    We subscribe to your magazine. I have noticed that your magazine has become beyond liberal!! Even you seem to have forgotton about being objective in an election. The picture of Sarah Palin on your cover is horrible. I'm not sure that you could have put a worse picture of her. You can even see her facial hair. This is disgusting. What's going on with you?

    Palin is another stunt from McCain, a calculation to supposedly bring her votes from Hillary supporters (actually their beliefs are the opposite), feminists (even though she's far from the feminist ideology), and those independents who can be easily fooled. We have seen during the last weeks that she's, and probably never be, ready to be President or VP. She can't even answer questions that my 14 year old niece can, she barely survived the debate by repeating lines that someone wrote for her, giving non-answers and dodging the questions. Moreover she is already involved in corruption, unethical behavior and abuse of power. We need someone above the average... she's intellectually just alright.     WOW, can't believe that some people are that dumb to believe that amount of crap about Obama.     Once I saw how the DNC and party elites pushed Hillary out of the way in favor of nominating Obama, I knew this was going to be an ugly election year. Pelosi, Reid, Dean, and superdelegates all did us a terrible disservice by pushing the less qualified candidate to the nomination. Hillary is UNIQUELY QUALIFIED to be president. Obama needed her on the ticket, but he snubbed her.
    McCain selected Palin to remind us that Hillary belonged on the Democratic ticket, and to remind us that Obama doesn't have a whole lot of experience either.
    The hostility of this campaign is not surprising at all.
    Newsweek never would have put a close up of Obama on the cover because it would draw attention to the unsightly wart on the side of his nose.

    When the media did everything from get yet another Democratic supporter like Tom Brokaw to "hand pick the questions from the audience of "undecieded voters" in phony townhall style setting of course Obama was going to look competent. That's the only way he could.

    Everyone knows or should know that McCain has not only been doing townhalls all over the country this whole time even when Obama refused to do any when invited by McCain "several times" the media had to move "heaven and earth" to make sure that this debate was fool proof. And Obama was the Fool!

    The only feed back I got out of this last debate was that Obama is going to tax us to death like his poor constituents in IL with high sales and gas taxes. And when he raises capital gains on companies everyone will be on Welfare because all of the compaines will leave US and leave us with even fewer jobs.

    He wants everyone to be poor. That way we will all be "the same" and the liberal media is none to happy to help. And stop thinking about how this is going to hurt the rich. The rich are already covering their hides. The second it gets too hot....Their Gone! And I mean out of the Country gone. And dont think you can move out of the country either because the rest of the world hates us more than any Republican could.

    But no worries b/c Obama will lose b/c all across this country states are relizing what ACORN under the Obama campaign is doing (10 states and counting investigating them for voter fraud) and Obama will not only ruin his life but also drag down the entire Democratic party. This is going to bad.

      I think for myself too. Regardless of what the setting or where the setting, McCain fell flat period. I would have voted for him in 2000, however the man is not the same as he was back in 2000.

      There are several women who come in mind that could have been chosen, and this article would not even been here. How about Elizabeth Dole?, or Olympia Snowe, or Susan Collins? Do you think possibly they may have been a better choice?

      Think4noone, Brokaw is NOT a democratic supporter. He is a longtime friend of McCain and indeed he serves as a "special liason to the McCain campaign." The McCain campaign specifically insisted that Brokaw moderate the 2nd debate. Quit whining. Your candidate just....sucks.

      The stench of desperation coming from you people would be sad if not for my sense of schadenfreude. As we say in the law: If you have the law on your side, pound the law. If you have the facts on your side, pound the facts. If you have neither, pound the table.

    You should be ashamed of yourselves! I canceled my subscription to Newsweek years ago, and every time I see the insulting rantings of your magazine, I'm reminded as to WHY I canceled. Sarah Palin is much more qualified to run for V.P. of this country than Osama, I mean Obama, is for President!! It would be a cold, ugly day in history if Barack Hussain Obama was somehow elected as President of the U.S. of A. God help us all.

    I agree with your assessment of Sarah Palin in all but one regard. The only resemblance between Ms Palin and Marge of Fargo is a similarity in their accents. Marge was a down to earth, honest, intelligent woman with a conscience. Her life was not all about her. She did her job to the best of her ability while taking care of her family...like so many millions of women in the world. As far as I can see Sarah Palin and John McCain are well suited......neither one of them has a conscience and whatever they are doing at any given time is ALL ABOUT THEM.

    Jimmy Carter was one of the smartest men ever to be president, and he was perceived as a poor president. Ronald Reagan was one of the most popular presidents ever, and was arguably suffering from Alzheimers disease throughout his terms. Sarah is a Great Communicator in the mold of Reagan, Obama may be as smart as Carter (although lacking the integrity). Knowledge means little in presidential politics.

    Your magazine is a disgrace!! I stopped my subscription years ago, and am reminded every time I see your stupid liberal insults! It's almost funny that you question Palin's qualifications or ability to run for V.P. when Osama, I mean Obama, has NO qualifications to run for President. I cannot imagine the United States Of America having a President named Barack Hussain Obama. That's because I don't want to have a President that is a Muslin@!!
