Illegalities in fundraising are only a problem if perpetrated by the Republicans because as everyone knows they are evil and must be defeated even if Democrats also need engage in illegal activities to defeat them. Fortunately for us all Democrats can engage in illegal activities because they are pure at heart and their intentions are noble so they are not debased any by illegal acts they may need to take part in during their fight against the evil Republicans. This is why voter fraud is acceptable if it is a Democrat initiative and why storing $90,000 in your freezer is not a problem. Come to think of it your freezer may be the safest place to keep your money so Congressman Jefferson was probably just being fiscally prudent. In fact Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are not the root of the problem because the Republicans were smart enough to realize that they were Democratic buy your vote programs and should not have allowed their rich cronies to take advantage of loose lending policies. They should have made it illegal for people to make money then we would never have come to the mess we are currently in. Thank god Obama is going to save us. I can???t wait for the brainwashing to take full effect.

Who is Obama? There is such a disjunk between the lofty words and the bottom line facts (0 executive experience, New Yorker article about his Chicago life, introduction to Chicago politics with Ayers, low blows to fellow Democrat candidates, passing for everyday guy when he was always in private schools, the invisible family in Hawaii, Kenya & Indonesia - 20 years with Rev Wright then his outright dismissal for political gain... and on and on) .

He is most certainly brilliant and extraordinarily talented speaks most charismatically - BUT I keep asking myself it is really him or his 300 advisors that send him questions & answers each morning (NYT article) - is he spining his story the way he wants us to believe him (he never published as a professor but wrote two biographies ???, no family around him or visible by journalists to check the biographies)... I really am getting more and more puzzled over who he really is... and wonder if we are not being PRed into voting for someone we do not know.

The democrats have turned fund raising and voting into prostitution. They solicit funds from anyone , anywhere and use them. At least McCain agreed to have his records reviewed yet as is par for the course the Obiden camp is hiding.They pick up homeless people off the street and drive them to register and vote for their candidate then they dump them back in the street....Project "educate the idiots" and contributions from illegal sourses ....pretty democratic and certainly compassionate........

Somehow Obama has placed himself in the middle of the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac deal so soon after entering Washington.
