GEEESH! What can I say.
I thought the picture was of an OBama rally!

Step one of colonization: Make the natives think you are not a threat, that you are here to help them.
Step two: Expand, and be diverse--ie., don't just stick to the Catholic church, infiltrate all of the other churches.
Step three: Divide and conquer--make the natives as confused as possible about what to do, even when common sense says you're being conquered.
History will give credit to Latin America's brilliance in making a "Democratic coup" by infiltrating and overpopulating our country, and playing on our tolerance and good Christian will to stymy us from doing much of anything about it.
Great 'reporting'
I wish the candidate would discuss global poverty more. According to The Borgen Project:
$30 billion: Annual shortfall to end world hunger.
$540 billion: Annual U.S. Defense Budget
Here we go again, bring up abortion and homosexuality and all the Latinos fall in line. Give them more credit than that!
Larrykqc,
The problem with your logic is Palin. She's a definite game changer. should anything happend to McCain, she would be president and all hell would break loose. She's not only unqualifiied, she's dangerously unqualified....too bad McCain didn't choose Liebermann, if he had, then your logic would be a lot better. McCain's choice of Palin proves he only cares about winning the election. His "country first" is just another empty slogan.
I understand your point. But, i believe you think her dangerous for very partisan reasons. i am an independent. She seems to have managed her offices with competence. And, she has said clearly that she will not bring her social opinions into national government. Most of the blogs are incendary and false.
RoeVWade is a court verdict that cannot be set aside without new facts. Congress and the president can't do it. maybe, an amendment process by 50 states. But, then the court would strike it down. i am pro-choice. I do not believe the slander that says she will set Civil Right back 50 years. I need some objective proof of your statement "dangerous". She has n 80% approval rating by some pretty independent people. Not many evangelical in Alaska. Some say that Obaam is dangerous. Should I accept their owrd off hand? Nope, brother, A split is still more important.
A good president needs two things. First he needs bright advisors that will speak freely. This was very much Bush's downfall. Secondly he needs to be quick-smart The current world is changing rapidly. The pace of congress demonstrates there slowness and the partisan habit of promoting the compliant and not the free thinkers. McCain may looked slow. but, his ability to form an answer is much faster than Obama. I mean they are both partisans and forced us to listen about 70& untruth. Obama was wrong about Clinton's surplus and about Bush's part in the national debt. But, we will give them the reality that neither has a good plan and neither really will try to pass this stuff. Hell, they have been promising energy independence since Nixon. Congress ,both parties create damn little legistion for vote. They scream gridlock. But, the yare unproductive. That won't change.
We don't know who the advisors will be. McCain an ex-fighter pilot is quicker than the pondering Obama. Both will try to reepond. that is why history is a bad judge (except for character. men don't change. Ask a woman.)
The essntial point of this election to to admit that the problem is a partisan driven government. Goerge Washington was right. And, it is also essential to understand history. Partisan voters forget quickly and hold no one accountable for lies.
The worst government in our and others history has occurred when one party had the presidency and a filibuster proof majority in Congress (For example, look at Repubican Ascendancy in the '20s).. This allows them to serve the party in an acelerrated basis, They will spend more and create more deficit. The dollar will keep getting weaker as it has since LBJ 44 years ago.
You keep getting screwed. The real answer in more independence to offset this two party game.
But, for now (prepare fro a shock, partisans) you must vote for McCain. That gives all voters representation in this would-be democracy and slows the process. Reagan, Clinton and FDR all had this split..
if the democrats have it all they will take it for granted and get lazier . You will have eliminated competition. They must be more transparent with a split as well.
