Obama’s ‘Good Will’ Hunting

The fact that Fox News Network is taking the position of launching a series of all out assaults against senator Obama???s character is a sad day in journalism. They should be ashamed of the immoral and unethical standards that their network displays on a continual basis. What they must be made to understand is that as citizens we rely upon networks for their fair and accurate reporting of events and we will not tolerate anything less, especially when its over the top or maybe I should say as far right as Fox News Network is. It is time to take a stand against Fox and look to other networks for fair and accurate news coverage.

Hey, 10 out of 10 terrorists endorse Obama. Why not? He's their best friend. He is a nobody who's done nothing except say he will cut American defenses and pull out of Iraq. He also loves to hate America saying that America is bombing civilians and villages. Clinton actually did that but Republicans are not traitors like Obama and DemocRATS. Thanks to the liberal propaganda media, few relaize DemocRATS including Obama caused the financial crisis that Republicans tried to regulate. DemocRATS had to many rich friends funding their campaigns and are too clueless on economics to do anything.

These fundraising charges are total nonsense. The GOP is grasping at straws. They have nothing substantive against Obama, but boy are they good at making up lies. This has been a leading Karl Rove tactic for years, and if America falls for this again we should be ashamed of ourselves. Not to mention the obvious fact that this is all a smokescreen to keep the focus off of the fact that Palin and her Alaska associates are in contempt of court for refusing to testify in the Troopergate hearings. After Nixon and Clinton, Americans are to some extent jaded, but really, would you want a VP who refuses to attend hearings in her own defense, and instructs her employees not to testify? That smells like guilt. It surely doesn't give the impression that she has done no wrong and has nothing to hide.

This year, the GOP offers you an angry old man and a woman who, while personable, is desperately uniformed about national and international issues. Both of them are far right politically. McCain used to be a maverick, but since 2004 he's voted 90% with Bush. McCain's policies are not original or reformist, despite how he's tried to co-opt Obama's popular message of change. Please go to the websites of both of the candidates and read their platforms. Obama's Blueprint for Change has more good ideas than McCain's plan. Compare them yourself. Obama's basic premise is that tax dollars should be spent to make America stronger and to improve the lives and well being of our people. For example, he uses education programs to train a new technology workforce, contributing to energy independence, creating jobs and improving the economy. When you read McCain's plan you will find no over-arching design to get America back on track. Instead you'll find more tax cuts for the wealthy, de-regulation of the health care industry, and a stated intent to overturn Roe v. Wade.

I'm a Republican. Although I embrace some forward-thinking social values, in the past I've rarely voted Democrat. My thinking was that since Republicans grow robust economies, by voting Republican I'd be endorsing a plan that would grow wealth for our nation, and then we'd be able to afford social programs. It was a good strategy for a couple decades, but I have to say that the tenure of W. Bush has changed my mind. Not only is there nothing fiscally responsible about today's GOP, the insidious alignment of the party with religious intolerance has really turned me off.

On the other hand, the intelligent luminous thought of Barack Obama has ignited my passion for politics and my patriotism. I want a President who puts America first and can get the economy back on track. In my mind, values voting takes a back burner when we are faced with a meltdown of the economy. It is time for a change, a real change. The Republicans have controlled the Presidency for 28 of the past 40 years, but they have fallen down on the job. The Democrats have a stellar candidate this year, and I am voting for Obama.

Now that Obama is winning the smear campaign is in FULL swing. Most of the people calling Obama racist on this blog are the ones that are, let's say, nervous about African Americans in general. They are always claiming that Obama uses the race card when they use the ethnic card. Anything to scare the American public. The scariest scenario the republicans can use, pales in comparision, to a McCain/Palin ticket trying to FIX the economy. It didn't work in 8 years under Bush and even with 8 more years with McCain/Palin it wouldn't improve. I was hoping though that Palin as a VP candidate would not stoop to public's level trying to revive the smear of Obama to terrorists but when you're desparate you're desparate. I haven't heard anything else coming out of Alaska; the home land security guy is doing a fine job sealing everything up there. Which is how I expect them to run the Washington if they ARE elected. I don't expect transparency under their administration.

