couldn't we put something on the cover of newsweek OTHER than her disgusting crow's feet?

What a hatchet job! "...it stretches credulity to say that Obama is no more qualified to be president than Palin is." How can you possibly state that a sitting Governor is less qualified than a community organizer whose sole distinction has been running for President? O has not been in charge of anything, and has accomplished nothing except beating Hillary and denouncing his radical friends and pastor only when it was politically expedient to do so. Your lack of objectivity iand obvious bias are showing!

I believe this article would be considered a hatchet job. " it stretches credulity to say that Obama is no more qualified to be president than Palin is." How can you possibly say that a sitting governor is less qualified than a community organizer, whose sole distinction has been running for President? He has been in charge of nothing, and has accomplished nothing, other than beating Hillary... Your preferences are overriding your sense of fairness and objectivity...Absolutely amazing

Oh but Obama has all the answers huh, like taxing more jobs away from the US, and hanging out with a terrorist.

I do not buy the argument that candidates need a hisory in politics to be great leaders. I know many people who have never held an elected office of anykind who would be great Presidents. There are, however, two significant differences between Governor Palin and these people. First, I know them. Second, it is clear in the first ten minutes of speaking with them that they are both brilliant and knowleageable. Sadly, Governor Palin falls woefully short in this regard.

Well, most people you know saw it diffrrently. And so, what is your point.

  • Posted By: spectre30075 @ 10/10/2008 1:05:37 PM

That's because most people you know are bleeding-heart liberals.

If anyone is still unsure as to how the Nazis were able to bring about the Holocaust, Mr. Meacham is a stark example of the type of "journalism" that helped sell it to the German people.

Could it be oil? Could it be "mavericks?" I don't know, Harley. Enlighten me.

Do you know the history of communism and the modern democrat movement? What binds those two ideologies?

Harley - glad you're back. You make me laugh. Don't you know most folks from Texas don't care much about what others think of them. Boob.

This weeks cover of Sarah Palin is closely compaired to a cover of a tabloid magazine. Shame on Newsweek! Not only does it show that Palin is still beautiful even without re-touching, but it also prompted me to cancel my subscription!

The cover of Newsweek concerning Sarah Palin...It was a slap in the face of every American WOMAN. You disrespected and showed your disregard for any intelligent professional woman. I will NEVER buy another NEWSWEEK PULICATION AGAIN!!

  • Posted By: NNDallas @ 10/10/2008 11:16:54 AM

gosioux - You must be a genius.... you've observed that Palin's not the brightest bulb on the tree. But in your irrational partisan fervor, you cannot simply concede the fact that Newsweek intentionally withheld airbrushing for a reason. Why not, they figure any little dig is worth it at this stage in the campaign. Some of us think that's unprofessional for a news magazine.

NNDallas - give me a break! She doesn't need a magazine to show her in an unflattering light. She is quite capable of doing that all by herself- every time she opens her mouth to speak.
