    I wish Hillary had won

Senator Obama never said he wants to attack Pakistan. What channel are you listening to? The same one McCain is?

George Bush has already compromised our relationships with every country in the world. He's the arrogant SOB that got us in this mess. Whoever inherits this is going to have a big clean-up job ahead. I don't think it will happen during the term of either of these guys. It will take decades to repair the damage that W has done.

The United States invaded a country and quicky defeated the country's military.
We are occupying the country and there has been an increse in violence against both the United States miltary and the native population in an attempt to de-stabilize the country. There are propsals to increse the troop strength in that country to quash the uprising and stabilize the country.

What country is this and what year is this?

GO McCAIN - DON'T GIVE AWAY YOUR STRATEGY LIKE OBAMA JUST DID. HE HAS NO EXPERIENCE OR IDEA OF WHAT IT TAKES TO WIN A WAR.

I AM PROUD TO BE A REPUBLICAN AND VOTE YOU YOU AND MS. PALIN

McCain is out of touch with reality. We don't shop for health care as individuals, we take whatever our employers choose to offer us because it's prohibitively expensive to purchase anything on your own. As long as you have your job, you have a group policy that is less expensive. Lose your job and you're SOL if you have any, ANY health condition besides "perfect." I challenge either of these guys to really address this issue.

    • Posted By: flamencoheart @ 10/07/2008 9:53:01 PM

Not true. You have a choice of having personal insurance. Some employers give their employees the equivalent of what they would pay for you so that you can acquire health insurance on your own. Where have you been?

      • Posted By: cwinternj @ 10/07/2008 10:03:16 PM

Employer "bounties" for refusing group healthcare insurance are never the full cost. In any case, the typical group policy would cost a family of four about $8500. A family of four would pay on average $12600 in the "individual" market. In New Jersey that cost is $15,600!

Cuba, Vietnam. Laos, Cambodia, Iran, Nicaragua, Somalia, Iraq. Let our friends, allies and the innocents die, by the millions if necessary. Just so long as they are not Americans. We are the Democratic Party, and for 50 years, from the Bay of Pigs to the Basra Highway and beyond, we have never met a fight we could not pressure our government to run away from, or friends and allies we could not abandon. It's the story of our generation. Only the French are more defeatist than we, but together America, we can change that. We can be number one. And its change we can believe in. Come on America, and vote Democrat. Together, we can re-live that pride we haven't felt since the 1970's. If we just blindly pull together, we really can make this just like it really is Jimmy Carter's lost second term. Yes we can!

Kudos, McCain! Senator Obama wants to attack Pakistan and Senator McCain wants to work with the countries to become allies against the Al-Quada. It's as easy as that! Senator Obama is naive and will get us into World War III

  • Posted By: flamencoheart @ 10/07/2008 9:50:49 PM

Obama has no business talking about the War - he has not lived it and been a part of it. How can he claim to know what to do when he has no experience on it? Yes, we have spent a lot of money, a lot of lives have been lost - no one ever said War was easy. OBAMA STOP!!! YOU HAVE NEVER AND WILL NEVER BE A TRUE AMERICAN. Your idea of a "surrender" is not the American way.

    • Posted By: NRaye1960 @ 10/07/2008 9:54:15 PM

Well, Obama is not alone!! I wish we would "surrender" .... what are we fighting FOR? It certainly isn't for MY freedom...is it yours? Well, then shame on you!

Doesn't Senator Obama understand just pulling the troops out without regard to Iraq economy, will give a greenlight to Al-Quada. It gives them the idea that they can wait us out and then overrun the area. The fragile Iraqi government is slowly taking control of their country. They only need a little more time to get the full job done. Senator McCain is right, let's protect our reputation and pull the troops out slowly.

  • Posted By: Nowforthetruth @ 10/07/2008 9:53:35 PM

What Obama? We had no obligation to go into Iraq after we ask the Sheitis to rise up, only to be mowed down by the Guard the liberals would not let us finish off after the Basra Highway? Remember the mass graves we found?

  • Posted By: NRaye1960 @ 10/07/2008 9:52:21 PM

I'm turning the "debate" off because I can't stand to look at McCain anymore...he's an SOB with a smirk...he's trying to anger Obama...I wish Obama would push McCain's buttons so that he could show off his bad temper. Once again...read the Rolling Stone article about McCain...it tells it ALL!!

  • Posted By: Therese in NV @ 10/07/2008 9:51:02 PM

I can't agree with Senator Obama's stance on healthcare. We have enough problems with hospitals and insurance companies now trying to get out of paying medical costs. I don't want a government agency telling my family what medical costs will be covered or not. I like the idea of crossing state lines for medical coverage as stated by Senator McCain. If the insurance companies have to compete, we will get better coverage.

why cant we take the 10 billion dollars a month we are spending in a war and bring it back home

  • Posted By: NRaye1960 @ 10/07/2008 9:49:27 PM

Obama is right on talking about insurance companies cheating their enrollees. I'm on disability retirment...just spent less than 24 hours in the hospital...my bill came to $6400 and my portion of the bill is over $1000 ... even though they pay "100%" for hospitalization....I am required to spend $1250 "out of pocket" before they pay 100%. I don't have enough income coming into to pay that much out of my pocket. It's a RACKET!!

  • Posted By: cwinternj @ 10/07/2008 9:49:20 PM

In 1999 Congress was controlled by the GOP.

  • Posted By: flamencoheart @ 10/07/2008 9:48:14 PM

Correction: ... and not take the "insurance company's word" for it.

  • Posted By: momabear @ 10/07/2008 9:42:54 PM

do you really think that people will take $5000.00 and spend it on health care? No , they will pay bills and go to Wal-Mart

    • Posted By: flamencoheart @ 10/07/2008 9:47:23 PM

People should have their priorities straight!!!!!