Using little inuendos such as drinking the KOOL AID isn't going to work. Calling Obama a racist when he is half white is not going to work. Calling Obama a terrorist lover because people aren't scared that he is African American isn't going to work. Trying to demonize Rev Wright when he was upset that America turned its back on its citizens isn't going to work. He saw first hand the how ugly racism can be, so turning around and calling him a racist is not going to work. Obama can go to any church he wants to and by the way the Trinity church is multicultural, so calling his old church racist is not going to work. You don't grow a congregation from 8 to 8,000 by putting people to sleep.

When you are working in the trenches you are going to meet questionable people. Sometimes you may have to work with them when you need to help people that have been ignored by society. The question Obama probably asked Rezko and Ayers was simple, "is this is going to be a problem." If the answer was 'no' then that settles it. He hasn't judged these men because that is ***'s job, along with the bloggers on this website qualified to throw the first stone.

Helping the rich is not going to help the middle class or the poor and since they are more middle class and poor Americans voting in the US, you would think McCain would get it.


If he took that high paying job at a top law fim, Obama would not have the problems he has today. Of course, now the comment that Obama doesn't understand smear may have had a better chance to stick with him. It is amazing how McCain threw the attention off of his 100 million dollar lifestyle and make people believe that Obama was out of touch. That somehow because it was Cindy's money, that he was not ALSO well off.

I can see now that voting for Obama is just going to be a train wreck in the future. We all saw the scandals the Clintons brought to the table and many just looked the other way to it. Clinton gets in and then thrice lied to us all. He would only try to defend himself and the country just was ca casualty along with that surplus that was touted. Now comes Obama and more luggage and he's involved with radical extremist terrorists. And now shady contributions from shady sources looks like foreign extremist money. Great stuff idiots.
Let's look at the future with Obama shall we. Gas prices up, Food Prices up, Spending up, Taxes Up, people will still be losing their homes, jobs and savings. But the biggest is our national security. Listen China and Russia are running rampant with building and selling weapons they are asserting themselves around the globe along with others. Russia seems to be protecting Iran and its nuclear aspirations. They are close to the oil fields. Couple that with selling arms to the North African terrorists and the Middle Eastern Extremists. I do not think the European Union will do anything because they have their interests with the arabs, forsaking Isreal.
The arabs want the US to go this same route. So when you think Obama is going to save us think again. He will be trying to cover his butt while taking some good ole Middle class money. Do yourself a favor. Do not look the other way with Obama. Like you did with Clinton. Vote McCain/Palin. McCain was exonerated in the Keating Five they found nothing on him ask Mr. Bennett. Vote McCain/Palin they will change things for the better. Oh yeah and the ladies out there who think that they are going to change Roe vs. Wade you are mistaken it works fine the way it is already it is a mute point in this election. Don't allow fear of this to come into your thinking. If anything since abortion was supported look out at the populations of different peoples. The one who are religious lets say goes to church, synagogue. They have strong family values, for instance, Hispanics, Jewish, Asians, Italians, Irish.....These are the populations that are making big demographic changes. The different
white family groups are not willing to have kids because they work alot or just do not want to deal with raising kids and having families. Nice recipe for big changes in the way people think about politics. The new immigrants are wealthier they may still have connections to their home country. This may be good for new business coming into the country. But American ideals are being shelved because the new immigrants do not identify with the white american culture. Hey everything changes and thats ok. Let's just acknowledge what we do with our individual policies from day to day. Be honest and accept responsibility for our actions.

Journalist friends in London say that Muslim money is being bundled and sent from Mosques there to Mosques here and then distributed in small donations to Obama. So many Muslim countries and groups are cheering Obama's candidacy. It raises an ugly prospect for America to have a man in the White House bought and paid for my Muslims, especially since he was a beneficiary of a law school education at the expense of Muslims--even getting into Harvard without the LSAT scores and grads needed .

Obama is following of the proud tradition of Democrat corruption just like the Clintons taking money from the Chinesse Comunists. The enemies of America want Obama to win.He is the most dangerous candidate in history and may not even be eligible for this office. His campaign refuses to release his birth certificate for examination and the mainstream media like Newsweak, Time ABC, NBC, CBS etc. refuse to demand to see it. They are helping this fraud to con his way in to the White House. God help us if he wins.
