of saving "the institution of marriage", which should really please the evangelicals.
But only if evangelicals were not intent on mandating their religious views on others.
I am so pleased to hear that you do support civil rights for gay couples, Sarah. I am sure that extends to lesbian, bi, and transgendered persons as well. So refreshing to hear a Pentecostal, fundamentalist, gun toting, paranoid, closed-minded ultra conservative coming around a bit, really looking and seeing the world. I'll vote for Barack all the same, but it's nice to know that you care-you really care!
Dave
I am tired of the argument that the definition of marriage has been unchanged for millennia. Are we so far past the civil rights movement of the latter century that we forget that marriage between different races was once prohibited?! In that era marriage was defined only within your race, and I thank the Lord (which I do believe in), that it was redefined then as should be now.
You have seen the cheery face of evil, folks. The devil ain't gonna have bright-red skin and a tail. Scary stuff.
