Beauty and the Beast were surprised at how well the pitbull did in the debate. But Joe Six Pack wasn't fooled. So now they are back to their old tricks- character assasination, lies and distortion.

You state McCain's health plan will offer less benefits than the present employer plan.
What in the world do you think Obama will do to our health coverage? He'll have all of us in HMO-type government health insurance, the worse of the worse. Have any of you ever been in a HMO? I have. All the doctors do for you is write out prescriptions and more prescriptions but will not order necessary costly tests or procedures or refer you to a specialist. You suffer. And you think Obama's plan is good? Hell, no. Our friends in England all have "Private Insurance" and will not go to the nation's national insurance, it means waiting and waiting and waiting. Let's fix what we have. First of all, as Shakespere said, "First, kill all the lawyers." We need to quit suing for everything, hot coffee one spills on her own hand, stupid lawsuits which attorneys take on contingency, etc. Do not even think of going into national health care. I'll go to a old lady who prescribes her own remedies before I'll be in a national halth care system as I'd feel as though I was getting better care.
For the first time in my life, I have pretty much decided that I will not bother to vote. Absolutely dismal choices. I cannot think of living politician; local, state or federal worth Sh*t.
AMERICA IS ABOUT TO MAKE A HISTORICAL DECISION ON ITS WAY OF LIFE
Numerous forces are at work, pressuring American voters into a decision during a time of extreme stress.

This is not a time for knee-jerk or emotional reactions. Cool heads should prevail.
This has been the pattern with Republican proposals around corporate interest groups. Wealth is shifted from the few to the many. It will come back to bite us. As an economist,, I have never been more concerned by the drift of Republican policy then I am right now. We are headed for a disaster.
It is obvious that McCain is completely out of touch when it comes to health care costs in this country. I am a self employed male, 45, and a healthy non smoker. My high deductible, catastrophic policy runs me $7800 a year! How exactly is it that McCains plan helps me out?
We need affordable national health insurance and we need it NOW!
One of the more serious implications of moving from group to individual coverage is the effect thet pre-existing condition limitations will have as they are imposed on peopole who move from one plan to another. The greater the movement from plan to plan the hewer incentives there are for insurers to encourage preventive care. On balance the McCain plan will increase costs and decrease coverage, increase hassles and move those who are most needy from being insured to uninsured.
