I would like to thank Barbie Nadeau for writing this article.
This shows that not all journalists favour situations akin to the 1995 trial of OJ Simpson.
Unfortunately, my observation of journalists in the US has shattered by believe in the integrity of American journalists and PR people who seem to be more interested in following the money trail then justice.

To the Italians reading this column- Bremner, the "prominent attorney" from Seattle, makes a name for herself via her friendship with a locally famous convicted child rapist, her association with the local R.C. church representing its priests on sex abuse charges, and various local police agencies, again defending personnel accused of sex abuse. As another spoke in the wheel of deviants associated with Bremner, Knox (-legal determinations yet to be made) is now publically keeping company with some of the more disgusting names on the west coast. For example:
. Mary Kay Letourneau, the grade school teacher convicted for having sex with a sixth-grade pupil, was released from prison early Wednesday Mary L. Letourneau landed in jail for child rape (twice). Letourneau wants to try to build a normal life, said Seattle attorney Anne Bremner, who struck up a friendship with Letourneau in 2002
ANNE BREMNER, FRIEND OF LETOURNEAU: Thanks.
COOPER: Anne, let me start off with you. You saw Mary Kay Letourneau last week. Was she optimistic that she would see Fualaau again?
BREMNER: Yes. And I have to say, you meet the most interesting people at work She was optimistic, you know, a little apprehensive -- seven years in prison. Of course, you're worried about going into the big world, especially where the media -- the media glares everywhere. And the uncertainty was there with respect to whether she would have a future with Vili and what would happen with all six of her children.

The Perugia courthouse is indeed a early Renaissance palace, built in 1481 by Lombard architets. This common historical mistake I've read all over the American media is misleading, on the purpose to associate Italian justice to medieval ages. You have the right to affirm whatever you want, but please dont blame the history of architecture.

A Perugian, really annoyed with this uninformative news.

The murder marketing campaign is down right disgusting.
The murder suspect should wait with the marketing campaign until after the trial.
I personally think that the campaign's purpose is to interfere with or even prevent a fair trial.
How any one who followed this trial since November could think there is no need to try
these three prime murder suspects is beyond me.

I do not think that Amanda Knox is a victim of the media.

"If this was the United States you would never have a charge on this evidence aginst Amanda Knox", opines defense analyst Anne Bremner. But its NOT the United States Ms. Bremner, its Italy and the court of public opinion be damned. She faces murder charges and therefore has to be tried by the laws of the country in which the crime was committed. Just as we would demand justice if a foreign national had committed a crime in this country, so too must we respect and abide by the laws of any country that we happen to be residing in. We should not get a free pass just because we are Americans. What we should stand on the principal of the rule of law. We demand it here in America, we can expect no less from lthe Italians.

I am Italian, and I can assure that we don't give a .... whether Amanda Knox is guilty or not. I don't know why somebody keeps on saying "It's in jail because of the pressure of public opinion". It is clearly junk, I shouldn't even write it. And finally, for those who are so concerned about the Italian legal system, just think that she does not risk to be sentenced to death and killed, which is instead allowed in the state of Washington. Think about it.
