It is inconceivable to me that why O.J. hung around kept engaging himself in notorious activities. He should have disappear in some Caribbean island or even Europe. But that sense of invisibility coupled with front page publicity consumed him, What could have been an restive and enjoyable but in low profile golden years will now be spend in jail. OJ will have plenty of time to dwell on the consequences of his actions.

OMGoodness what a big Ass Dummie..First he gets off with a double murder, then he parades around the world thinking he's "Untouchable"..Hey I'm a black woman, and sorry to say but back in 1995 when he was Acquitted/Found Innocent, I FELT LIKE HE COMMITTED THE CRIME THEN JUST AS I STILL FEEL THE SAME NOW!! and I lost a lot of friends behind it but guess they weren't real friends to begin with. This OJSimpson Dummie should have lived the rest of his entire life (LAID BACK AND QUIET)...But Nooooo he wasn't satisfied without being a Media Clown..Now he'll live the life of Riley in jail with millions of dollars on his Commisary Prison Books...Hopefully the Goldmans and Browns can finally get some kind of emotional peace, but I hope they find a way to get some of OJ's money too...What a Damn Dummie...guess his book title was right..and this time "IF I DID IT"..well they caught him with his drawers down on camera cause "HE DID DO IT"

OH PLEASE! None of us have the right to act out in the way spoken of in this trial. Its the all mighty dollar that has ruined OJ's life. Let this be a lesson to all of us! Good luck OJ. May you find you peace in God and find may you find your place in the palm of his hand.

I agree with Coltfan ... OJ needs to be stripped bare of all of his honors and left penniless. He's nothing better than a stupid thug who thinks he's perfect. I feel sorry for his family, especially his children.

I have to agree with the assesment on Pete Rose and OJ, Pete has paid for what he has done in the past which is far less worse than what OJ has done.Let Pete Roseinto the Hall of Fame and remove OJ. OJ does not deserve to be allowed to have his name or anything that has to do with him in such a cherished forum.

Whatsfair, then you and I were watching entirely different trials. I listened only to the evidence and what the law was, when OJ said "Don't let nobody out of here" that is kidnapping, you can not hold someone against their will, also you hear OJ say "tell them there were no guns" so he knew there were guns and not only that, but Ricco tried to get the FBI and the Police to get this stuff back and they all said it is a civil matter. I think if he had been honest from the very beginning it would have not gone this far, but he wan not honest and for anyone to say he can not get a fair trial, what about the ones he has had since 1995 in Florida where he was found not guilty.

If Pete Rose can't be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame, for his involvement in gambling, maybe Simpson should be stripped of his Football Hall of Fame honors. I think his past is far worse than Pete's.

If Pete Rose can't be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame, for whatever gambling problems he may have had. Maybe it is time to get Simpson removed from the Football Hall of Fame. Seems to me that his problems are far worse than Pete's.

I would like to Ad. Sometimes Jurors have to stick up for what is fair, because we are a fair society, what is fair is what is right. Not what seems right at the time. Now its all up to the lynching Judge.. Good luck OJ, your gonna need it.

live in Vegas now and used to live in L.A. when the murder trail happened. I followed both trials closely. O.J. was railroaded out here. To make a long story short, I beleived he was guilty in the first trial, but not as the prosecution portrayed the events. I beleive the prosecution and L.A. P.D. messed up the case against him, as well as O.J.'s defense dream team did a fantastic job. He was lucky to be free but all people needed to accept that he was found innocent, very few did. As I watched almost every minute of the 13 day trial, I put myself in the seat of being one of the jurors. I did not watch or read any news reports, just as the judge had requested of the real jury. I just wanted to make my own judgment based on what happened in the courtroom, just like a regular juror. I really feel that OJ and co defendant CJ, should receive minor jail time, if any. There is no way they planned a kidnapping., the victims addmitted that the items belong to O.J., one so-called victim didnt want any charges pressed. O.J. made 2 mistakes, he let idiots bring guns. and OJ tryed to cover the guns up afterwards. The real thieves in this event are Alexander, McClinton and Riccio. If anyone should be doing hard time its them. This was a case of minor status, and should have been treated as such by, metro police and prosecutors. If felonys where to be level against anyone they should have gone against the gunmen, with petty crimes going to the rest.. The prosecutors did a masterful job of presenting there case, and by the word of Nevada law the jurors could of found the defendants guilty on all counts, as they did. The jurors also could have interpreted the entire incident from a reasonable persons point of veiw, and found that this all about a a guy trying to recover his stolen property, a stupid guy who allowed things to get out of hand. OJ is a very stupid man, I agree, but he was not as guilty as some of the other players that the prosecution gave immunity and "probation only" plea deals too. I hope Oj and CJ get a light sentence, or a re-trial . I beleived, before the verdict, that OJ should get about a 6 month to a year sentence for this, if any, CJ should have been set free. The jury obviously had other ideas. Probably before the even sat on the jurors seat.. I am happy for Goldman family, as they will probably get the items that finally put OJ away. What a shallow victory it will seem to them in the big picture. This is a very poor moment for our criminal justice system, pay back is not a law, it has no place in the courtroom, even if it feels good to most americans. Everyone in this case lied and bended the rules to help themselves, including the police and prosecutors. If the co-defendants all got offered sweet plea deals, then so should of OJ..

I think that O.J. Simpson was convicted even before his trial began. Mainly because it was predetermined that this will be our chance to get justice for the deaths of his ex-wife Nicole and her friend Ron Goldman. Everyone had already found him guilty in the court of "public opinion" for those two murders and after he was found not guilty by an all Black jury, it was evident that this was going to settle the score for the Goldmans and the rest of the world that felt he was guilty. The kind of life he lived was the type of person he was, just like you and I. Because he was under the scrutiny of the public eye, what he said and did was always "news". I pray that someway or another he will take this opporunity to surrender his life to God and realize that only what you do for Christ will last. Those same friends who basked in his fame and fortune were some of the ones who betrayed him. In closing, all during this trial I was amazed to hear grown men say that " they brought guns to a scene because they were asked to". Grown Men. Now you talk about peer pressure among our young people, this takes the cake!!!!!! I wish you all well.

the goldmans had no right to sue and take o.j.simpsons football memorabilia. because some one killed their son any person could have killed the drug transporter.simpson should not have suffered on something an other person did. his things should not have been in the hands of other people if that person was white american that would not have happened. the law is very bad you can not trust any law this time and day. people take their love away from god. and forget only god know what happened. and no one has the right to judge any on thank differently for a moment what if soon people find out who really killed o.j.simpsons wife and goldman. and that his things should not have left the owner. o.j.simpson. now what will happen when they find that out guess what no one will give a damn.

Oh one more thing, if he had been white with all that evidence against him, he would have gone to jail. The aquittal wasnt about murder it was about race.

    • Posted By: Eric13Bravo @ 10/04/2008 7:30:10 PM

      J. Mark, they found all kinds of blood evidence all over O.J.'s Bronco. If he didnt kill them how did the blood get there? He was guilty and everyone knows it and it was only by a miracle that he was aquitted in the murder case. And I think the kid was bringing Nicole her glasses which she left in the resteraunt, not drugs. Now if you bought that whole crazy story about how he didnt do it, well I have a Bridge in Brooklyn I want to sell you.
